We are traveling all over Ireland and this was our most favourite place to stay to date. The greeting and check in by Dan was warm and helpful. He took us to our flat and made sure we had everything we needed. Loved the suite! It was bright, clean and had everything you might need. They also offered laundry service, which we used. It came back within a few hours all nicely washed and folded.

This hotel looks nothing like the photos on their website. We would never had booked it if we had known. The only positive things I can say are that the young woman who checked us in was nice and we appreciated that parking was free and monitored. ||||The carpets were stained, the blanket on the bed had a hole in it, the wifi was basically unusable as it was very weak and it kept dying. Because the wifi was bad the TV having netflix was useless. The bathroom was very worn. Literally nothing like the photos. We paid 130 euro for one night. ||||It was a 20-30 min walk to city center to try to find dinner options. This is located across the street from the university. This was on a main street so there is traffic noise.

We have been in Killarney House for a month, specifically in apartment 5 -1. Our stay in the guest house has been wonderful and very comfortable. It has been a great luck to stay here. We want to say thank you for everything you have done to make it a good experience. All the staff have always been kind to us. There is always someone at the reception to help and ask questions. Always fantastic housekeeping service. Honestly, the apartment surprised us. This amazing apartment has just been renovated. Smells new and fresh, it’s very nicely decorated, modern and warm. It has everything we could need for a month. It has an induction kitchen with many kitchen utensils, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, refrigerator. There is even a washing machine in apartment 6. Also has iron, hair dryer, work table, etc. There are bus stops very close to go to the center. Also parking is free and available for guests. And finally, the apartment is also close to Fitzgerald's Park, a nice and quiet area to walk. Everything has been perfect, we recommend it! Albert & Joana

By far one of the most run down establishments I’ve ever stayed in Ireland , actually shocked they can charge €100 p/night for the quality of the rooms. Looks nothing like the photos - carpets absolutely FILTHY, nothing welcoming about the room whatsoever. ||Cold water in taps on arrival and in the morning. Very loud traffic outside , felt like we were sleeping with windows open. ||||Positives - lovely staff member on check in & parking included in rate.

Very noisy at night. It's sorta like the windows a made from single glaze Clingfilm. Bed was warm and clean and showers were good and hot. Host was nice person, friendly and helpful. Only complaint would be the noise from outside. Loads of parking available

A no frills place, 2beds, desk, table chairs cleaned everyday, clean. There are 6 rooms make sure you talk to them about what room you want. 1- 7. We were in #6 that was on top floor no elevators. Not much for climbing stairs.|| It was close to City Centre and lots to do. Went to the English Market and had breakfast everyday, it was excellent and not expensive. If renting a car just park and take the bus as nothing is that far but not to get lost at first, take bus. Very damp and cold wear turtle necks.

Stayed at Crawford House when I was in Cork for a teaching engagement. On arrival I was greeted with a warm welcome, check-in was efficient and I was given help with my luggage. The room was a good size with a large En Suite bathroom, well stocked with tea/coffee making facilities, and cleaned every day. The staff were friendly and efficient and gave advice willingly. They had a good knowledge of the area and gave great recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble. They took the time to engage each visitor in friendly conversation and made my stay a pleasent one. Situated in the heart of the city, it was close to all attractions making everywhere easy to get to. I very much enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it. Just very run down, overpriced, no breakfast. No discount for child, very noisy. Someone upstairs moving around all night. ||Felt unclean, shower was nice, although broken tiles and very dated, tiny TV too high on wall with just 3 channels, no knowledge of local area 250 euro for myself and 9 year old was double what I'd expect to pay.
