Craft Cottage Bahamas

Kind and welcoming customer service! Very helpful when dealing with any questions about each product. The store has everything! From coasters, jewelry, clothes, shoes, magnets, key chains, hats, post cards, etc. Definitely my favorite souvenir shop on the island ❤️

I’ve been following Craft Cottage’s page for a while and couldn’t wait to visit when I came back home. It did not disappoint! My best friend was looking for authentic Bahamian crafts to take back as gifts, and this was the perfect spot. The selection was amazing, and one of the owners greeted us so warmly — such a pleasant experience all around!

Excellent, excellent souvenir/arts and crafts store - can't recommend this spot highly enough!!! Was in the Bahamas for the first time several months ago and, after some research online, saw that this was a very highly rated spot for souvenir shopping. I was staying at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island so the shop was a bit out of the way for me, but on the last day of my trip I decided to head out and check it out anyway. From downtown Nassau I took the #10 Jitney ($1.25 fare) which basically takes you to the store's entrance, though for tourists it's probably more convenient (though more expensive) just to take a taxi. The shop is not far from Fort Montagu - on Village Rd., right off E. Bay St., about a 4 to 5 minute walk from where E. Bay St. turns into Eastern Rd, though again, the jitney goes down Village Rd. near the store's entrance. Definitely glad I made the trip! I'm not even an artsy person but was amazed how many cool, unique crafts (presumably from various local artists) were available in the shop. I wasn't necessarily even going to buy anything but ended up buying several items for myself and for family. Probably the best souvenir shop I've ever been to. There's a charming authenticity about this shop that can't be denied; will definitely be back when I return to the Bahamas in December! The Bahamian lady running the shop at the time (perhaps the owner or a manager - I'm not sure) was extremely nice and provided excellent customer service. She was clearly passionate about what she was selling and was able to provide good details about many of the items I was interested in buying. I want to point out that after making my purchases (which ended up being multiple bags worth) I was going to walk back out to the main road to catch the jitney back to downtown. This awesome lady actually went out of her way to ask around and got one of her customers to agree to drive me back into downtown Nassau. I was very touched by that and will make it a point to thank her again if she's at the store the next time I'm there. Excellent craft shop in Nassau that's a MUST-visit, even if it is a bit out of the way for your typical American tourist (like myself). But if you're interested in shopping for authentic Bahamian souvenirs - as opposed to the more generic stuff they sell at the resorts or on Bay St. - this is definitely the spot!!!

I love this beautiful & colourful Cottage. The two beautiful and never ending smiling local ladies who own it, also produced the arts & crafts that are sold at the cottage. It's a combination of creative local heritage with what is on the island. You can get all your souvenir and gifts for anyone from their shop. They are cheap, great qualities, attractives, and so beautiful. Irresistible i should say. I bought a beautiful painting and a hand painted wine glass to take back to Florida. The shop's building and it's surrounding are interesting and very welcoming. Very artistic. Ask any taxi to take u there. It's only few mins from downtown. Next to Orchard Hotel. Hurry as their crafts are sold out quickly.

The Craft Cottage is filled with handmade art and crafts produced by local Bahamian artists. It is stocked with products ranging from jewelry and ornaments to homemade candles and jams. A recommended stop for anyone visiting the Bahamas!

Absolutely beautiful, unique selection of hand crafted, authentic Bahamian jewelery, bags, hats, signs and so much more! The shop owner is so sweet and the cottage is so charming. We will make many more trips.

We visited the craft cottage Bahamas on a cruise day. It was refreshing spot to shop. Local products and producers. No pressure, helpful and super friendly owner and staff.

Beautiful souvenir shop. Each piece is unique and made and designed in the bahamas. Highly recommend visiting this place If you’re in Nassau. I’m very happy with my purchase.
