Crane Brewing is our favorite little off the trail place to go after a beautiful ride on the Rock Island Trail. Their hopped lemonade is delicious and my husband loves the house beer. Quaint is a great word for this place. The food is good too for a snack after a bike ride. Today, the ONE person who was working a packed house by himself did a great job! No bad attitude from him even though the line was continuously out the door and every table was full. We will be back but please get your guy some help!!

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed my favorite local place before! We’ve been stopping in here for several years now. We love stopping in here after our bike rides or runs. Super convenient being located right on the Rock Island Trail in Raytown. The staff is wonderfully friendly. It has bike parking. Outdoor seating in nice weather. And now that the parking lot is getting paved, that will be so much nicer to sit outside with no dust! They keep coming up with new drink mixes and flavors, so even if you are not a beer drinker, there is something you’ll love! The wine slushees are especially tasty on a hot summer day!

Breweries are my jam! So when I found out Crane had their own, I had to come! I love the homeyness this brewery gives! Tried their Vast Lands at a Hyvee, & fell in love instantly! I mean obsessed with the beer! I made the mistake of thinking it was an IPA 🤦🏽‍♀️, however, the taste was super smooth! Now, my obsession was real because I called prior to coming to see if it was still in season. Unfortunately, it isn’t. The Blood Orange Vast Lands is just as tasty! The staff are incredible! Will definitely be coming back!

We had an excellent time at Crane. The space is small, and even more restricted due to COVID safety guidelines. The staff were masked and otherwise following safety guidelines. They do have the rolling garage doors to open it up, and they also have patio seating when the weather cooperates with each. We had three beers each, and liked them all. I've always thought Crane brewed almost exclusively sour beers, and was glad to find they have been able to expand that to accommodate other palates. We each had three beers and liked them all. We had some chips and salsa to snack on while having most of our beers; and once our order from Harp BBQ next door was ready, we brought that into Crane to enjoy with another beer. The entrance and restrooms are semi-accessible. Restrooms are gender specific. There isn't really dedicated parking, but there's plenty of street parking as this is in an underused business area.

Google
One of my favorite local places. With the staff changes or whatever is going on it's just not the same. Sure they are still super friendly but the music is often off now, the vibe is boring, and don't ask for a mixed drink anymore some of the bar tenders don't even know how to make the drinks on their menu... So hopefully they will pull it back together soon.

Located in Raytown (short drive outside of KC), you'll find an awesome, family owned brewery that offers tours, tasty drinks, food truck options, and a place to park your bicycle (right next to a trail). The beer was delicious and the tour guide was very knowledgeable & passionate. Try a slushie while you are there!

David Keiter

Google
Love the location. Good beer, but also very expensive. On top of that you serve yourself and they expect a 20% tip for them pouring the beer. Only reason I would go back is because of the trail and atmosphere. Makes it worth 1 beer.

Pitstop while riding on the Rock Island trail... GOOD beer!

Yelp
Went in and Lauren instantly greeted us. She was fun, knowledgeable and friendly. Has a few beers and cocktails and enjoyed the amazing atmosphere of great people. We will certainly be back!

Yelp
They are always out of their TNT beer and usually very limited on food options. If you're going to be the only brewery on the bike trail stock up!!!

Yelp
Had an Italian Grinder and it was very tasty. Sandwiches come with chips and pickle. Cool and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was on point.

Yelp
Our trip to Crane Brewing began on an adventurous note. A moonless night, Google maps led us down a zig-zaggy street that grew progressively darker, amongst barren buildings, until I was convinced we were being lured to our demise by some sort of Huldra worshipping Scandinavian cult. My wife bravely encouraged me to press on and, much to my relief, we arrived at the happy and well lit Crane brewpub. The first thing I noticed was the outdoor seating area facing the serene woods. Turns out the Rock Island trail passes directly in front. I would definitely go running more often if I could get a refreshing IPA halfway through. I feel healthier already. The interior was a cozy space filled with cool wooden tabletops along with a sprawling bar. The bartender/server/busser was super friendly and personable, a notch above the usual brewpub servers, and several notches above record store/head shop employees. Ugh, they're the worst. There is something on tap for all level of connoisseurs, including barley wine. I got two beers, both IPAs. The Playground Politics was outstanding, the Farmhouse IPA maybe not so much. Anyway, high accolades for Crane, the little brewpub at the end of the lane.

Yelp
My husband and I headed to Crane Brewing after a nice hike on Blue River Trail. This brewery is pretty unassuming from the outside, but packed with charm (and yummy brews, according to my husband) on the inside. Trying to get to Crane Brewery can leave you wondering if Google Maps got confused. It's pretty off the beaten path. Once you arrive, the exterior, although a bit 'warehouse-y' and industrial, hints at the awesomeness within. The interior is pretty great, striking a nice balance between cozy and cool. When we were there, it wasn't too busy/loud, which was perfect so we could enjoy our conversation without having to yell. The servers were not only knowledgeable about the beers, but also very friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable asking for recommendations and chatting about the bikers who come in off the trail. Speaking of the trail...the proximity to the bike trail seems like a stroke of genius. But it turns out that the brewery was actually there before the trail - they just got lucky and the new trail morphed into a steady stream of business from its bikers. Overall, Crane Brewing is pretty awesome - it's definitely a destination worth visiting...and pedaling to!!

Yelp
Fun tasting hall with great staff and local events. We came on Wednesday and they were setting up for trivia. It got pretty busy as the game was starting, so it must be pretty popular with the locals. My brother got their Tea Weiss sour and his gf ordered one of the seasonal sours. Both seemed happy with their choices. I tried the Odd Bird, which was delicious and I felt pretty proud of those Kansas sourced Hops! I also tried one of their stouts which was listed as Horchata inspired. It was good, but I'm glad I only got it in a 5oz. The paninis looked amazing, but we had just had dinner down the street so we'll have to be back for them. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Even as the local crowd started to pour in, they did a great job of checking in with us and getting new orders as needed be. Their much was tempting, but I stayed strong in my guarding of the wallet! Don't know if I'll have that same willpower next time I'm in though.

Yelp
I stopped by Crane while visiting the area, and had a great experience. It was a quiet Thursday afternoon, but the bartender, Charlie, was personable and chatted with me while I was there. He gave me some great recommendations for other breweries to check out (besides Crane, of course) as well as local bbq recommendations. The beer was solid - it was a bit heavy on hazy selections due to a hazy promo they were doing, but there were plenty of other styles to choose from. The food consisted mainly of premade sandwiches and appetizers, but they were fresh and warmed up when ordered. The Cuban and soup were great, and better than most pub food offerings. All in all, Crane is a good brewery with friendly staff, a solid variety of beer styles, and a small but tasty selection of food. I'd recommend any beer snob check it out when in the area, and hopefully you'll have Charlie pouring beers and chatting with you.

Yelp
Stopped for a hydration break while riding the Rock Island trail. Great selection of home brews as well as appetizers. Choose from seating inside or outside on the picnic style tables. The bartender will help you make your best choices for the beer for you. Great place for a stop along the trail!

Yelp
We had a great time at happy hour! The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. The space is cool - lots of tables, a huge selection of games, and a big patio for nice weather. They have a wide selection of beers - lots of sours, if that's your jam! The weiss and farmhouse ales are also great. It definitely feels like there is a loyal, local crowd, and we were welcomed into it easily.

Yelp
Love this Brewery. Quiet and inviting. Stopped by while riding the Rock Hill Trail and hydrated. Always great service and conversation. It's great that they added food.

Yelp
Guys, I'm not even a beer person yet I'm giving 5 stars. That says something. This small town brewery is family and locally owned right in the KC metro. The Crane family has a wonderful story they tell when giving tours (every Saturday) of their facility. It's worth the listen you guys. If you need something to fill your Saturday's with, this is it. A warm welcome when you arrive from the lovely bartenders; a long list of sour beers, ipa's, and all the beers you can think of, plus some yummy frozen cocktails; and sometimes even kitties that roam the place. Crane brewery has spent the last 7 years growing from the KC metro to the surrounding states, and it's no surprise why. The facility is clean, the beers are tasty, the bar is loaded with board games and there's a taco truck outside as well. Check this place out! While you're at it, go ask Mr. Crane for some stories. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
This is a fun location right off the bike path, so would be a great place to stop along a bike ride. Although the outside seating did get a dust storm on a windy day. We stopped in just to pick out a 6 pack and they kindly helped us and let us sample our picks. Great service! Good mix of IPAs, porters and sours all with good flavor! We will return for more.

Yelp
I have been to crane many times and they have really expanded their beer styles. I like how they haven't changed too much in the taproom even when they have grown so much in distribution and popularity. I think they have recently been bought out but the new owners are keeping everything consistent and still holding the unique events that the original Crane owner did which is good to see. Their latest Ted lasso pop up was really fun and it's cool to see how they do bike trail events as well. I am more impressed on how their quality and styles have improved as they have expanded.

Yelp
Got to check out Crane Brewing Company for the first time using my PubPass and it was a hit. As someone who is not a huge beer person, the slushy option was great. They had two flavors to choose from and many beers on tap. Great indoor and outdoor seating. Trivia nights offered.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been to Crane Brewing many times in the past but not much over the past year. I have always enjoyed their sours and other beer options and tonight's Polar Opposites sour was a great taste. And, bonus, I ordered hot food! Not something they normally have. There's new things coming to Crane and I can't wait to see it. But more than anything it was great to see old friends who were also glad to se me!
google avatar

Yelp
I was really excited to finally get a chance to visit the Crane Brewing tap room recently on a trip to Kansas City because I've loved their beers for years now. (Unfortunately all the tea Weiss we stocked up on was accidentally left in our friends beer refrigerator when we drove back to Omaha but I'm sure they're enjoying!) We happened to stop in on a Saturday afternoon during some kind of biking rally (bicycles, that is) since the trail is just nearby. With plenty of outdoor seating and open garage doors there were no concerns over ventilation either. It was a great fall day to make our own samplers and sip on some amazing sour (and other types, if you're into that) beers! Love, love, love Crane Brewing.

Yelp
I've had several beers from Crane Brewing now and I must say I really enjoy their beer! The Dry Hopped Orange Gose was a great beer that we enjoyed this summer and the dry hopped and orange flavor profile was a perfect pairing! Another beer that I feel like mentioning is the Shock beer which was a fruited beer with blueberries and lactose. This beer proved not to bee too sweet unlike some fruited beers and was an excellent beer to relax to. I definitely recommend Crane Brewing and look forward to exploring with more of their beers!

Yelp
Came for the Ted Lasso pop up, stayed for the beer! *Video review @Steve.N.KC on Instagram & TikTok* The pop up was well thought out and I had fun being around Ted Lasso fans/typical KC friendliness! Their space was nice, huge patio with plenty of space, and the inside had room as well. They had the garage like door open so even inside you could enjoy the weather. Service was friendly and moved everyone along quick and easy! For beers I had the following Tea Weiss - very good beer, went down smooth and easy. I could see myself gravitating to this one as you can easily have a few without it feeling heavy. 8.8/10 Test Mexican Lager - forgot the name but this one was very tasty. I could still have a few but wouldn't be my first choice. 7.9/10 I'll be back to have more and bring friends!

Yelp
Stopped here on a drive from St. Louis. We have always been a fan of their sour beers (especially the tea infusions). It was great to get a feel for the vibes. Off the beaten path for sure but a great weekend hang out spot. Of course the beers did not diss appoint. We got a flight - sours were the highlights, though IPAs were good too.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm not into beer and neither was my date, figured start with that, lol. I told them that I like sweet drinks and if I drink a beer it's a cider. They allowed us to sample some of their "sweeter" options. I opted for the cider and my date opted for the peach. We were both satisfied with our drinks. The servers were very friendly. We sat next to a couple that had a couple of the beers and they enjoyed it. They go to Taps often so based on their satisfaction and ours, I would recommend coming here!

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE this brewery. Pick up beer every time I'm in KC. Wish I could get the farmhouse ale in MN. Mike the bartender was awesome when I finally got to experience the brewery in person!
google avatar

Yelp
Loved this family-friendly spot! There were games, good drinks, coffee, food trucks, cute outdoor sitting, and it was right along the Rock Island Spur Trail! We went on a hike and then got a drink.

Yelp
Of all the microbreweries of the KC landscape, I think Crane Brewing Co. might be the most unique. For one, they have been on the sour beer train for way longer than anyone else (including the big fish, Boulevard) and there's no limit to their local collabs. Want a Tea Weiss with locally made Hugo Tea, a Berry Weis, or a Gose on a hot summer day? You're in luck. What's cool to me is that I always thought of Crane's Sour selections, but their portfolio is more diversified than that. They have Farmhouse Ales, Brown Ales, IPA's, on down the line. If you're into seasonals and specialties, they won't disappoint and will bust out some surprisingly delicious brews. Beyond that, their space is really cool and again ties back to the unique theme. It's not nestled in the Crossroads, but instead brings some life to the Raytown neighborhood. On a summer night, with the sun setting behind the trees and the gravel crunching beneath your tires as you pull in? Nothing better. And the very last thing I'll say: These guys are ALWAYS involved in the community and I personally feel they're brand is so strong because of it. Lots of breweries do cool things in the community, but Crane has a way of being everywhere all the time.
google avatar

Abby P.

Yelp
I am always telling people that Crane is one of, if not my #1, favorite brewery in KC. I first got hooked at a Yelp event several years ago when they were very new. Since then, they have grown and established themselves in the most amazing way! I love that they specialize in sours but have a variety that exceeds well beyond just sours. Their new bar area is colorful and exciting and their branding/creative for each beer is SO FUN. That's my advertising brain speaking! I love Crane and have really appreciated how they have handled themselves during these COVID times. I have done curbside pickup twice and don't see any signs of stopping. Keep it up guys!
google avatar

Glenn G.

Yelp
You have a white selection and beers and a few IPAs but they're more on the sour side, but very flavorful and the staff is very nice big area even a good place for harvest toast and camping and plenty room for dogs very dog friendly

Yelp
During the Covid -19 crisis, I've been trying to put my money where my mouth is (generally behind a mask) and go out of my way to support local businesses. This weekend, I made that long overdue journey out to Raytown to visit what I have considered the true artisans of the local beer scene - Crane Brewing. I have been to a Crane tasting at a local liquor store and brought cans and bottles home on many occasion, but I had never sat foot in their tasting room until yesterday. Like a true artist, Crane pushes the envelope and sometimes they miss the mark - or I should say - I can't grasp their level of experimentation in such products as the Tea Weiss or the Beet Weiss; but i also don't "get" some Picasso's or Dali's. The Tasting Room bar has been transformed into a product showcase for carry-out only. The space is exquisite and is probably the most natural and inviting environment of any taproom in town. Lots of re-purposed wood with neutral and dark natural colors along with the use of their iconic origami branding incorporated throughout provides an upscale mountain cabin ambiance, far removed from the industrial building in a secluded space in a first-ring suburb. I took home a 32 oz crowler of Mango Lassi, and six pack's of Farmhouse IPA, and Apricot Weiss. All very distinguishable with potent flavoring - hoppy to fruity sour. The other great thing about Crane is that they have opened their space to other entrepreneurs such as Harp BBQ on Saturdays (someday I'll get there) and Cuento Coffee also roasts, sells and distributes from this space. Crane Brewery - another reason that Kansas City is such a fantastic place to live in!

Melissa D.

Yelp
Crane brewery is so fun to treat ourselves after riding 8 miles and heading back for another 8. Today(Sunday) disco gelato truck was here and man it was delicious. Too much heaven sundae and peanut butter ice cream. Tried a few beers and a flight. Happy riding after love Saturdays with bbq and taco truck too. Love the vibe and the people.

Yelp
Great beers. Wonderful ambience. Really nice staff. We always have so much fun playing the games and puzzles. It's super. Drink local!

Yelp
While I love visiting breweries when I travel, I have never really delved into our own local breweries outside of KC proper. I have really been missing out by not going to Crane. While I knew that they focused on sours, I had no idea the extent of the beers they would have in their tap room. Finding this place is sort of an off road adventure, but absolutely worth it. I wasn't sure I was even in the right spot until I saw the food truck outside. I got a flight of sours and a beet beer which absolutely knocked my socks off. Yes, you read that correctly, a BEET beer. Yum. I highly recommend visiting Crane, especially if you're into sours... or if you just want to try something new.
google avatar

Anne A.

Yelp
This little brewery was super cute! I never really enjoyed sour beers, but these were great! The sour beer infused with guava was my favorite! Definitely will be going back again to try other beers as well!
google avatar

Amanda R.

Yelp
Had a great visit to Crane yesterday. We got there around 12:30, ordered a few flights, and loved quite a few of the beers. After the flights, we each got a pint of our favorites. There are 5 picnic tables outside, a food truck in the parking lot and a coffee bar inside. The bartender was super nice. No complaints! Worth a trip!
google avatar

Lomax H.

Yelp
Tasty drinks but unfortunately the most overpriced establishment I have ever been in . 5 drinks 60 bucks. Some beers didn't look like 12oz we were guessing 9 or 10. But.. You can get a beer on the bike trail but your gun a get bent over for it.
google avatar

Jim H.

Yelp
First time visiting the brewery. Very casually old garage location. Nice selection of beers styles to please a large audiences consumers tastes. I had the Omar with dark full porter flavor.
google avatar

Patrick H.

Yelp
It's a little out of the way but worth the drive if you like sour beers. I can see why their beers are highly rated - they are all good. My favorites were the tiki weiss and apricot sour.
google avatar

Kristina T.

Yelp
What the heck am I drinking??? Am I really drinking beer??? Yes, I can't believe it is beer, and it is amazing. Start your experience by finding an out of sight location. That is where this hidden gem is located. Enter through the unsuspecting door and you find an empty office space. Keep going straight, open that next door, and you may be greeted by a cat. It is almost like entering someone's urban living room. Look around and you find the bar counter is to your left as well as an array of beautifully designed products for sale. Great, now what to try? My favorite is the Tea Weiss, but everything I have tried has been fantastic. All of the beers taste exactly as described, and boy are those sour beers citrusy. I am not a huge fan of beets, but I can keep coming back for the Beet Weiss. The guys here somehow found a way to make it taste good. I am almost able to trick myself into thinking I am getting my daily recommended dose of fruits and veggies here. If you have trouble deciding, it is ok. The guys at the counter are super passionate and knowledgeable. No food served here. The guys here are focused on making good beer. If you are hungry, there may be a food truck outside from which you can order food and bring inside. Or just do not come hungry. Parking is plentiful, atmosphere is welcoming, prices are reasonable, and tastes are delicious. I have no reason to not come back.
google avatar

Neeca B.

Yelp
Crane has distinguished themselves in the sour beer niche. Im seeing them pop up more and at my local watering hole. I went straight to the source this time around, started with their lightest on tap, oatmeal saison, tasty, and a good summer brew option. Tea Weiss caught my eye next, Hugo tea gives a fruity slightly sweet and amazing whiff of brew. Last I went for the Omar porter, deep rich coffee notes made it my favorite of the visit. So by now if your still reading, I've just admitted I wasn't actually brave enough to try the kumquat or grapefruit sour brews. Just gives me a reason to go back is all. Tricky to find, snarky bar men, eclectic but low key vibe make it a above decent option if your in Raytown. The uniqueness of what their tapping though really make it worth a drive to check out what everybody is talking about. I sense a cult following ensuing.
google avatar

Becca S.

Yelp
Michael Crane, Guapo, John and everyone else I've met in the Crane taproom have all been so friendly and personable and they attract a really friendly clientele. I occasionally bring my computer and work remotely from the taproom and have a friendly chat with folks wandering in from the Rock Island trail. It's such a nice atmosphere. As a woman, it's really lovely to have a place to go enjoy a drink and still feel safe being by myself. Currently having a Farmhouse IPA and it's friggin delicious. Really love this place!

Kristin L.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! The beers were all really tasty. Staff was super friendly and attentive to the small details. The cocktail slushies were amazing but don't get the sangria ones
google avatar

Mary M.

Yelp
I love, love, love their beer. It's such an amazing array of collections. We're sour beer nerds and this place is like a candy store. They come up with so many different concoctions that hit the spot: beets, apricots, Christmas spice and so much more. Tangy, puckering, bright and nothing has that unnatural sweetness that others can have. I even found an IPA I like. Wha? Crazy! Right now, you can still place online orders and go by to pick it up. No excuses to not visit Crane! Grab a crowler while you're at it.
google avatar

Chi H.

Yelp
First time for every thing. Have not heard about until this beer tour with Yelp. It was kind of hard to missed this place if you didn't turn the right exit. I have heard sweet, heavy or light beer, but never of sour beer. The beer I had was Saison and Grapefruit Gope. Surprisingly they were pretty good. Learn about they brewing and how they bottle each by hand still amazes me. Would love to try more flavors in the future.
google avatar

Jordan K.

Yelp
Crane has an AWESOME tap room with a great selection of beers - especially sours. They have created a fun atmosphere down in Raytown, and I will definitely be back. While they don't have a full food menu, Monk's Roast Beef food truck was there and they have bar/snack food options. Job well done to the staff at Crane, cheers!
google avatar

Matt K.

Yelp
My wife and I have become huge sour beer nerds. Ever since having our first one a few years ago, sours are our staple beer. A couple years ago, Crane beers appeared on the scene, and we were thrilled to have a local brewer doing beers in our favorite style. We've enjoyed several of their offerings, but had never actually made the drive from Lenexa to Raytown. That changed last Saturday, when we took some fellow beer-loving friends on a brewery crawl. A bit off the beaten path, Crane is tucked away down what looks to be a dead-end, quasi-industrial part of town. Google maps had no trouble finding it, so just trust your gps! Once inside, we perused the tap list and bottle offerings. I had hoped to find a new beer I've seen them tweeting about, but it's not out yet. Still, I ordered one of my favorites (Tea Weiss) and we settled into a table across the room from the bar. Friendly service and terrific beer? What more could you want? Crane isn't exclusively a sour beer brewery...they do other styles, notably saisons and IPA's, but they really know how to make a quality sour brew. A personal favorite is their bizarre Beet Weiss (yes, that's "beet" - as in, red, earthy root vegetable). Trying to describe it is a bit impossible; you just need to experience it. It smells like delicious cooked beets, but tastes like wonderful pickled beets. Most of their sour beers are fairly low ABV, so you can enjoy more than one. They also offer flights so that you can sample several of their offerings in smaller servings. We will be back, and always on the hunt for whatever new concoctions Crane offers up!

Paul H.

Yelp
It was a worthy stop after the hills to/from the stadium. Great stop to rest and "refuel". Snacks we had were boxed but very good. My friend tried the Cherry Cider and I'm going to try it this weekend. Looking forward the next ride there.

Sam Joy C.

Yelp
IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR THE BEST SOUR BEER YOU HAVE EVER HAD, LOOK NO FURTHER. Crane Sours are seriously hands down my favorite beer in the whole entire universe! I really don't know what took us so long to check out this spot since we are always picking up their brews at our local liquor stores but every employee is so kind and friendly. We had a few beers on the patio, which is the best way to kick off the first day of summer if you ask me! We can't wait to come back and bring our dogs next time.
google avatar

Marissa M.

Yelp
Tried out one of their fruit sour beers tonight at a pups and pints event. The drink was wonderful, coming from a person who isn't big on beers or sours, this beer was wonderful and had a clean bite to it. Come support this local brewery the beer perfect on a summer night!
google avatar

Jamel M.

Yelp
It was our first time at Crane and most definitely not our last. We went on a Saturday afternoon and had flights. The best was the apple cider beer because it tasted more like apple than a beer but you knew it was definitely a beer. The service was great, with staff greeting you at the door and at the bar. They provided recommendations based on the questions they asked, so you were having beers based on your preferences. If you're a sour person, Crane is the way to go.
google avatar

Erin W.

Yelp
Crane is an amazing brewery in an odd spot (you will wonder where in the world you are going if you are anyway familiar with Raytown). They have a great food truck and their beers are one of my favorite craft brews in the area. Consistency is huge and their beers knock it out of the park over and over again. Flagships are great, but I especially enjoy the specialty beers they brew throughout the year. I've taken the fireside beer (in a huge bottle) to share and got nothing but compliments around self appointed beer snobs. I'm happy to have such a great brewery in KC!
google avatar

Richard D.

Yelp
Christina and I drove though the back of an industrial park on the wrong side of town to discover Crane Brewing shining in the dark night. As we walked inside, the excited energy was palatable as groups of sour craft beer lovers experienced tart, hoppy and fruited flavors. The staff was gracious enough to take us on a quick brewery tour, showing us their 15-barrel brewing system and 30-barrel fermenters. The biggest surprise was the massive and seemingly endless wall of barrels aging creative experimental flavors. Our favorite brews were the Omar Porter and Farmhouse IPA, but they just had their 4th anniversary so if you're into barrel-aged beers you'll be pleasantly surprised to find half a dozen on draught now until they're gone!

Yelp
one AWESOME find! fantastic atmosphere. went for the Hurt BBQ but this brewery was a pleasant surprise. they had 8 sour beers of which I couldn't pick a favorite. Penny is a great person and a fantastic server. I feel we hit it off well and enjoyed fun banter. this is without a doubt my favorite stop in KC. I can't wait to drop in again.
