Crawfords Beach Lodge

Our team hosted our “ChangeChella” year-end weekend at Crawfords Beach Lodge for 60 people, and I cannot express how exceptional the experience was from start to finish. From the very beginning, Sima supported me tirelessly on WhatsApp — often multiple times a day — handling every request with kindness, patience, and the best sense of humour. Nothing was ever too much for her or the Crawfords team. She kept everything running smoothly, made planning effortless, and genuinely felt like a partner throughout the process. During the weekend itself, the team went above and beyond in every way. They helped us remove our décor, often ran to my room to assist with last-minute needs, and always did so with a smile. Their commitment and warmth made a massive difference to the success of our event. A special thank-you to Patrick, who managed the bar and the bar team with absolute professionalism. He and his team were consistently friendly, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. The food throughout the weekend was outstanding — fresh, beautifully prepared, and served quickly despite our large group. The service was fast, attentive, and honestly, some of the best we’ve experienced at a retreat venue (and this is as per the feedback from our team as well). Crawfords Beach Lodge didn’t just host us; they looked after us. Their entire team helped make ChangeChella a memorable, seamless, joyful experience. We are so grateful for their support, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you to Sima, Patrick, and the entire Crawfords team — you were phenomenal.

This was not our first visit to Crawfords and it certainly won't be our last. This is genuinely an escape - as soon as you arrive at the Lodge there are always smiling faces to greet - help you to your cottage and cart your luggge - some of the stairs can be quite daunting. We stayed in Cottage 16 - it is amazing beautiful rooms - sea views and the ocean right in plain sight. The food is amazing and the setting is fantatic. Within 10 minutes of arriving you already feel like you have been on a holiday and after our 4 night stay we felt like we had been there for weeks. Thank to Mark, Lyn and the ||Crew for such a fantatic relaxing time.

We stayed 2 days at Crawfords for a big party. The arrangements for our stay were easy with no confusion. The staff is very courteous and seemed to do almost anything to please the guests.||The room was a bit old fashioned but it was clean and roomy. The view was of the ocean was fabulous. Didn't hear complaints from anyone while we were there.

I love visiting Crawford's... We spent holidays in the self catering units as a child, so many memories of the area. The food is fantastic and I love re-xonnwcting with the friendly and efficient staff. Kitchen (proper noun) always makes me feel welcome. Thank you. The rooms are comfortable. Being on the coast, the sea air takes its toll on woodwork - but this is perfectly natural. And I live the smell of the thatched rooves. I love the outdoors, being mucky and sweat covered - and the surrounding countryside lends itself to adrenaline, endorphins and of course relaxation. I never feel judged when I turn up in my scruffs as a solo guest - so treating myself to a weekend away from "the city" is a treat. I leave feeling refreshed and alive with hope. The view. Well, enough said! It speaks for itself. Go and see your yourself!

Loved that I could spend time with my husband alone while kids were taken care of. The coffee station with the fire place in the restaurant lounge was our favourite spot as a couple. I managed to peacefully read a book too while listening to the waves crashing on the rocks. Service was excellent, all meals were great. Absolutely enjoyed the tennis court too.

The location of the hotel is truly beautiful, offering scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere. However, the structure itself is quite old and clearly in need of maintenance. Although it is rated as a 4-star property, in reality it feels more like a 3-star, and the price paid does not match the level of service and facilities offered.||The tennis courts are in poor condition and would benefit from proper upkeep. The children's playroom has a noticeable musty smell, which makes it feel neglected. On a positive note, the staff members who take care of the children are very kind and attentive.||Food is served buffet-style and is of average quality — nothing exceptional, but acceptable.||Overall, while the location is a highlight, the hotel falls short in terms of infrastructure and value for money.

Our second stay at Crawford's Beach Lodge and once again, everything was absolutely perfect. Their service was excellent and all staff are friendly, the meals were home-cooked and outstanding, rooms were great and everyone made our stay simply the very best. Thank you Mark and your crew for another great time enjoyed by us all. I highly recommend this beautiful family resort right on the beach.

I was at Crawford’s Beach Lodge for my friend’s wedding, the location is stunning, it looks like you’re in a movie! All staff members are friendly and extremely welcoming, hospitality level is very high. It’s a family business and the owners Lynn and Mark were always there to make us feel part of the family.
