Crate Cafe

First time visiting, a close walk to my accommodation, arrived before 7 am so it was very quiet and quick service. I walked by yesterday and it was very busy, so I decided to go today and check it out. Asked the barista about the menu and he was kind enough to provide some suggestions. Huge variety. Ordered cappuccino and a smoothie bowl. Great atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to provide a serviette with the cutlery 🙏🏼

This place is great. I love you he atmosphere, the people are friendly and it's just a great place to have a coffee and share a great convo. Staff are friendly and take care of you. All round it's a great place to be. I come here regularly. I recommend the Salmon and avocado 🥑 on toast or the blueberry protien smoothie.

Very disappointing overall. The portions are impressive and beautifully presented, but the quality isn’t there. We waited over 30 minutes to get our plates… reducing portion size but improving service speed might help. Giving 2 stars because I’m a mango smoothie fan, and theirs was easily the best in Bali.

Great place for morning breakfast. Great vibe and the food portions are big. Can be a bit busy and noisy but I think that adds to the atmosphere of the place. Ordering at the counter is quick and simple. Then you just need to find a seat and they will deliver the food to you. Perfect for small or big groups as they have different table sizes.

Review of Crate Café I had an average experience at Crate Café. They only offer matcha with sugar, but to be fair, they were transparent about it from the start, which I appreciated. I ordered the breakfast plate—nothing special. The bread was quite average and the eggs were slightly undercooked. I also asked for no rocket salad, but it was served on top anyway, which was a bit disappointing. The prices are okay, and overall you get what you pay for. Not bad, but nothing that makes me want to return.

Soooo disappointed! This ice coffee keeps melting. And this look terrible. How they can think the drinks keeps melting gonna be look good? So terrible aesthetics! The customer just needs drinks and food tastes good and provides good service! That all we need! Sooo bad! Pls don’t order this ice coffee frappe. Tastes like water. I can’t finished. I rated it -15 out of 10(minus 15)

Crate serves up massive portions, every dish is packed with flavour and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is lively and full of energy. Easily the best brunch spot I found on the island. No doubt about it. Perfect for starting your day right.

Honestly, this place feels like a trap. It’s all about the Instagram material with big portions and vibrant colors, but the food just lacks flavor. The poached egg chicken toast was super dry and tasteless because the toast wasn’t fresh, and the chicken was poorly marinated it lacked a good mix of ingredients to be able to eat or even digest. Even the coffee and smoothies were just average. Plus, it was really hot inside—no fans or AC! I wouldn’t recommend it!
