Cozy Pillow (Utrecht, Netherlands) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The name may lead you to expect something more like a quaint little B&B, but Utrecht’s Cozy Pillow has a stylish, contemporary side as well. It’s set close to Museum Speelklok in the picturesque city center, on the old cobblestone Steenweg, and it’s just upstairs from the owners’ fashion boutique, Fred. The rooms are contemporary in style and, yes, cozy — breakfast is waiting outside your door when you awake, and while there’s no in-house restaurant, the neighboring Ruby Rose is both a cocktail bar and a restaurant, whose ornate interiors make for a memorable meal." - Tablet Hotels

The hotel is nice, clean and in a great location close to the Central station. Comfy bed and pillows. Digital check in and out. But the hotel is also located close to the Church, the Dom Bell works overnight too. We couldn't sleep the first night in the rooftop room because of the bell ringing and street noises, since the room is without noise cancellation. The stairs are steep, and we could also hear noises from our neighbors. If someone is a light sleeper, this is not the right place.

Great location , but not a hotel . More of a B&B / Airbnb type thing . Some issues with the room (room 2 first floor) - an ironing board but no iron . As I travel for work having an iron should be a staple for any 4* hotel . I get one even in 3* hotels . Tv remote was nowhere to be found ! Searched the room high and low , so no TV as controls on the TV were inaccessible. Weird underwhelming back door type view with other properties looking in. Steep stairs , with a suitcase could be a real pain for those with disabilities I even struggled and I’m a fit and healthy 34 year old. Bedside bulb gone in one lamp . Random electrical in cupboards … dusty cupboards, some nuts left on the side from last customer. It was a very average stay to put it lightly . As mentioned good location though and soft drinks were a nice touch . No water though although they stipulate on the welcome card that there is still water .

Lovely reception team. |Beautiful room. |Huge comfortable bed. |Lovely pillows, duvet, good heating system, big tv and free tea / coffee. |Good size shower room. ||The only problem was the Utrecht church. Its bells literally ring every 15 minutes. All day. All night. It’s quite loud!||But for one night it was perfect location, clean and very comfortable

Nice enough rooms, but this place is really more air BnB rather than hotel. Check in is in shop below, where staff are very friendly and helpful, but after check-in that's all you'll see of anyone unless you pop into the shop. Breakfast if you choose it is 3 mins walk away in Anna and Max (we preferred the place opposite). Finally, beware of very steep stairs to rooms - probably best to ask for room on lower floors if you choose to stay here. Utrecht is a beautiful city and worth a visit.

Comfy for a short business trip. I will definitely not recommend this hotel for parents with small children or pregnant ladies, the staircase is véry steep and curves uneasily, hazardous for some. The link to opening the doors work well and the location is splendid 👌🏻

The room at Cosy Pillow is not only spacious and well-arranged but also remarkably quiet, offering a serene atmosphere for a relaxing stay. However, it's worth noting that the stairs are quite narrow. The hotel provides numerous thoughtful amenities and personal touches, such as the welcoming presence of incense.||Situated less than a 10 minute walk from Utrecht Central and right in the heart of charming Utrecht's town center, the boutique hotel enjoys proximity to an array of bars, restaurants, and shops, making it an ideal location for exploring the vibrant surroundings.||One standout highlight for me was the exceptional breakfast experience at Anne & Max. The breakfast, cooked fresh and served with a smile, stands out as one of the best I've ever had at a hotel. This alone makes a stay at Cosy Pillow memorable.||Given the overall positive experience, I am looking forward to booking a night at Cosy Pillow on my next visit to Utrecht.

The Cozy Pillow Boutique Hotel is located bang in the canter of Utrecht, close to the shops, restaurants and canals. The staff were just great, and Sonia went out of her way to accommodate our requests for teas and coffees, and even wrote a pretty note for us. The room was on the second floor and even though we did know that there was no lift, putting up or down our luggages was a bit of a feat; luckily we had arrived early and Sonia got a handyman to take up our heavy luggages. The stairs are quite steep and narrow, not really good for older people. Room was comfortable with AC, bathroom with shower and a comfortable bed and pillows. I often complain of hotel pillows but these were good. Room was quiet, we were on the second floor. Breakfast was served at Anne*Max some 4 min away from the Hotel - the breakfast was just great and the staff at Anne&Max were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend this Hotel.

Incredible boutique hotel! Great service, and fantastic experience! The room is elegantly designed, each room is unique and tasteful. There were bottled water, tea and coffee. Everything is well prepared. The king size bed is just heavenly comfortable. Centrally located in the old town. I couldn’t be happier with my stay.
