I ordered the Combo #3: Mild Slider and Medium Tender. I didn't notice a difference in spice levels between the medium and mild. Medium is a good spice level without being overwhelming. However, if you don't like spice, go Country Style. The seasoning itself is fine. I wasn't crazy for it, but it's not bad. It tastes good in their sauce, but you need two sauces to finish the meal and $1 for another sauce is highway robbery. The Fries are the best item I had. Well seasoned and crispy. I wish I had gone with the Crazy Fries instead. I'm also interested in trying their burgers.
The service was fine. The two guys working here were pleasant and friendly. Food took about 10-15 minutes to come out, which I have zero problems with (especially because it was fresh), but some other reviews mention crazy fast service. Ignore the juiced scores there and you won't go in with false expectations.
It's a smaller dining area, but cozy and clean. There's a TV running Fox Sports (I'm sure they'll play whatever sport channel you want). Crazy D's tasted better than Dave's Hot Chicken, but not as good as Houston Hot Chicken or Pretty Bird. The prices feel a tad high for the value. Overall, I thought it was a mid-tier experience, and I wouldn't avoid eating here again, but would change my order.
