I ordered the brisket sandwich with fries. Now hands down the fries was decent not all that certain parts was seasoned certain parts was not. The brisket sandwich was not fresh at all! I immediately had to spit it out because it disturbed my palate. The Mac and cheese was decent as well just too wet. Overly wet where the bottom of the cup was just watery cheese. The jalepeno cornbread was good say the least! Also, I washed it down with a lemonade: not too bad just tasted like it was made in a hurry no love put in it!

A neighborhood go-to place. Customer service was awesome - Thank you James!!! Even if you aren’t into beer, they have other options. This is our second time here and I tried the fish for the first time. It was pretty good - both the fish and the batter. The fried chicken is consistently good. Food and drinks came out quickly. A lot of people stayed outdoors. The outdoor seating is very nice and looks comfy. We were indoors. 4 tv screens had very different shows, including TMNT and Bob Ross so it was very interesting. They also have karaoke nights (Fridays I think) which we will be back for. Sunday brunch is also an option. Saturdays have a DJ. Thank you for being our Friday night date night place!

I wish I could give them 7 stars. Food was amazing, the sauces are excellent, and the beer was on point. All that being said, there is one major issue with this place: we live 1200 miles away and cannot visit as often as we would like. We will be back next summer.

Had a lovely time here! Visiting New York we took the Staten Island ferry and I randomly found this place close to the station. The vibes are amazing, the beers are great and the food is incredible. They even let us sample the beers before choosing and you can grab some cans to go! I would definitely come back here.

Awesome service, fantastic food and just happened to drop in during happy hour. So hazy IPA $5 and insane jerk chicken wonton tacos, also not to expensive!!! Really great beers! Gotta add that the music playin’ is right in my 90s pocket! Love this place!! And its only mid-day!

Craft House (& the Kills Boro Taproom) is a Staten Island staple where you can enjoy lunch, dinner, and good vibes. During the spring and summer, the outdoor beer garden is a great place to chill and have a few beers, often accompanied by live events and music. My friend and I went here on Sunday. Corn dip was amazing. I really filled up on that. Nashville chicken was really tasty and had a good kick. It didn't look like it was gonna have a kick but it creeps up on ya. Friend got chicken and waffles and it was delicious. The sriracha maple syrup was really good and complimented the dish.

It was an average experience. Fried bar food, mac & cheese and chose to taste some ciders. The service was attentive given it was empty on a Sunday afternoon. Music selection wasn't my vibe at all but it wasn't too obnoxious. I didn't mind ordering and paying via app. You are able to adjust the gratuity although I often don't mind if it's automatically included provided the service is good. In this case, the service was pleasant. I would not go out of my way to come back. However, I do recommend it for beer / IPA lovers!

At the time when I first wrote the review that was accurate but the last time I went there which was quite a long time ago now it was so bad that I'm not going back anymore. Everything has gone downhill. The food went downhill. The prices went up. The service went downhill. The straw that really broke the camels back for me though is that not only do you have to scan a QR code to place your own order and you have to install an app to do so but then when you go to pay the bill in the same app, they add a mandatory gratuity of a minimum of 18%. I'm not paying 18% when it's not even proper table service.

Still love it here !!!! The menu has changed smaller meals which makes sense but still delicious! Kids love the chicken and waffles and we love everything ! The Mac and cheese bites soooooo good !!!! Smash burger delicious and the beer and rum punch even better !!!!

Over the past few years this place has been a hit or miss, but lately it's been a miss. The menu has changed. I used to love their Ceasar salad with blacken chicken. It was superb, but they took that off the menu. They took off all salads i believe and some apps. My husband and I were in the mood for wings so we ordered take out. It wasn't that good. Some parts of the chicken were raw, other parts were cooked. This was about the 3rd time we ordered wings from them over the past couple years where the food just has been on a decline of flavor and throughly cooked. The sauce wasn't saucin' either. It just wasn't that good as it used to be. I think it's a great bar for drinks and craft beer especially during warmer weather. I don't think I'd order food from here again.

Completely awful the interior looks like a shack and the food taste like it too. The best part of my meal was leaving. I have never had a worse burger in my life.

I don't get the chance to go out to eat a lot, but when I do it is invariable to Craft House. The food, staff and service, and vibes are all top-tier. Excellent local brews, amazing perfectly cooked comfort food that's like a hug for your soul and stomach, and great bartenders! There's nothing more I could possibly want! Right now they brought back their lamb smash burger special, and I tell you there is no finer burger in the lands. Their mainstays are all hits, too! The popcorn chicken (recommend with the pineapple habanero dipping sauce), smash burgers, chicken wonton tacos, mac & cheese, cole slaw, corn bread...there isn't a single item on the menu that I wouldn't happily devour or recommend! Did I mention the french fries? My favorite fries anywhere, bar none.

Upon arrival, you'll see the store sign say Killsboro but you're at the right place! My favorite entree was the chicken and waffles. My friend told me to try their roasted corn dip next time ! $18 Chicken and waffles= huge entree. Came with a drum leg, wing, and breast. Cooked to order and crispy. The waffle was delicious. It came with their special syrup and powdered sugar. #1 in my heart. $18 (1/2lb) brisket= okay, not dry, but not moist. Doesn't come with sauce, so ask for additional bbq if you want! Comes with 2 mini bread rolls. Sides $7 each: --Parmesan garlic fries (yummy) --collard greens (okay, not worth) --beans (sweeter side, not my preference) --jalapeño corn bread (hard and dry, not worth). Large selection of beer, good service and nice staff!You use a QR code to order and pay. There's indoor and backyard outdoor seating (benches). Nice vibe and decor.

Cute local spot with music. It's nicer to come here when there is some kind of themed night or show/event. Kinda quiet and boring on an off day though. Food and were palatable.

I loved it here. The food was was so good, especially the Mac & Cheese. The staff was really pleasant and attentive. I love that it's a whole brewery. The beer I texted had a strawberry, banana, marshmallow taste.. it was really good considering the fact that I don't drink beer. When I go back I'll have a whole glass, and try others. Also, it was really clean.

I love the bartenders, Matt in particular. The food is actually spectacular. The wings are jumbo and juicy. The vibe is great, very friendly.

Matt is such a great bartender... He makes the best drinks and makes the middle of the week passable. definitely worth a visit.

I used to love this place. And I still love the beer from the killsboro side but recently ordered to go, brisket sandwich with fries and the brisket baked beans. The beans were fine, a good portion...but the brisket sandwich was absolutely terrible. The bun was a regular burger bun basically that was grossly soggy the brisket was cold (only a 3 minute ride home) and dry. The fries were terrible they switched them from the last time I was here. These were thin, cold, unflavorful, and gross. I threw most of the food away.

We came to Crafthouse ( Killsboro Brewing Co) to try there awesome craft brew. They have an extensive array of dark beers which I happen to be a fan of. When walking in they have a large bar and ample space to sit. It was dimly lit, awesome vibe and great music playing. The hostess was really nice. We sat at the bar and the bartender was really helpful with giving us samples and recommendations. We ended up getting a sampler with 4 different dark beers. My fav was a roasted marshmallow dark beer and a dark beer with coffee and vanilla undertones. They also sell cocktails and lighter beers. Also, they sell bbq if you are hungry! Overall, Crafthouse/Killsboro is an awesome place to visit for some great beer and food. Def must try. Street Parking. (343)

Love going to craft house in the summer time! They have a really brilliant outdoor patio with a wonderfully hip mural. I almost always order their Cobb Salad (no dressing and no onions). One of my favorite salads and it's also super filling. I've also had their chicken and waffles- good choice any time! Their beer list regularly rotates with guest taps- one of my favorites was a tiramisu stout. On the weekends, they have a DJ that's spins some cool tunes and it can get a little loud. Something to keep mindful of just in case you're looking for a place that is a bit more quiet.

I recently came here on a Saturday afternoon with my girlfriend and some friends. We were in the mood for some good BBQ as well as some beers, and this place looked like the perfect spot. I have been here once before, but didn't eat the last time; only tried their beers before. So I was looking forward to having their BBQ food this time around. We got here pretty early on a Saturday, and had no issues getting a table. Started out ordering a round of beers. I went with their Oktoberfest brew, since it was October and the perfect time to try out this seasonal brew. It was awesome. I also tried their Island Vibes IPA, and I enjoyed this one too. We then started out with some appetizers to split between us. We ordered brisket baked beans craft nachos, pineapple habanero wings, and a side of pickles. The nacho platter was so good. Loved the brisket mixed into it, and was the perfect app choice. The wings were great too, not too spicy and perfect sweet heat. After chilling for a bit, we then ordered some more food. I split a pulled pork sandwich and a brisket sandwich, with my girlfriend, and also tried the sweet potato fries. Both of these sandwiches were amazing. You can tell everything was fresh. The brisket is top notch, and was my favorite here out of everything we tried. Definitely get something with Brisket on it. The pulled pork and fries also hit the spot. Its fun to split multiple bbq items to try out. Overall, this is a must stop at place for some great BBQ and great craft beers! Highly recommended!

We were told to seat ourselves and that we can either order using a QR code or tell the bartender what we wanted. The menu they have online is not the same as in person. I came for two specific things on the old menu and one happened to be vegan. The new menu has two vegan sides which were fries and pickles. Very disappointing. We ordered the Jr burger, brisket sandwich, Mac & cheese and baked beans. The food took awhile to come out and the food wasn't worth the wait. The burger was ok. The brisket was very good. The Mac and cheese was mush and didn't taste good. The baked beans were edible.

The craft beer here is amazing! The food too! Pulled pork Mac is sooo good! This place is great but going with good company makes it even better! They even have hooks under the bar for your purse or bag they really thought of everything. Love love love this place!

Not greasy food and perfect size -mini review from mini yelper Great small local watering hole for the neighborhood. I'm not sure what this was before it was converted into a bar/brewery/restaurant. We shared a bacon cheeseburger with fries. It was the perfect portion for 1.5 people. We asked for the burger medium well it came out well charred. With all the toppings and ketchup it was fine. The handful of fries that the was supposed to come with the burger was more like half a plate. Someone back there must have huge hands. They have three tv screens running ny1. Might make a return trip soon.

Loved the BBQ and baked beans were awesome. Service was friendly and wasn't super busy when we were there. Glad we stopped in!

The beauty of this place is that it hits every single criteria to be great. Food is Amazing. Staff is super friendly and helpful Service is impeccible Decor is nice They have outside seating! The barbecue is perfectly done and smoked like you are down south! The drinks are expertly crafted. They have a huge selection of their own house made beers and a very thoughtful selection of outside beer. I have been here multiple times and never even a slight disappointment. Definitely a keeper!

This is a gem hidden in Staten Island! We came around 9pm as a group of 7. Our waitress notified us that because they do make everything fresh everyday they were out of some stuff, we were disappointed initially. At the end we were all pretty happy with our choices. We tried the chicken and waffles, Mac n cheese, pulled pork, pineapple habanero wings, fried chicken sandwich, and fried shrimp. The glaze/syrup on the chicken and Waffles was amazing, a good balance between spicy and sweet, I couldn't stop thinking about the waffles for a couple of days, not to mention the chicken pieces were HUGE. The pineapple habanero wings were great, not too spicy and lots of flavor. They have a huge selection of drinks and a lot of beers on draft. They also brew some of their own from what it looks like.. there's a window to what looks like a brewery in the back. I've had better Mac n cheese and fries elsewhere but no big complaints about that. I'll definitely be back here to try everything else!

Craft House (Killsboro Brewery) is a rustic looking place with a bar that sits about 7 or 8 people and high top/window bar seats on one side and tables/window bar seats on the other. You can see the beer vats through glass on the opposite side of the. They had about 18 beers on tap and more in cans. All from the brewery. I had a beer called "Mozzarella". An Italian Pilsner. It was very good. They had a decent little wine list for a brewery. Though they were out of cab sav, wifey enjoyed the Pinot noir. We ate pulled pork egg rolls and Louisiana bbq shrimp which were both delicious. I like when you can scan the code on the bill and pay with your phone. Prices were fair. Not the greatest neighborhood but that really doesn't bother me. 4 stars it is!

Poor quality control. I would not and do not want to see the kitchen in this place. The fries and onion rings were good. Being that you don't need to keep fries or onion rings fresh, it is understandable as to why they were good. While the pulled pork on the sandwich was clearly made 3-4 days prior. The "jumbo" wings were cooked well, but the quality and freshness of the meat was distasteful. Poor job overall, I would give one star but it is someone's livelihood. My suggestion, smaller portions and better quality. Also, clean out the freezer please.

This place is all around great. From the fact that they have an outside part(too cold to experience that right now) to the inside decor! I love an interior that sparks a conversation because it has a unique twist. The owner, staff were hospitable and legit respectful and cool! The food isn't what I call bar food, it's what you would get a restaurant and that was a plus. The green beans had onions and cheese on it, first off, who thought about something like that except a person who knows capture tastebuds! The food was great! I must mention the staff, I wish I could element their names, I know they were so attentive they were tipped great! I would definitely go again!

I liked this place. Good selection of beers. We brought the kids and decided to sit in the outdoor portion....which is designed very nicely with lounges and picnic tables. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We tried the brisket and chicken with waffles, which was really good. The kids had burgers of course as always. Everyone really liked the nacho corn dip appetizer. The only issue was it's located in a sketchy block by the ferry...but this is part of the area revitalization and hopefully there is more improvements in the surrounding area, which is walking distance from the ferry.

Craft House is a great destination for beer, food, sports and general good atmosphere. It's located on the fringe of the downtown - more of a residential section actually. There are about 10 draught beers served and a healthy bottle list as well. The food menu has a good selection and the quality looks very good. There are high def TVs sprinkled around the rooms for sports viewing. The best thing I found here was a friendly and fun atmosphere.

Glad I stopped by to craft house! Randomly decided to take a trip over the Staten Island ferry and this was one of the stops when I got there. The kitchen is closed from 4-5 (just FYI) or at least it was the day we went. Food: I got the fried chicken sandwich. And although the fried chicken didn't taste the best, the sauces they provide gave it an extra boost to make me enjoy the meal. The fries were good and the Coleslaw was even tasty (that rarely happens!). And omg the best part was the red velvet waffle ice cream sandwich!! I was so full but ate the whole thing. YUM!!! Drink: they have a pretty extensive beer list! I stuck with something typical and girlie (allagash white). It was good. But there's definitely a huge selection. Service: or waitress was really good! Atmosphere: we sat outside until it got too cold. They have a picnic table feel outside. It felt like you were in someone's backyard. Pretty cool in general. Inside looks like a typical bar. If I'm ever back in Staten Island I'll definitely try to stop by again! Did I mention the red velvet ice cream sandwich was amazing?!

Great brews and great BBQ! An amazing place that really shows what Staten Island has to offer. We've been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. Home to Kills Boro Brewing, there's always a great beer selection - drafts of their own, rotating guest taps and plenty of bottles and cans. For most drafts, you can get a 6 oz pour for $4 or $5 Great appetizers to try: rib tips and roasted corn dip.

Finally got to the Crafthouse. It is a cool spot. Bar area upon entering with seating in the back. Ordered the Louisiana Shrimp & Hot Broccoli. Grabbed a sour beer -- delicious- with a friend who had the brisket sandwich. Relaxed vibe with a brewery in the back! Great beer! Come thru.

Delivery (in the times of Covid)review: We have been quarantined at home since March (it's May) with a lovely break to go deliver my Baby and come home with no support BC Covid quarantine. Hubby and I were on our way home from a really sad "meet the grands" meeting that had to take place outside with everyone wearing masks and no hugs. We really needed a pick-me-up! Cue ordering from Craft House. We got the BBQ bundle and a 4-pack. The meat we got was brisket (great flavor and texture), ribs (good texture and flavor), and fried chicken (has great flavor texture suffered from delivery process). Sides; collards (good flavor with the pork), coleslaw (well thought out and I liked it even though I'm not a fan usually), herbed fries (again crispness suffered from delivery). Last but not least the 4-pack of Steel Man, so good. It's $55 for the bbq bundle, we had some qualms with amount of food but agree that the quality is amazing. If you have 4 big hungry people I'm not sure this will suffice, especially the sides and bbq sauce containers. It was plenty for my husband and myself with some of the brisket, ribs, and fries left over. There would have been no beer left over, it was that good, but hammered and newborn don't go together. We look forward to a quarantine lift so that we can get the grands to babysit and come here for a date night. Here's to hoping.

I've wanted to come here for happy hour for a while but could never get the time it starts and stops. I was there on a Monday and it ran from 5-7pm weekdays and closed Tuesday. I really enjoyed sampling a mix of the menu since they have a good happy hour but I probably wouldn't go any other time then happy hour. There was 2 of us and were stuffed after the 4 plates we shared. Which were: -the Corn Dip which was delicious and it looked small but we barely polished off half. $5 happy hour -Bacon cheeseburger sliders 2 per order, didn't appear greasy and really enjoyed. $5 happy hour -Diablo Shrimp skewers 2 per order shrimp and slivered jalapeño wrapped in bacon and grilled. $12 not on happy hour menu. Jalapeño adds nothing and $12 for 4 little shrimp seems a bit much but tasted fine, just fine. -1/4 order of dry rib Ribs $6, talk about fall off the bone! A really nice size order and price can't be beat. Yum. Ordered a Smoky Margarita, it tasted weird and had a bug in the glass. No prob it happens I mentioned it to the waitress she replaced it with the Blood Orange Cider on the happy hour menu which I really enjoyed. There was only 1 waitress for the restaurant so service moved very slowly. It took awhile for the drinks to come and I had to ask for more water a few times before I got it. But I understand how busy she was. It's a little scuzzy, sticky and ripped booths where I even spotted a rib bone in the bench. It's a bar in a bad neighborhood the scuzz is kinda part of the charm

Come here for the craft beers but stay for the food. Corn dip. Corn dip. Corn dip. One of the best apps on the menu. IPAs and Sours are ridiculous. Best brewery on the island by far. Hot Chicken sandwich and Chicken and Waffles are great choices for mains.

been there 3 times, each time more pathetic than the last. This place has some of the worst god damned food I have ever eaten, from burnt brisket to over seasoned chicken to just garbage service. Yeah, they redid the decor and the 5 of us in the entire place took notice for a hot second but in all honesty the owners should sell off their shiny stills cut the electric and call it a night. The drinks suck, the staff was undertrained and god forbid you ask them to slightly customize an order for a child you get a "it only comes this way, it's the only way we know how to make it" def. not michellan star material. I could care less for the pretentious wanna be brooklyn hipster craft beer crap and their bartenders couldn't make a decent cocktail to save their lives. do yourselves a favor. follow my 3 strike rule and don't go there. I will never waste my time in this well decorated dumpster fire of a restaurant/brewery. Go buy a 6 pack at a bodega and support a local business worth your money, this place isn't it.

I came here a few years ago with my daughter and her boyfriend, I had the chicken and waffles which was pretty good. I came here again yesterday with my husband and I had the brisket and ribeye burger and sweet potato fries...all I can say is OMG!!! Everything was delicious! Oh and I had a bourbon cherry lemonade which was just as good as it sounds! They gave us samples of different beers as well and I had one that tasted just like an orange creamsicle. I'll definitely be back for more!

Food was amazing and service was great. We were seated right away and our waiter was very polite. He provided food and drink recommendations. We order the mac and cheese, shrimp & grits, and the chicken & waffles. Everything was at least 2 serving size and extremely delicious. I will be going back!!

Great place to hang out with friend. Three pages of beer selections and great food. They have happy hour and an outdoor patio but too cold to sit outside. Pineapple Habanero wings are my favorite. The slider and corn dip are ok. Fish and chips are juicy with a crispy battered. The Beef Brisket were a little too fatty for me but it was good. The ribs were delicious, the meat just comes off the bone. Jalapeño corn bread is another must have item.

Man, their beef brisket sandwich was the bomb. The meat was super tender and flavorful, it was a good amount for the price. My order also came with a crap load of fries, so I was really full by the end of my meal. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles and we were surprised how big the chicken pieces were. The chicken was so freaking good, it was seasoned really well. The waffles were fluffy and argh, I can't wait to order it myself. There was no wait and we got seated right away. The prices were average. I found a bit pricy considering how it was in Staten Island and it was in middle of nowhere. I was also a bit confused about their happy hour. On yelp picture (from 11/2015), it shows that happy hour was M-F from 5PM to 8PM. When we arrived at 6:15PM, the bartender mentioned that happy hour was over..... Meh, I never heard of an happy hour ending before 6:30PM......I guess their happy hour menu has changed.

If I could give 0 stars that is what this place deserves but I am subject to 1 being the worst option. Firstly, The menu does not describe the ingredients and what is in each dish/burger/salad making it very hard to order. The pork egg roll appetizer were dry like sand paper. The restaurant was out of corn for the southwest salad, so they could not make it. Upon ordering the bacon burger they do not give an option for American cheese. I ordered it medium it came out well done and had absolutely no flavor at all. Absolute terrible food and would never return. The service was also very mediocre. Worst place on Staten Island!!! Save your money!!! Anyone who gave this place 5 stars must not of being in a sober state.

Really cool place to hand if you're craving wings and beer. Friendly staff and they have out doors sitting. The chicken and waffles are on point.

The beer at craft house was excellent! The group ordered most of the appetizers on the menu so I got to pick from rib tips, nachos and fries Mac and cheese bites. It was all delicious. I ordered the craft burger which was very good. The service was excellent which I was surprised in Staten Island. I came on a rainy day but that didn't stop other patrons from coming. I'll definitely be back

Honey Hole in Staten Island. Visiting from California for a work event and this was a perfect spot for some great bar food and specialty cocktails. Island Vibes Hazy IPA was my favorite beer on tap. BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. And never miss a moment of the game with TVs in both rooms. Plus: they had an outside area that is perfect for summer time.
