Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge is such a gem close to the city! The surroundings are stunning with the lake, wildlife roaming freely, and beautiful walking and cycling trails all around. The accommodation feels peaceful and private, and the lodge has a great balance of nature and comfort. The staff are friendly and always ready to help, which makes the experience even better. Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway, a day out in nature, or some adventure activities, it’s the perfect place to relax and recharge. Highly recommended!

We visited this Cradle moon as we where doing a hike. The place was neat clean with a sparkling pool. There are alot of activities that you caan do from hiking, watersports and game drives. Restuarant at the lodge was fairly priced however staff was rowdy and not very friendly.

Beautiful setting, I love the Lanceria area. We went canoeing, even though Cradle Moon was very busy and the parking area was packed, the lake wasn't busy at all, so that was lovely. Had coffee at the coffee shop, also great!

Cradle Moon is bursting with wildlife and has many easy walks for a novice adventurer to enjoy. Aside from the breath taking lake views, there are many statues and the like to enjoy. The restaurant serves delicious milkshakes and the pizza is divine. I would definitely recommend it as a family friendly day outing or even a romantic getaway for couples. Be sure to stop in at the visitor center.

It's not every day you can take a hike and pass by zebra The restaurant deserves a special mention. With stunning views overlooking the lake, it's the perfect spot to unwind after a hike. The food is delicious and well-prepared

The venue is very amazingly beautiful, lots of nature ,very affordable to enter R50 only ,id give the food a 5 out of 10. I was disappointed to find some tables dirty. The waiter cleaned the table apon our arrival. But the services is quick .

Beautiful area for walks and outdoor activities. Fee payable for entrance. Animals for example Zebra and Giraffe walk around freely. Lots of bird life. Hike is beautiful. Lovely restaurant and delicious food. Such a calming and relaxing atmosphere.

Went for the 5km hike, we arrived slightly later on Sunday morning. It was a tiny bit crowded but that’s to be expected on such a beautiful hike trail! We saw a good amount of wildlife grazing very close by. The hike was wonderful with a few uphills to get you sweating and the grounds are kept beautifully clean.
