Crash boat Beach is a great spot to visit with a lot of food trucks with some good food. You need to get there early if you want to get a good spot it does get packed with a-lot of families visiting. Be careful if you park outside the parking lot Do Not park in any spots where there are yellow lines if not you will be paying a hefty parking ticket.

One of the prettiest beaches I’ve ever been to, hands down one of my favorites. Parking is tough, one in one out situation for their parking lot so there’s a wait unless you manage to find parking on the street. The beach unfortunately gets trashed by visitors too, there was garbage everywhere which is very disappointing to see.

Michael Lewis

Google
By far one of the most beautiful beaches I have been to so far. A little crowded but the scenery and water makes up for it 100% (Especially after visiting Buyé beach yesterday, awful) but can also walk down the beach to a quieter area. Very friendly people, cool food vendors and lots of ice cream carts on the beach. 10/10 Side note: parking can be tricky but not a bad walk if you’re able to do so.

Google
I love this beach. Very fun and lively. Plenty of vendors sell hot food and cold drinks. Parking was sort of a challenge with cars lined up waiting for people to load up and vacate their parking space. It was easier to pay $9 for parking in a paid lot rather than competing for a free spot.

One of my favorite beaches I visited in PR… some good photo ops , clear waters with activities to participate in like jet ski etc… go early as parking fills up @ $10. A few spots to eat there as well.

Crash Boat is a beautiful and fun beach, but it can get pretty crowded. If you're looking for a quieter spot, head to the smaller area on the far left side of the beach—it's tucked up against some rocks and tends to be less busy. That same area is great for snorkeling! There's a sunken boat with tons of marine life and even a few small caves to explore. The water is incredibly clear, and the ocean floor is smooth with no rocks, making it perfect for swimming. There's also a dock you can jump off for extra fun. Important tip: Be mindful of the parking situation. Crash Boat has a reputation for giving out parking tickets, especially if you park along yellow-lined curbs. There are no warning signs that indicate this is bad. You’ll likely see others parked there too, but don’t follow their lead. The ticket is $100, though it can be reduced to $70 if you pay within 15 days. There’s no online payment option, so you'll need to pay it in person.

Crash Boat Beach is a great spot to visit with so many food trucks. Get there early if you want to get a good spot it does get packed with a-lot of families visiting. Be careful if you park outside the parking lot Do Not park in any spots where there are yellow lines if not you will be paying a hefty parking ticket. We was a little bit late and I have to park at the hill When we left around 5pm the police showed up and give tickets to all the cars the parked outside the yellow lines. (I guess the police know when to show up to write tickets 😂) From San Juan it take around 2 hours

Google
Best beach in the area! Parking is very limited so be prepared to park up the hill and walk down. I dropped off our gear with my husband in the parking lot so he could set up our spot as I found a spot.. we came on a Monday at 12:30pm, very busy but so worth it. Food vendors right in the parking lot and water is crystal clear and near the foot bridge is great snorkeling opportunity. Jet skies cause same massive waves which is concerning but to the left of the foot bridge there is calmer water which we liked for our 4 year old. Many people jump off the foot bridge which is fun to watch. Definitely worth a day trip of you are staying in the area!

Yelp
We got there in the afternoon and likely past the peak time. There was free parking on the street leading up to the gated entrance so we went for it. A short walk later, we were on the beach set up, in a great spot on the left of the . They had rentals of all kinds and some food and drink stands. You are allowed to drink on this beach. There were also a fair amount of fishers fishing off the end of the pier, which did not affect any jumpers since they jump off the side, not the end. There are 2 distinct parts of the beach, divided by the main pier heading out to the water. We targeted this beach to spend the day at because of its piers. It's like a built-in amusement park and the piers give you different heights and angles to jump off. Then there are piers to the left side that are shorter jumps and someone had a slackline set up between them, which was fun to experiment with. We spent all day here and enjoy doing a lot of jumping. The sand was soft and the crowd pleasant.

Yelp
I came on a weekday & it's the off peak season so vendor booths were vacant. There were a bunch of booths from souvenirs to food, etc. I was a little bummed out by that. I got to try a limber de coco(coconut ice). "Limber" is often used to refer to a frozen, slushy type of treat in Spanish speaking regions, particularly in the Caribbean. Vendors sell it out of a little cart & they go around the beach. It was very refreshing especially in the 80+ degree weather. I wish it was a little bit less sweet though. I should have mixed it up w/ the cherry flavor. The water in this beach was beautiful & so crystal, clear blue. Most people of PR are so friendly & always say hello. You see PR flags everywhere here painted on a chair/tree,hang up on the boardwalk, etc. I love Crash Boat & def will be back!

Yelp
If you are on Aguadilla definitely stop but crash boat beach! I recommend coming early because parking is very difficult. We arrived around 12:30pm and struggled to find parking. We didn't have to pay entrance fee see we found street parking. There is also space for ppl to bbq and picnic Once you get down the beach though it's very beautiful! The waters here are a lot calmer than San Juan, but since the beach is small it felt a lot more crowded. If you're looking for more of a tranquil beach experience I recommend going during the week when it isn't as crowded

Yelp
The beach is nice and the water is clear. There is an area where you can rent chairs and umbrellas and there are a few food stands. What I didn't like is them at the jet skis and boats come really close to the shore so it's feels crowded and you can't really swim. I was there with my family when a guy decides to turn on his jet ski and we water all over us from his engine.
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely a beach for locals. About a 2 hour drive from San Juan, you will find this gem.

Yelp
We love coming to Crashboat Beach. It's clean, the water is clear and they have little food Kiosks on site which is so nice when hu ger strikes . Great spot to tan or just enjoy calm Beach water. Definitely a must.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this Place! Clean Huge Easily accesible Disability compliant Great Kiosks for snacks Lots of fun Jet-skis Banana boat Great photo props. Beach water is not as salty and ver calm Get with the program on Bathrooms. So many tourist but they're still operating with Latrines. Minus my one star.
google avatar

Alex T.

Yelp
Pretty solid beach. lots of great vendors around and also great jet skiing opportunities. parking is pretty straight forward - $9/car is great. not really sure if there are any convenient bathrooms though - the only one we were able to conveniently go to was the one at the bar close to the parking lot but that one has a $20 minimum purchase from customers.

Yelp
Jump off the pier into the great blue waters at Playa Crash Boat the beach waters are home marine life like turtles and manatees., beach is perfect for snorkeling, diving and surfing. various activities, around the beach, then hit the food trucks around the pier for a Pina colada and Puerto Rican island food. Later walk out to watch the sunset. You'll find picnic tables and great places to take photos of beautiful scenery. You have both paid and free parking so be sure to arrive early. In all it was one of my favorite beaches. Come visit it's a great place to spend a full beach day.
google avatar

Yelp
Lively spot for fun in the sun. The water is clear with small waves. You can stand with a drink in your hand and rock with the tide. Local vendors have premade mixed drinks for sale and there all small bites as well. Definitely try the Chicken or Pork on a stick...very tasty! My kids loved jumping off the pier. Be aware that it's difficult to climb back up onto the pier (for old people)...I had to swim to shore.
google avatar

Holly P.

Yelp
One of the best beaches in Puerto Rico. Clean water and surroundings. Food trucks with yummy food.
google avatar

Nick R.

Yelp
Amazing beach. This place was awesome. Beautiful views and clean water! I recommend it. One of the best beaches on the west side of PR! Liked it so much we went twice! Enjoy the photos!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the BEST beaches on the island!! You can't miss coming to this little gem!! The water is gorgeous and the day you'll spend here is fabulous!! Plenty of great local restaurants to hit afterwards as well!! Come spend the day at Crash Boat and see what a beautiful beach is really supposed to be. Also...be prepared for a mish-mash of music if the locals are around. They love to hear their music out loud. Hahaha!
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
Probably the best overall beach in Puerto Rico. We were there on a Sunday in September and the water was calm and clear. It wasnt too crowded because Sept is the off season. This beach is gorgeous. The rocky cliffs really make it spectacular. This spot used to be a military type base and they have an old concrete pier that you can jump off of and swim under. Tons of fish live under the pier. This beach has lots of vendors for food, drinks, chair and umbrella rentals, and activities. We enjoyed some delicious pinchos (meat skewers), pastelillos (fried dough pockets stuffed with meat or pizza) and a few pina coladas. We also rented 3 chairs and 2 unmbrellas. Umbrellas are $20 and each chair is $5. Need to turn them in by 4pm. There is snorkeling and scuba diving right off the beach here.

Yelp
We came on a holiday so the beach was packed. Parking was completely full. We were about to park outside of the parking area in the yellow area, but luckily some locals told us the parking ticket for parking there was $500 so we moved further up the road. Walking back down to the beach we noticed a bunch of cars with tickets so we were so grateful for the warning. Despite being crowded, the beach is absolutely beautiful! There were food vendors. We had just eaten, but we definitely got some pina coladas! There was a DJ on the beach so it was an amazing vibe. Again, it was a holiday so I doubt it's an every weekend thing. I am not a local, but I noticed a lot of other tourist littering so I have to add: please pick up after yourself. Beaches like these will not stay beautiful forever if people continue to discard their trash and not take care of it.
google avatar

Esther P.

Yelp
Awesome! Entry to the parking and beach at free. MUST visit BUT go early so you can find parking. We got there at 10am on a Tuesday (it was a holiday) and parking was completely full. Had to park up the road. So if you don't get there early you will have to park up the road and it can be a bit steep. Note: stay away from the areas with yellow lines. You will get a parking ticket. This place was lots of fun. Kids will have a blast too. Water is so clean and clear, the beach too is clean. Everyone did a great job keeping track of their trash. So being garbage bags. If you don't have an umbrella or chairs they have rentals there, chairs are $10 each and umbrella $20. They do require your government ID (ie: drivers license) and will hold it until you return to get it. Water activities also available: water jet skis and banana boat only. Locals brought grills but there are food trucks there with great skewers, empanadas, and drinks (alcohol and no -alcoholic). Cash only and reasonable prices. (ie: one vendor had chicken or pork $4 / shrimp $5. The beverage vendor had piña colada without alcohol $6 (red cup) and lemonade large for $8 bother we're delicious). NOTE: umbrella/chair rentals and food trucks are on the far right of the beach. Bathroom - there weren't any or they were closed. The restaurant behind the food trucks can be used but they require you to buy two drinks. Not sure if it's each time but I would assume so. How this helps.

Yelp
This is the most popular tourist beach here on Aguadilla. Food vendors on the beach, but not today. The most popular beach doesn't mean it's the nicest. Good amount of parking at least. Beach was lame and the parking lot smells foul too.
google avatar

Janira H.

Yelp
The beach is great, the water is clear and the waves are calm. My only gripe is that it's very touristy. If you're ok with that then this is a great pick, I prefer to find the beaches that my native family frequents. It's all preference. There are plenty of vendors here as well, you'll find cocktails, ice cream and food vendors. There's also parking, rest rooms, and a iconic area. Beware, the rest rooms aren't very clean. Please don't forget to take your garbage with you.
google avatar

Yelp
This beach is one of my favorites that we visited. The beach is soft white sand, clear warm water and just over all beautiful. We stayed in San Juan and it took about 1.5 - 2 hrs to drive there and it was well worth it. It's like a thing to jump from the peir but we didn't. They had a jet ski rental there and a bunch of kiosk that started opening around 11am. We got there around 9 am and had no trouble finding parking close to the beach but when we left later in the day it was packed with people parking up the hill. The kiosk are very inexpensive and so worth it. I loved our day snorkeling and just laying in the sand. One of the best beaches in the island.
google avatar

Sarina F.

Yelp
The beach is beautiful. Like others have said it's not swimmable. You can definitely wade in the waters along the beach but that's about it. We came on a Wednesday, the kiosks didn't open until later in the day. Some after 4pm and not all of them opened. Thursday is when more of the kiosks open through the weekend. They had scooters to rent so you could ride around the area. A lot of ppl were renting the scooters! Beautiful area. I'm sure it's quite fun on the weekend when everything is open
google avatar

Debora D.

Yelp
Beautiful water, so many fish around the pier, food and restroom options are great. The only thing it lacked was permanent shade options. You can purchase umbrellas but then have to keep an eye on them with the wind (which was most definitely present).
google avatar

Shawn M.

Yelp
I teresting place. Good spot just to hang out, swim in the ocean, and eat tasty snacks. Not for surfing at all. Good for kids anf young people. Lots of tourists though.
google avatar

Denise S.

Yelp
Great day at Crash Boat! Great waves, weather, food, and fun. This was an excellent choice for the day.
google avatar

Tawanda R.

Yelp
It was the first day the restrictions were lifted and the beach was packed! They had free parking when we got there! Plus for us! I got to see the part of the beach where ppl jumped in and swam to shore, not a thing i'm trying to do, but I'll watch you all day. lol I was on a more shallow part of the beach on the other side of the rock looking dock. The waves were super aggressive, since it's their winter and they have a lot of rip tide action happening. There was food to eat, we had grilled chicken skewers and there is also a restuarant in a lot adjacent to the beach. There were was a bench in the shade were a lot of my family sat and played dominios. Ppl were friendly and bumping their music and to my surprise a lot of black Americans have relocated to Puerto Rico, as I met a few from the States at the beach. Had a great time and would love to visit again!

Yelp
Crash Boat is a magical beach filled with fun things to do! Many food trucks and tarps with local Puerto Rican dishes like empanadillas, pinchos, alcapurrias, and drinks like mojitos, piña coladas, and more! Crash Boat beach is crystal clear and is usually very full, so arrive early for easy parking! I love jumping off the dock and snorkeling; there are always many fishes to watch!
google avatar

Kai V.

Yelp
Really fun beach with clear blue waters. It has bathrooms, showers, and a boardwalk that you can jump off of. There are small local stands for coconuts and pineapples and a hut for drinks. We come here everytime whenever we visit Puerto rico. Worth the 2 hour drive from san juan!

Frankie C.

Yelp
Great Beach! Fantastic kiosk for food and drinks!!! But get there early or you will be walking!!!!!
google avatar

Jo L.

Yelp
THIS BEACH IS AMAZING! My favorite one so far in PR! Because of the ease of getting here, parking, water, food vendors right on water, just overall experience!!!! I highly recommend supporting the locals and renting chairs and cabanas from them when you get here, so you don't have to drag all the heavy stuff. This place is great for the entire family because the water is super calm and clear. Great for swimming , snorkeling and chilling!!!! I cannot wait to come back to this beach again.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best beach experiences I've ever had! Parking was about $4 and brings you almost right on the beach. There were a decent amount of people there but for the most part, everyone seemed to be keeping their distance. The water here was some of the clearest I have ever experienced in my life. You could literally see feet your underneath you when waist deep, which was a first for me. The scene is really picturesque. If you want to move even further away from people, once you step onto the beach, hang an immediate right and "set up camp" more towards the rocky jetty. Keep walking and you'll spot several large pastel colored canoes (they're pretty hard to miss) that will really make you feel like you're in the scene of a rather large and beautiful painting. The highlight of Crash Boat is really the pier. It is insanely fun to jump off side of and since it attracts a ton of fish, snorkeling was perfect. We saw schools of hundreds of fish pass right beneath and alongside us. There were even several divers with high tech cameras enjoying the underwater view as well. Speaking of cameras, be sure to bring yours as the pier of really a great spot for photo ops, especially by the very tall Puerto Rican flag. As are most of the beaches in PR, there are no lifeguards so swim at your own risk. Know your limits and ask locals and beach goers about rip currents, tides, and weather conditions before going out.
google avatar

Zee T.

Yelp
The beach is beautiful but it gets too crowed and very loud. I would recommend going early on the morning
google avatar

Ana Z.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite beaches in the island. It is beutiful! Crystal clear water with vendors and great vibes. The pier makes it for an awesome place to jump to the water. The parking is tight and you should definately try to get there early to secure a spot. There is barely any shade so bring a lot of sunscreen. You can also snorkel and scuba dive here.

Christian M.

Yelp
Beach was beautiful, especially if you have older kids, it's great for just relaxing, lots of space for activities. Water seemed pretty calm so it's good for swimming. The pier was a lot fun to jump off of. Only knock is the parking, probably less of an issue if you get there pretty early, but later in the day it gets packed and you have to park pretty far away up the road and walk. Whatever you do, DO NOT PARK WHERE THE CURB IS YELLOW OR PAST THE OBSERVATION DECK. There is only one sign posting to not park there and it's hard to see, I've heard the ticket is anywhere from $50 to $100 and the police are always there handing them out.
google avatar

Vianey F.

Yelp
Beautiful beach, be prepared to get there early so you can find parking it does get packed. There are some options for food and drinks from either local vendors or restaurants. It's definitely worth the visit the water is clear, it's a beautiful spot!

Yelp
Absolutely a paradise experience. We went in a weekday in September and it was excellent and very private. Highly recommend this visit
google avatar

Kim B.

Yelp
Beautiful destination, clear blue waters, warm soft sand, good food (pinchos, empanadillas, tropical drinks, restaurant) not crowded the day we went. There were souvenirs and water activities available as well.
google avatar

Evan G.

Yelp
Crash Boat Beach in Aguadilla is a beautiful and well maintained beach that is well worth a visit for a day. I really like the location and atmosphere here that you can really relax and enjoy everything that the beach has to offer. I like that there are spots in the shade or in the sun. Good experience coming here.
google avatar

Andres R.

Yelp
Nice natural beauty but absolutely no public amenities available in this public beach. No restrooms and no showers and no lifeguards . Just a shame that a beach with so much touristic potential is so poorly neglected.
google avatar

Kristel M.

Yelp
Nice beach. $5 parking. Some vendors for food/drink. Was told upon parking not to leave anything unattended on the beach because it will be stolen.
google avatar

Gaspar R.

Yelp
Love this beach because of the convenience, about a twenty minute drive . It's a must when ever we visit Aguadilla. The ambiance is always great no matter what day of the week, well it's kinda crazy on the weekends with different zones of music. The beach is fairly clean the workers try their best I can see. I just wish that the locals would treat the beach with more respect and clean up after themselves so the next person can enjoy the beach. The local food vendors are really good for fast food , highly recommend the cold coconuts. There's a great pier to jump into the water and a great place to snorkel. Almost forgot the most important thing there's no bathrooms but no worries a short drive takes you to a lot of restaurants On the strip.
google avatar

Lydia B.

Yelp
The beach itself is amazing! The water is the clearest we've seen all visit, and we have been all around PR for eight days. Beautiful fish and really cool shipwreck if you snorkel along the left side of the beach for long enough. The beach was crowded with a lot of people all over. The waves were perfect for little kids, and was fun to ride for older kids. There were great docs that you can jump off of or just chill on. There are food vendors right there on the beach, and parking is free. An excellent beach for everyone in the family!!
google avatar

Josue Z.

Yelp
Great beach. I have a 4 and 9 month old and the ocean was good enough for the 4 to be on his own in the shallows and good enough to carry the 9 month old. They have food nearby, the prices were reasonable but I can't tell you if the food was good. I didn't have anything. The parking ranges from $4-$6 dollars. Parking was tight. The sunset was the best part of it all. Perfect view. They have banana boat rides. And they have a SARAMABICHE DJ. This was on a Sunday. When you go there you will understand what Im talking about. Lol. The ONLY thing I didn't like. I didn't see a shower to rinse off. So keep your empty bottles so that you can fill them up with ocean water to take the sand off your feet. Not having a shower or seeing one or seeing a SIGN that indicated one was annoying.
google avatar

Krishnan P.

Yelp
Best local beach in the area. Family friendly but great for grown folks as well. Excellent food trucks & vendors. Remember to negotiate all prices
google avatar

Bianca N.

Yelp
My fav beach in the world! Go check it out! The color of the water is so turquoise and transparent you can see all the fishes
google avatar

Desiree D.

Yelp
covid review: love love love this beach. i came twice, both of which later in the day. i can tell parking sucks here during the day at peak time. there are food stands selling beer and pinchos - cash only! clean beach...alot of people at times. a dock to jump off of. absolutely stunning sunsets can be seen here! i highly suggest coming here if youre in aguadilla!
google avatar

Jaz C.

Yelp
This beach is one of my favorites on the entire island. I always stop by for some pinchos and a good time. I love it here and there's definitely lots of family vibes.
google avatar

Angie F.

Yelp
The water was perfect so warm and clear the people were so friendly. Food and drinks down on the beach
google avatar

Kay W.

Yelp
Beautiful beach, you can buy food and drinks, ride boats, jet skis and rent snorkeling gear
google avatar

Efrain E.

Yelp
Nice small fun beach to hangout at. Parking was a little tight but luckily we had a handicapped permit lol There's a bunch of food trucks along the beach to buy food and drinks. Some accept debit cards but as always cash is king. You're better off bringing some cash. The piers are fun as you can jump off of them. Chair rentals are cheap and there's even a fast talking ex new yorker renting them which was weird and unexpected lol There's some rocks and a path that you can climb if you dare for some great photo and video opps. Bring a selfie stick. It will come in handy when taking pics. Really lived up to the hype. Went on a Friday. Not super crowded and everyone was super chill. Seemed to be an even ratio of locals to tourists. Enjoy. Definitely a bucket list must if visiting Puerto Rico. P.S. I even spoke to a couple who were chilling at a house right on the beach at the far end and they said it was an Airbnb and worth every cent.
google avatar

Yelp
Loved this beach despite the damage hurricane Maria did to it. The water is so clear, there are food trucks around that sell pinchos and pizza. There are fish swimming around so bring snorkeling gear! There are water activities you can do too. We paid for the banana boat ($12/person) for 15-20 minutes. It was so much fun! There's also a small pier that people are able to jump off of into the ocean. The sand part of the beach isn't that long but it didn't get crowded while we were there - probably because it was a Wednesday. I wish beaches in NY looked like crash boat beach!!
