Craft Cafe

Very nice and relaxed place in the center of Windhoek. Good quiche, juices and coffee. Highly recommend to go there for lunch or to grab a coffee.

Every time I come to Namibia I make a point to eat lunch here as often as I can. If you enjoy vegetables this is especially wonderful, as everything is always fresh and delicious. The staff are helpful with recommendations and very friendly.

A wonderful collection of Namibian handcrafted things. Very unusual products. The cafe is a.nice place for a light lunch.

Good portion for what you pay, loved the crispy edges 🥹 Not my favorite Ice cream tho. The coffee was great

The place is very nice with friendly waiters, and there is alot of crafts to view along with other shops and traditional clothes. They also have nice coffee and food at good prices.

Service was very very very slow and the food was pretty disappointing to be honest. The mozzarella sandwich was made of very processed cheese and a watery pesto that didn't taste right. Salad ingredients were not fresh. The 'health' shake made of ice cream and fruit didn't taste great either.

No menu was provided. Got confused with the fancy names and did not get what I expected as there was no menu with pictures. The Asparagus was tasty though 😋

The Craft Cafe sells beautiful and delicious food. Try their Linzer torte with cream. Delicious! The market itself has a wide variety from bead work, mateial items to a book store and many many more crafty items spread over about 3 storeys with shops outside the main building as well. The prices are marked on items and vendors are less 'pushy' than informal market places. I have visited twice and plan to go for a third time (particlaurly for the Linzer torte and to browse again). Definitely worth a visit! Ps you can walk from the Christus Kirche down to the market without much hassle. You can also walk from the market to the nearby Wernhill mall bearing in mind you'll need to cross the local taxi rank to get there.
