Google
This was a very informative excursion. Andrea explained each phase of a bog's life, and we learned about their business. We also met 2 of her pups and were able to purchase some products at the end of the tour. Bring cash as no cards are accepted.

Google
It was very interesting and informative. I absolutely hated the stinky, musty bus, but everything else was great. When we boarded the bus, the front seat behind the driver was empty, but I thought, no, there's a solid wall, we won't be able to see anything. WRONG. That was the only good seat on the bus. I could have seen out the door, and had some fresh air. But no. Sad. It was raining so none of the windows were clear enough to see through, let alone take pictures. I finally moved so that I could take some pictures because we were on the left side of the bus, but the tour goes clockwise around the bog. It was a long time in that bus. I wish we could have gotten out at the stops instead of just sitting there breathing carbon monoxide. The dog was super sweet and cute, though. Once we were able to escape our stinky prison, the presentation in the shed was amazing. I mean, really really good. We learned so much about cranberries! I ate my first raw cranberries, which I had always been told would be bitter and nasty, but were frozen and delicious. She also passed around freshly dried, sweetened cranberries, also yum, and a round of refreshing freezer pops. If I hadn't been tortured to sit in that stinky bus for an hour, this would totally be a five star review. I just can't get past being trapped in there for that long. It was unacceptable. A note about admission. There's a question below about purchasing tickets in advance. You pay when you get there, but you do need reservations, so call at least a day in advance.

Google
I will never look at the cranberry sauce on my Thanksgiving table the same again. Who knew there was so much hardwork that goes on behind the scenes just to get cranberry sauce?? The tour was very informative and Andrea was great!! She is very knowledgeable and eloquent at articulating all the work that goes along with cranberry bogs to make it fun. Teddy and Riley were great tour hosts as well! We even got a taste test of their craisins. You do need to call ahead to reserve spots for the tour. It is $15/person. I was told to use the directions on their website to get to the farm since Googlr GPS brings you to a different location. However, my GPS did bring me to the farm correctly. A fun thing to do while visiting the cape. Don't miss out!

Google
One of the BEST things to do on Cape! So informative, interesting, funny (she has great stories!), and welcoming. And Ted (the yellow lab) is the BEST. We did get to meet Murray (a border collie) briefly. Gorgeous location. Lots of animals- dogs (aforementioned), sheep, goats, chickens, and an elusive cow, Stella. Wonderful shop at the end. Make reservations!

Google
Fun, informative family-run cranberry farm tour. The tour was about 90 minutes and you can buy cranberry products (cash only) after the tour. The couple that runs the farm is so friendly and funny, we had such a great time! It was also fun to see all the animals

Google
Very nice tour. It’s a family farm. There are animals everywhere to include dogs so if you don’t like dogs it’s not for you. The dogs are very friendly. The tour is about 90 minutes and informative. The woman who gives the tour is great. We enjoyed ourselves. There is a small shop at the end of the tour. Everything is cash only.

Google
Leo and Andrea are incredible farmers and guides. This place is the real deal! I buy their dried cranberries and use them year round in my granola bar recipe. Everyone gets a taste of the best on the cape!

Google
This was the highlight of our week on the Cape. Our guide was knowledgeable, entertaining and professional and there were doggos along on the tour. We learned a lot about Cranberry production and got a sample. So fun! For sure book ahead as this is very popular.

Yelp
We had a great time discovering how cranberries go from from bog to table. We hadn't known the bogs are dry most of the year and they don't wear waders like on TV. The tour was accompanied by the farm's dogs. Who provided a bit of the unexpected. A lot of fun.

Yelp
I dislike leaving less than stellar reviews, but I couldn't recommend doing a bog tour here. Your experience in different weather may vary wildly. There's a lot of interesting and good information, and I liked the people. But.... The first half of the tour is in an old mini bus. The bus has tiny windows, like 4" square, and no air circulation. No fans. No air conditioning. Today was nearly 90 out by 10 am, when our tour started, and temperatures inside the bus got so hot that stepping out felt cool! You don't travel far, and then they stop for 10 minutes to talk about what's out the window. It's brutal. Ironically, the travel distances are so slim most people could walk it. But, just sitting on the bus in the heat? Yuck. The second half is in an old shed where you learn about harvesting. Again, it could be interesting, but it's a good 10° hotter, even with the fans going, and it makes it hard to focus. Or even listen. Better weather would have helped. But, we had an old lady in our tour group nearly pass out, and the guide indicated that that was not uncommon. Heck, complimentary water would be nice. Waters are a dollar. The tour is fifteen. It's all cash only.

Yelp
Super informative and well done tour! Highly recommended! Bus tour on a working farm with lots of live animals. Owner gave a captivating tour. A great way to spend a morning! Time well spent. Especially for animal lovers. Learn the fundamentals of sustainable organic farming. Just an absolute joy to go on. Very entertaining!

Yelp
I probably wouldn't have sought this place out on our own but we visited as part of a tour group. The proprietors are very friendly and took us into their indoor work area for a presentation about growing cranberries, before we walked outside to see the bogs and lake that serves as their water source. Keep in mind that depending on the time of year, you won't necessarily see cranberries. There is a little gift shop where you can buy dried cranberries, cookies and other items. They have mannequins standing in a bog because that's what people are used to seeing from commercials. They also had two friendly dogs that loved running around the property. This was a unique experience and worth the time.

Terri T.

Yelp
Lousy customer service! Tours are not offered daily. We were told to call back day after day before ultimately being told it would be better to wait until October or November to take a tour.

Yelp
I noticed that they changed their name- good thing because originally they listed themselves as a Cranberry Bog Tour. That was a only 2 weeks ago. My review was going to be ruthless because they led folks to believe that it was a working farm- Which it is not- it WAS many years ago but there is not a cranberry to be found. To take $20 a head for such a tour was a rip off. There are a few cranberry bogs on the Cape and near and in Plymouth that I would suggest if your looking for a working cranberry bog tours- one being Annie's Crannies in Dennis.

Yelp
Heartfelt, honest and charming, Andrea is a gem. We had the tour to ourselves as all the others that day cancelled. A little golf cart ride around the property punctuated by the occasional "Marty, NO!" As the lovely dogs careened happily around us. Informative (crane-berry) and entertaining she outlines a year of grueling work, patience and care it takes to run a cranberry bog and keeping it organic. The multitude of animals ( dogs, horses, ducks, geese, goats, a cranky cow and a psychotic peacock) are all well loved and cared for. She ends with a sweet gift shop and a new appreciation for the tart lil cranberry. She's planning a BnB so keep an eye out. The nearby pond and general bonhomie is sure to attract. Would return in the fall for wet harvest season and definitely recommend.

Yelp
What a fun surprise!!! The owner of the farm does the tours and she's loaded with facts and personality. A great price for this tour, be sure to call for reservations.

Yelp
Andrea is a great tour guide. She's extremely knowledgeable and farms all year round. Great farm with sweet animals. And lots to see and learn about the cranberry process itself. Highly recommend to anyone is coming out here on the Cape to visit.

Yelp
Probably the most unexpected great time we've had on a whim. Andrea was very nice & so knowledgeable. Her doggie friends accompanied us throughout the tour & were also amazing tour guides. I'm glad we learned about the real hard work that goes into cranberry harvesting. My daughter (22), husband & I really had a fabulous time. Totally worth the trip!

Yelp
Visited today for a tour and drove 1.5 hours to the location and 2 hours back to tour the cranberry bog/farm. The tour side was awesome and she was a ball...lots of jokes and you can tell she's a pro! very insightful and great explanation. Highly recommend

Yelp
So glad we did this! There are many different things to do when on the Cape, but changing your paradigm about an industry is not the first to come to mind. The Ocean Spray commercials are hogwash and this tour will put you on the path to knowledge. A nice mix of history, social commentary and practical knowledge. Who knew that cranberries bounce and the good ones are veritable track stars leaping over 7 hurdles to get to the finish line!?! It was a rainy day, so we toured in an old school bus - quite cozy. On a nice day I can imagine walking the bogs or cruising around in their over sized golf cart. Our kids, a tweener and a precocious 8yo were engaged most of the time. Yes, lots of animals (sheep, goats, ducks, geese and cows), but this tour is probably not for little ones. Tour ends with the typical gift shop stop, but it's no pressure and fairly priced. The cranberry chocolates are divine! What is reasonable on the Cape for activities? I have lost complete sense of reality sometimes, but $15 for adults and $10 for kids is not out of line for 90 minutes of edu-tainment. Our tour guide (I think Andrea?) was great and even recommended a new breakfast joint!

Heather M.

Yelp
We took a last minute trip up to cape cod and planned our trip daily ( not in advance) and was lucky to have found this bog tour! Our guide is the owner and so willing to share her vast knowledge of their organic farm and bog farming in general. The owner had a great personality, so engaging, friendly and funny. She gave us personal insights and it was clear she loved every aspect of the "life" of the cranberry! It was more enjoyable than we could have imagined and a must do in the Harwich area.

Yelp
Great find if clouds hinder your visit to Cape Cod. The tour is about 90 minutes and you definitely get a great overview of the cranberry process. Andrea is incredibly informative and really gives you a sense of all the hard work that goes into the farm. If you are expecting a scene from the Ocean Spray commercials, you will certainly get an education. $15 per adult might be a little much but when you are hard up for activities to do with an infant on the Cape, it is a good stop. PS Be sure to follow her directions on the website and ditch the GPS!

Yelp
A fun and informative tour of how a cranberry bog works year round. On this organic cranberry farm you are shown how they utilize Mother Nature to help make their farm successful. Lots of animals help out, so if you have allergies, be prepared. Overall a terrific experience. Would recommend it to anyone visiting (and locals too)

Yelp
Pro Tip: you have to have a reservation to see anything on the property, including the farmer stand.

Yelp
I must admit I wasn't enthusiastic about visiting an organic cranberry bog on our bus tour but it turned out to be a fantastic experience. We were greeted by Leo and his wife Andrea, owners, and their lovely dogs. There were 55 of us and they handled us so well. Some of us walked to the presentation shed and others took the shuttle. There are lovely animals like goats, horses, a cow, ducks, a huge turkey, a peacock etc and they all play a role in the production. They normally wander freely on the bog but were in pens with all of us there. Andrea is a lovely hilarious hostess full of jokes, presented a wonderful talk shared by Leo. Andrea even went to get a one week old baby goat and brought him in for all of us to pet. Adorable. Highly recommend this place. We learned a lot about cranberries and the growing of them. They have a cash only little gift shop very reasonably priced with everything cranberry there. Very friendly folks. Well worth the stop.

Yelp
Of course I expected that we would be seeing a bog like the Ocean Spray commercials so when we first arrived I was a little disappointed but the tour ended up being great. The lady/owner of the bog gave us a nice tour around her property in a red converted mini school bus which was cool. She has lots of animals on property such as goats, horses, chickens, etc which made my kids day and kept them interested. It was very informative and I felt like I knew after the tour was over how complicated it truly is to operate a cranberry bog. I also learned that the ocean spray commercials are not really typical of how a bog looks on a day to day basis. Next time I take a sip of cranberry juice I will have a greater appreciation for what I am drinking. Oh and this is also a fully certified organic bog.

Yelp
This is a terrific little tour, about an hour and a half, where you really get to learn about organic cranberry farming. It's very interesting, don't expect Ocean Spray commercial, but you will learn about the origins of white cranberry juice, among other things.

Ben H.

Yelp
I've been visiting Cape Cod since I was a kid (in the 1960s) and I have to admit I've never had such a wonderful experience. My wife and I took a large group of our wedding guests to visit the bog and farm and everyone had a amazing time. During the tour you will learn more about cranberries, farming and Cape Cod than you ever dreamed possible. Hint - We would recommend asking Andrea to give you her tour. She is incredible -- very knowledgeable, articulate, entertaining and a great group leader!

Karmen S.

Yelp
Well worth the time and money! This is a family owned and operated business, so don't expect a corporate-style tour. The tour was relaxed and entertaining; Andrea was a great guide. The tours sell out daily, so make sure to call ahead. Bring cash- they don't accept cards!

Yelp
Such a fun and informational tour!! This is a family run organic cranberry bog where they walk you through the whole process of growing and harvesting cranberries. If you are imagining the Ocean Spray commercial with the flooded bog and the men in waders, this only happens a few days out of the year and will not happen on your tour! There are samples and lots of fun products for purchase at the end! Loved this tour and would visit again!

Linda B.

Yelp
Interesting & informative tour with Andrea around the farm & cranberry bogs. It is fascinating to learn what all goes into organic farming. I'll never look at the $5.00 bag of organic cranberries the same again.

C B.

Yelp
Andrea was a wonderful guide and showed her love for the cranberry bog business. I enjoyed the tour, however, it isn't for children under 7. My children were uninterested and a little restless on the bus which took away from my experience. It was very interesting to have all my perceptions of the cranberry bog business blown out of the water. I would definitely recommend this tour. Also, her chocolate chip cranberry cookies were amazing!!!! I wish I would've bought more than 2!

Ramona H.

Yelp
We felt lucky to have stumbled upon this family farm operation. We learned so much about cranberries, and have a great appreciation for how much work is involved. Andrea, the owner and tour guide is just a wealth of information, including what's involved in growing them organically (enticing bluebirds, as well as goats & sheep into your bog to eat the bugs!). We were VERY happy with the tour!
