13 Best Airbnbs in Sedona, Arizona in 2023 - AFAR

"From the living area inside this compact casita or the Adirondack chairs outside, you’ll have a great view of Chimney Rock, and past guests have called out the excellent star-gazing opportunities. The house is only a three-minute walk to the Airport Loop trailhead, which links to some 50 miles of hiking and biking trails. Inside, the decor is simple but cheerful, and perks include yoga mats and four different methods to brew coffee plus sustainable, locally roasted, small-batch grounds from FreeForm Coffee Roasters." - Lyndsey Matthews, Nicholas DeRenzo

We stayed in the Sedona Sky and just loved it. The condo is super comfortable and very well appointed. They think of so many special details AND a fully functional kitchen to boot! The patio is wonderful and having a State Park for your back yard is very special. We enjoyed every moment. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive .

As always an EXCELLENT stay. New owners, Jamie, Jenn and Steve are continuing and improving the Cozy Cactus. I may regret giving them an OUTSTANDING recommendation as they are already booked for dates we wanted in fall. We will just arrive earlier. A good thing. Amazing views and love the courtyard..A continuous nature show.

This was our 13th time as a repeat "Cozie" and we just love this place. Thanks to Carrie and Terry for making our vacation special. The Cozy is our go-to place. We love this resort as it is clean and quiet - must haves now a days with busy lifestyles where every vacation means so much to rest and recharge. What a great way to do this than to be around wonderful nature and clean air. There are great hikes right outside the door - Bell and Courthouse rock and even the adventurous Slim Shady trail than can be taken all the way to Cathedral Rock and beyond.||Oak Creek is a great place to be - a short drive to uptown Sedona and away from some of the traffic there. Of course, there are so many hikes everywhere than the entire area is great||Check out the Sedona airport hike - great restaurant at the top. Doe Mountain and Devils Bridge are fun hikes too. So many places to see !||We look forward to returning soon !

The Cozy Cactus is our kind of place. The room was comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed having breakfast every day that we could eat whenever we wanted. Great homemade salsa to go with chips for a snack. If we wanted we could make coffee or tea whenever we wanted. The common area with a stove was available for us to use. We thoroughly enjoyed the patio with fantastic views of the| Red Rock country. There is direct access to the Slim Shady trail and the Bell Rock loop trail right from the patio. Clearly, Cozy Cactus was a much better choice for us than staying in downtown Sedona. Thanks to Terry, Carrie, and Jill for their hospitality.

Found this place through third party booking. Third party canceled my reservation without sending me an email. Got to the place, and the owner explained what happened (not their fault at all), and still accomodated us. We also got a better price booking through them directly. So I suggest, to book directly with them. Luckily, our original room we booked was still available. To our delight, the room had spectacular views of the Bell Rock. Like literally the backyard leads to a trail. The owners are so hospitable. We met the husband first. He suggested dining options and hiking trails. He let us borrow hiking sticks, bug repellant sprays, and sunscreen lotions. They even let you use their parking pass for the trails. We met the wife the morning (although she was in contact with me already). She brought us breakfast. We had trouble looking for chargers for our EV, and she even found time to give us suggestions where to charge. Of course, the room was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with amenities you need. Lastly, they allowed late check-in for our late checkout. Their daughter helped us through that process. I honestly can't think of a much better accommodation in Sedona.

We found this amazing spot to stay for a few days in Sedona and are so glad we did!! We stayed in the Vortex Vista and it was perfect for our first stay in the Sedona area! The new owners are FABULOUS and very welcoming. The level of detail they put into furnishing and stocking the rooms is lovely, and the breakfast they provide was great (they bring it the afternoon before, so you can eat on your own schedule in the morning). We were able to walk to Bell Rock & Courthouse Butte with the "Slim Shady" trail right out the back patio. Lots of restaurants are walking distance and it's a short drive to Uptown Sedona or West Sedona for more adventuring. We will definitely be back and recommend the Cozy Cactus to anyone!

When I called to ask about the sleeping space in the Cowboy Suite (where we stayed in 2021), Terry and I shared our stories of loss and grief. That is when he offered our group “the Courthouse”. Your gracious hospitality and our time there will be fondly remembered. It was filled with love, laughter, adventure, amazing views, exhilarating experiences and healing.||Five nights at the “Cozy”:||We arrived late on Thursday and helped ourselves to homemade chips and salsa and bottled water from the common area.||On Friday morning we awoke to a stunning view of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte from our private deck with table, chairs, and gas firepit. The day started with a delicious breakfast prepared by Terry and left in our kitchen the night before (your choice of 2: Muffin & frittata or muffin & yogurt parfait.||Our first hike was down the trail right out our back door at the "Cozy" and across the road to Bell Rock. The parking lot was already full when we passed it on foot. The “Cozy” provided a Red Rock Pass for parking for our use, but we didn't use it that day. Scrambling up a crevice to mid-rock was worth the vista of Cathedral Rock and beyond. After getting some groceries at Safeway (15 minute drive) we got ready for our Valentine’s Day dinner reservation in Sedona (a 30 minute drive, depending on time of day). After dinner, we had a cocktail and sang karaoke at PJ’s Pub, where the locals hang in Oak Creek Village.||We spent the next three days hiking, taking a helicopter ride, going on an ATV adventure, dining and shopping. ||Monday, February 17, was the last day of our amazing adventure trip to Sedona. The 8 mile roundtrip hike to experience Devil’s Bridge (thank you Terry for the Red Rock Pass for parking) was well worth the vista and photo opportunities. The day was made extra special as a young man handed his camera to us and asked if we would photograph as he proposed marriage to his lady. That evening we shared our stories with Terry, Carrie and Tequila sitting around the gas firepit wrapped in "Cozy" ponchos while having a glass of wine.||On Tuesday morning we packed up and had our last delicious breakfast prepared by Terry at “The Cozy Cactus”. The “Cozy” is so much more than a B&B. It is a refuge and a place that feels like home away from home.||With Gratitude,||Your Forever Cozies,||Mike, Teresa, Anna||Aubrey & Olivia||(near Tampa, Florida)

We were met by Terry when we checked in and he made us feel right at home! He showed us around and told us about the nearby hikes. We followed the trail right from the back gate to the Bell Rock loop. We stayed in the Vortex Vista and this is the view from our balcony. Amazing! Everything you could think of is provided! The room had snacks, waters, wine and chips and salsa waiting for us. There were maps and plenty of info about the area and several extra wool blankets for snuggling up on the balcony. Kitchen had a full sized fridge, microwave, hot plate, coffee maker and hot water pot. In addition, there is a common area downstairs where you can find drinks and chips/salsa. There are supplies games to borrow during your stay: ponchos, umbrellas, backpacks, coolers, sunscreen and bug spray, games - you name it, they’ve thought of it! A common patio gas fire pits, chairs and blankets to hang and enjoy the view. Terry’s breakfasts were delicious!!! We had the vegetarian frittatas and 2 types of muffins. It was very convenient that breakfast was delivered the afternoon prior so that we could eat as it was convenient for us or even take it on the road. Would most definitely stay here again!!
