This place is fantastic. Our grandson turned four this past week, and he *loves* trains, and so we booked a ride here at Craggy Mountain Line. We got checked in for the ride. They have other train cars and memorabilia to explore while you wait. We got underway, and the staff told us a little about the trolley itself, as well as a bit about the area we were riding through. Our grandson got to ring the bell! The staff is great and we had a wonderful time.

Really nice ride, after Helene the tracks where replaced, it's almost 4 miles one out, make sure to take something to drink, there's no water or bathroom facilities at the out bound stop Silver-park. Asheville and the surrounding towns are doing a great job on the recovery...

The family and I had a great time. Wounded Warrior Project hosted a Christmas event there. Kids got to see Santa, and the staff really went out of their way. The 40s themed trolly train ride was very enjoyable. Thank you, Craggy & WWP for such a great event.

We had a great time doing a private ride on a Monday for our group of 10. We especially enjoyed that the small children in our group could get up and walk around. The staff was awesome.

We enjoyed our trip on the trolley. All of the guys were awesome, but we really enjoyed having Cody on our trolley. John was super friendly and told us all about some of the trains out in the yard. Highly recommend Craggy Mountain Line.

We rode the rails yesterday with a group of 10, aged 7 mos to 69 years. We were most impressed by their customer service - they contacted the entire "trolley-load" after finding a lost object and then THEY called US to arrange a pickup during closed hours. The experience and museum itself was quaint but enjoyable, with an old-timey feel and a cute little gift shop. An unexpected "diamond in the rough" activity so close to Asheville.

Yelp
This was such a fun little adventure with our 1 and 4 year old train lovers! They had a blast looking at all the sights and the pirate park we stopped at for a little bit was well loved as well. It's advertised as 2 hours but was only about 1.5 (30 min ride out, 30 Min at park and 30 min back). The crew was great and super friendly!

Yelp
We met Rocky on a Tuesday (they are normally closed) and he was so kind and welcoming! he opened up some of the train cars so my son could take a look and play. They have a model train set AND a train table so kids have a place they can touch, right next to a looking only place. Cool for older kids too, great history/ timeline on the train lines through the blue ridge pkwy. Super kind and friendly folks, little gem. They are offering private charter trolly rides at this time.

Yelp
Such a wonderful little excursion! Riding on old trolley tracks through the forest and then by the French Broad River. Very affordable! Super friendly and courteous staff! People should come out and support this local gem!
