We had a wonderful afternoon tea today, sat at a table right by the river! The service was exceptional (they remembered to make a space, and set a place, for a wheelchair user, which we'd advised of, when we booked - it makes a huge difference to know that thought and care is there!) 😊 The food was excellent. Very well presented and it all tasted delicious. The lemon sponge was very light and had a good taste of lemon, the home made profiteroles had plenty of filling, the scones were slightly warm and the home made blackcurrant jam was very good. We had a lovely afternoon and would highly recommend the afternoon tea! It was also super relaxing, sat in the window seat by the river 😊

An amazing hotel with a fantastic team.|We've just returned from a Saturday night stay as part of a large group. The hotel team couldn't have been more welcoming and the hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms are large, well presented and spotlessly clean. Great food and a lovely setting to relax.|Thank you so much for an amazing stay, we hope to be back.

Fabulous service and location with the added bonus of being super dog friendly.||||Reception staff were very lovely, they were welcoming, chatty and helpful. My room and bathroom were a good size, especially great as I had my dogs with me. It had all the usual amenities and a super powerful hot shower. ||||Breakfast was lovely, the breakfast room was immaculate with super views of the river and hills. Gardens are well kept with lots of lovely walks along the river. ||||Will definitely be returning.

What an absolutely fabulous hotel. The whole stay from beginning to end was amazing. Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The staff are amazing . They couldn't be more friendly and helpful. I'm a vegan and they went out of their way to make it easy for me!! The view from our room was incredible, the bed so comfortable and the food great. It's also a great base for North Wales! I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We returned to this lovely hotel and it was as fantastic as our first visit.||The hotel sits on the side of the river with stunning views and amazing nearby walks meaning there is no need to use the car unless you want to travel further afield.||The family room we booked was extremely spacious with a separate bedroom for the children. Whilst we only travelled with one teenager it would work equally well for a family with younger children.||The hotel is extremely dog friendly and Max enjoyed everything about his stay, from the throw and bonio left on the bed to the fuss from Mark and Michelle. The throw shows how dog friendly this hotel is and is large enough that is covers the whole bed so you don’t have to worry if you dog decides it wants to jump onto the bed.||The food is outstanding, we had dinner bed and breakfast for the 2 nights we were staying and all meals were exceptional, could not fault a thing.||Looking forward to another visit already.

The hotel is lovely, welcoming and attentive staff.|We picked the hotel based on location, as it was very near to where we were climbing the next day.|A few bonuses were that the room was a good size as was the bathroom, the shower was powerful and easy to adjust the temperature, hot chocolate in the room. |Best of all was that there is EV charging on site, this is paid for, but it was a fair price.|The bed was very comfortable with some nice pillows.|Breakfast was the standard fare with Full Welsh, buffet as well as other choices from the menu. I can recommend the overnight oats.

Lovely informal country house hotel right next to the River Conwy. Perfect location for exploring the area. We would most definitely return. ||The outstanding feature about this hotel, apart from the stunning riverside location, is the staff, all of whom were excellent. Michelle was everywhere with a broad smile and laugh, while Anna, Dale and Marc were very, very pleasant and helpful. |Our room was large, with a small balcony (top floor - I think balconies on lower floors are larger), spotlessly clean, well decorated and furnished, and the bed super comfortable. Oh, and wonderfully quiet. Bathroom likewise spotlessly clean with an in-bath shower. ||Breakfasts were excellent, with some of the best Kippers I’ve ever eaten (I had them six out of ten mornings!), while the dinners were of a very high standard indeed, with a good selection of wines starting at about £28 a bottle. We had four dinners and could not find fault with either the food, or the service. ||The only negative aspect of our ten day stay was the piped music which pervades the ground floor public areas and dining room. The volume was too high, and it was anyway not necessary in such a lovely peaceful place. Especially in the mornings! On the other hand, one of the high spots of our stay was a performance at a wedding reception at the hotel by a local male voice choir (Cor Meibion Ardudwy?), guaranteed to raise the goosebumps on this expat Welshman!||Overall we had a really enjoyable stay, and would return without hesitation.

Friendly hotel in a wonderful setting next to the rocky Conwy River with its private riverbank grounds. Stayed one night but saw dippers, grey wagtails, mergansers and kingfisher on many occasions. Very comfortable well equipped room. Dinner at 2AA rosette restaurant was excellent with table in conservatory looking over the river. Some road noise in daytime but very quiet after 7pm. Very comfortable beds.
