I was surprised the restaurant is in the cellar, but the atmosphere is really nice. You will see a ‘hundred pages’-menu, with varieties of food. We ordered a soup, grilled pork, spicy beef, side dishes like potatoes and mushrooms. They are in big portions and are very tasty. Service here is also great.

Never had such a good meal!!! The meat is simply so delicious and the vegetables are very tasty. Every time I’m in Sibiu I want to eat only here. Very recommended. The atmosphere is unique too!

Great food and very friendly service. The restaurant was very busy so the wait time was quite long, but it was well worth it. The beef filet and the mutton stew were the winners of the main courses, but the real star was the dessert of ice cream dumpling with pear.

The food is amazing if you are looking for great traditional dishes. I ve been here with my friends and we had a wonderful time. The waiters are fun and friendly so they create an outstanding experience. Overall the food is great the staff is nice and you can also find some vegan dishes.

This was a spot a bit more hidden in a side alley, but very easy to find. Going downstairs felt a bit spooky though, but that feeling was quickly replaced by a homey atmosphere.
The servers instantly greeted us at the door and everything felt very traditional. The food was super good and the prices were fair and okay as well.

The day before we were in Timisoara - and went into top 5 traditional restaurants- nothing to compare with this one. Not even close.
Definitely your top spot for traditional cuisine.
Waiters a bit doing monkey business, but overall its VERY good.

To us, the place (mainly the food) was overrated.
If you are from the North-Western side of the country, you are used to this food but with more and better taste.
Tried the polenta with cheese, mashed potatoes and chicken liver. They were kinda good, but the expectations were far higher from such a traditional place.
The desserts were also ok, but not above the 3 stars rating.
The waiter is worth five stars though. Very friendly and assertive.
