This is an awesome Sake bar. Owner is very knowledgeable, atmosphere is friendly and light, and so many options! He chatted with us and recommended so many great bottles! Best place to go if you are looking to try some good sake and have a great time with good people! Highly recommend!!

A fantastic hidden gem in Yokohama 💎 The bar’s regulars blend with visitors to create a fun, casual experience over sake from small breweries around Japan. It’s also a lovely language pocket for English-speaking visitors and Japanese locals wanting to practice their English. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about the sake they acquire and, if both people are present, can answer questions in either English or Japanese. Brian was an excellent host. So much knowledge on sake, and so willing to share his knowledge. We tasted quite a few different sake, and he dialed in what we preferred, then so us so variants too. He also does small plates of food which were very taste. His passion for sake is immense. Really worth a visit. Also, being an expat American, his English is perfect.

An amazing experience — I discovered different types of sake, and the owners are absolutely lovely. If you’re in Yokohama, it’s one of the most interesting places to visit. I highly recommend it.

Hidden Gem Sake University away from the crowded touristy Tokyo scene . We grilled Brian with gizzilion questions regarding the Art of Sake Distillation. He calmly answered all of our questions while pouring and explaining the difference between different bottles . What a lovely experience . Overall this is a tremendous sale bar for either novices or experts alike. It is a lovely standing bar with extremely knowledgeable staff in all things sake. If you are looking for a respective English speaking friendly bar in the area for unique well priced sale, this is the best spot to choose!
