We stayed at The Fox at Hurley for two evenings. What a pleasure! Ian and Vanessa are very welcoming and accommodating as are the women that work with them in the Farm Shop where we had breakfast. The rooms are super clean, cozy and comfortable, and the whole interior of The Fox is full of character. The building is located on a road that is not a through road so very quite. It is located only a five minute walk away from the Thames with pretty walks along the Thames in both directions, with a bridge that crosses over to an island and a walk by a lock. In the other direction is the village, again only a few minute to get to pubs/restaurants, both of which were a pleasure to visit and have a drink/meal. If we ever travel to the area again we would definitely stay at The Fox at Hurley.

We were the first people to stay here under the new management. The rooms have been refurbished to a high standard, comfy and clean, great shower. |Breakfast is next door in the village shop/cafe. A bit idiosyncratic, but they are learning on the job! |Overall a good experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

If it were possible to leave 0 stars, I would. The place itself looked nice, but my experience was awful. The heating didn’t work at all, and I had two terrible nights of sleep — waking up around 5am both nights absolutely freezing. There was also no hot water, which was only temporarily fixed after I reported it the first morning, but the same issue happened again the next night. It’s completely unacceptable to rent out a property without working heating or hot water, especially in cold weather. What should have been a comfortable stay turned into two sleepless, miserable nights. Very disappointing.

We had a wonderful stay at the Crazy Fox when we were in Hurley for a friend's wedding. The room and the hotel were spotless and completely charming. Beautiful breakfast offering and when I mentioned that I had a carbohydrate allergy they accommodated me with generosity. Bed was lovely and soft too! Strongly recommend to anyone who fancies a visit.

Just returned from our inaugural stay at the Crazy Fox Hotel in Hurley, and I have to say previous reviews were spot on! What a gem, set close to the River Thames, and in a lovely village close to Henley and Marlow. Stayed in the Den, absolutely clean as a new pin, comfortable and quiet (even though the main road is outside). Breakfast delicious, and Tina so attentive to your needs. The keypad entry so much easier than carrying keys around. Definitely return to this B&B; so much more to explore in the area. Thank you Tina for such an enjoyable stay!

Just wonderful. Loved the place, loved Hurley the village (charm impersonated), loved the weather and the walks on the banks of the Thames. Hurley was perfectly located (easy drives to Windsor, London and the countryside). A very comfortable bed in a well-equipped room. Watch out for a very generous breakfast!

We had a brilliant stay and Emma made sure that everything was perfect for us. Such a charming little spot and we went on a lovely sunset walk. |We were staying here to go to The Hand and Flowers and it was a great location. |Very quiet area compared to Marlow but works for us. Definitely recommend to those considering booking, breakfast in our room on a tray was a lovely touch x

DO NOT BOOK! I made a reservation in May for two rooms in early October for the night before my daughter's wedding.|Full payment was taken from my card three weeks ago, however ten days ago I received an email to say my booking had been cancelled. No explanation, no apology. NO REFUND. I have called and emailed the hotel numerous times but I've had no response. With no funds to book anywhere else I will have to traffic 88 miles on the morning of the wedding. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from the hotel. Again, I must reiterate; DO NOT BOOK!

Yelp
Stayed for one night with my wife as we had a dinner reservation at the Hand and Flowers. After being met at the door by the very friendly Emma, we were shown to our room "The Warren"; an immaculately decorated and furnished collection of rooms comprising of an initial small room with a desk and lamp and a short landing connecting the bedroom and bathroom. Emma booked us a taxi for the evening and gave some recommendations for where to go in the afternoon for lunch. Nothing was too much bother, the room was immaculate and the location gorgeous. Will definitely return. Thank you.
