It’s a good place to buy souvenirs. It’s quite expensive but if you have patience to negotiate it might be worth it. Every store has more or less the same stuff. I found out that if you’re looking for paintings, this place has great variety..from basic quality and techniques to some advanced detailed ones for very good price to compare it with other places in Kampala CBD.

There's absolutely every reason for any local or foreign tourist around Kampala to pass by this store. Whatever kind of craft you might think about, chances are that you'll find it at an affordable price. Quality is at its best, and customer care is equally outstanding. I advise you make a phone call to avoid getting lost since there are many shops selling similar stuff, though the other small shops will most likely overcharge you. Kudos to this team for the amazing work

I agree that the vendors can be sometimes aggressive but assure them that you will take a look at their store too and they all calm down. ;) I loved this market and the people in it. They were reasonable and it had unique stuff that was of quality.

The market is huge! I did not realise that from the outside. There are three similar segments and after exploring one of them I thought I’ve seen it all.
The items on the shops are mostly similar. You can find a wide variety of items. Most of them represent the African culture.
They have a parking on the first segment only and I guess the shops in that segment are the privileged ones.
Before you buy anything, I’ll suggest you have a walk around. See what’s in there and what you want.
One tip for you, when you go there, keep it in mind, there’s always room for a bargain. Be a little shameless and try negotiating. You may do that in USD too, I find it easier.

A hug 3 sections of market to buy variety of handicrafts, woodenware, stones, colorful and beautiful place to shop. U can buy bags, sandals, show pieces, souvenirs, t-shirt dresses and allot more at a very good price. But u should be able to negotiate well there. Always a great experience to shop at the craft market

There are different shops offering a wide array of African art, jewellery, clothes and shoes. Great space for a tourist to find some beautiful artwork to take home.
