When I called to ask about the sleeping space in the Cowboy Suite (where we stayed in 2021), Terry and I shared our stories of loss and grief. That is when he offered our group “the Courthouse”. Your gracious hospitality and our time there will be fondly remembered. It was filled with love, laughter, adventure, amazing views, exhilarating experiences and healing.||Five nights at the “Cozy”:||We arrived late on Thursday and helped ourselves to homemade chips and salsa and bottled water from the common area.||On Friday morning we awoke to a stunning view of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte from our private deck with table, chairs, and gas firepit. The day started with a delicious breakfast prepared by Terry and left in our kitchen the night before (your choice of 2: Muffin & frittata or muffin & yogurt parfait.||Our first hike was down the trail right out our back door at the "Cozy" and across the road to Bell Rock. The parking lot was already full when we passed it on foot. The “Cozy” provided a Red Rock Pass for parking for our use, but we didn't use it that day. Scrambling up a crevice to mid-rock was worth the vista of Cathedral Rock and beyond. After getting some groceries at Safeway (15 minute drive) we got ready for our Valentine’s Day dinner reservation in Sedona (a 30 minute drive, depending on time of day). After dinner, we had a cocktail and sang karaoke at PJ’s Pub, where the locals hang in Oak Creek Village.||We spent the next three days hiking, taking a helicopter ride, going on an ATV adventure, dining and shopping. ||Monday, February 17, was the last day of our amazing adventure trip to Sedona. The 8 mile roundtrip hike to experience Devil’s Bridge (thank you Terry for the Red Rock Pass for parking) was well worth the vista and photo opportunities. The day was made extra special as a young man handed his camera to us and asked if we would photograph as he proposed marriage to his lady. That evening we shared our stories with Terry, Carrie and Tequila sitting around the gas firepit wrapped in "Cozy" ponchos while having a glass of wine.||On Tuesday morning we packed up and had our last delicious breakfast prepared by Terry at “The Cozy Cactus”. The “Cozy” is so much more than a B&B. It is a refuge and a place that feels like home away from home.||With Gratitude,||Your Forever Cozies,||Mike, Teresa, Anna||Aubrey & Olivia||(near Tampa, Florida)
