Why Krakow, Poland is worth visiting right now - SilverKris

"Cracowdays’ studio apartments blend original 19th-century features — original brick walls and polished oak floors — with modern comforts like king-size beds, walk-in showers and well-equipped kitchens, and it also offers chic bedrooms for couples or individuals with colour schemes inspired by wine varietals." - SilverKris

What to say about this beautiful B&B?! Magdalena was the perfect host during my stay. Breakfast was delicious, and Magdalena ensured everything, from coffee to a very good chat and some extremely valuable tips. Can't thank her enough. I will for sure return at another time! Thank you again, Magdalena :)

We felt lucky to have chosen this apartment. Nothing seemed to be a problem for our hosts Magdalena and Gosha - transport advice, early arrival, luggage storage and an excellent breakfast. Location was perfect in a quiet street just a short walk to the old town and a tram stop for trams running to Wawel and Kazimierz just round the corner. We had a great stay. Thank you.

We arrived with a pre arranged early checkin. An unassuming building exterior, up some stairs to a smart set of rooms. We had a superior twin room which was very swanky. Breakfast was served by Magda each morning, at a time that suited us in the kitchen diner. Loads on offer, beautifully presented. A short walk into main square which did not bother us.

We went for a long weekend (three nights) in November joining walking tours and doing our own exploring in the Old Town and in the Jewish quarter. We stayed in the Studio a couple of minutes walk from the main building where we had breakfast every day. |Everything was excellent!|Magdalena was a friendly breakfast host who coordinated breakfast sittings so that she could give all guests plenty of attention. Breakfast was delicious and varied and she gave us lots of excellent advice on places to see and eat.

The apartments are in a great location situated in an old building on the second floor, up 3 flights of steps, with locals living in the neighbouring apartments but very quiet apart from the odd dog barking now and again.||Our room was spacious, very clean and tidy, we had fantastic breakfast provided every day, you can help yourself to tea and coffee in the breakfast room at anytime. Cake left out for the afternoon on our return, lovely touch! ||The staff were great, all very kind and very helpful, a taxi was organised by Cracowdays (100 Polish Zloty or €20 20min drive from the Airport) we had easy instructions to gain entry and collect our keys but the taxi driver showed us in which was a bonus. |We took the Train back from the main station on our return to the airport, About 40 PLN zł takes about 20-30 minute ride very easy to buy a ticket from the machines at the station or from the ticket offices easy to find. Staff are happy to help and book trips for you if required. ||Cracowdays is in a Great location 10 minutes from main station by tram, it’s only a short walk from the city centre (about 700meters) lots of great cafes, Polish restaurant's and shops on the main road (2min walk) and around the local area. A main Bus/Tram routes on the main road, a ticket machine is just across the road 100 meters to the right (outward bound side from city centre)| |We had a fantastic stay, very good value.

We stayed in the Studio which was 2 minutes from the main Cracowdays building. The Studio was well very clean, modern & well equipped. Situated just outside the Old Town it’s ideally placed & is only a 15 minute walk into the historic old town. Gosha on reception was a joy & could not have more helpful.

Yelp
This could be the best hotel I have ever stayed at, and I travel a lot! Before ever arriving they did everything possible to find out how they could make our stay enjoyable and help out with reservations. We arrived early and they were able to get us into our room and help settle us in. Breakfast was very enjoyable chatting with the host and their assistance in planning our day. The rooms are large and have great character. Cracowdays should be your first choice if you are visiting Kraków.

Yelp
This is the most amazing setup and rooms you can find. I almost hesitated to write something because I wanted to keep this to myself. It is a ten minute walk to the town center but the rooms are worth it. When you approach the location from the outside you might wonder, "What have I gotten myself into!" When they let you in by buzzing open the security door and you open the doors to see a dimly lite old cement stairway, your heart might start racing with the urge to run the other direction, but believe me, "have faith!" You will quickly be greeted by one of three from the same family, (father, son or daughter/sister.) We had the daughter who was as cute and sweet-hearted of a person you will ever meet! We would have loved spending more time with her top quality personality. Then she takes you through a hallway door that opens up to a very wide, well lite, long hallway that is beautifully and warmly decorated. The hallway is access to four large apartment style rooms, an open computer station and an large open kitchen with coffee makers, capabilities for light cooking (small stove), refrigerator, small/med kitchen table/chairs and a small refrig. with drinks that include wine and beer to purchase - everything clean, newly renovated and painted, warm and welcoming. The kitchen access has no door, but you enter through a doorway, so it is a large room space. The hotel rooms/apartments have two access doors--outer doors to shield from any movement noise from the shared hallway and the door that opens directly to your room that is appropriately and confidently secured(locks.). There is a small landing space between the outer doors and inner doors. The inner doors open up into a very nicely renovated large room that keeps the antique look of the room but is refreshed, warmly decorated and painted and clean and fresh looking and feeling. They topped it off with a beautiful blooming orchid that was flowering. The room was spacious, the bed was large with a new feathered bed comforter and fresh clean sheets. The bathroom was all new and modern. They didn't miss a thing! I am coming back! Ps... For another 5-star hotel that is smack dab in the middle of the old city square, try the Hotel Senacki! It is wonderful in all ways. As for me, I choose to walk ten minutes! :))
