Crazy House - Hang Nga Villa

Loved this for one of our Da Lat activities today! So much fun! It was quite a unique experience - some very high parts, but so worth it even if you are a bit scared of heights. Would highly recommend, it was cool. I thought it was reasonably priced too.

Very nice and unique. One of its kind in the world. During the night and day before the place was opened to visitors, the place was very very quiet and serene. Definitely will stay here again if visiting Dalat. Not too expensive. The room was very interesting, the shower was hot (definitely needed cos the place was cold). Different room sizes to fit different visitors

A visit to the Crazy House in Da Lat is a truly unique experience! The building has a very strange and amazing design, with narrow alleys, wooden bridges, and a shape that resembles a giant tree. Every corner offers interesting photo spots and beautiful views of the city. Although quite challenging with steep stairs and a rather narrow area, the experience is definitely worth it. This place gives a different impression and is perfect for architecture and photography lovers. A destination that will definitely make your visit to Da Lat even more memorable!

Crazy House is something you absolutely can’t miss if you’re in Da Lat! Crazy House is so great, the architecture is insanely creative, and totally different to anything else I’ve seen before. It feels like you’re stepping into different little worlds as you wander through all the buildings and twisty walkways that connect together. I’m terrified of heights so parts of it were a bit scary for me (those narrow bridges had me clinging on to the stairs and railings) but it feels safe and there’s no real chance of falling. And it’s 100% worth going up to the viewpoints — the views over the city are amazing. There are loads of places downstairs to sit and chill too, grab a drink or an ice cream and just take it all in. Such a fun, unique spot!

I stayed overnight in one of the hotel rooms 🏨 — and that completely changed the experience. At night, when the crowds leave, Crazy House becomes quiet, mysterious, and almost dreamlike. Crazy House – Da Lat, Vietnam My visit to Crazy House in Da Lat was one of the most memorable travel experiences I’ve ever had! This incredible architectural masterpiece feels like stepping into a fairy-tale world — its winding staircases, organic shapes, and surreal design make every corner a surprise. The buildings resemble something out of a dream, with curves and forms inspired by nature, creating an atmosphere that is both whimsical and inspiring.  Walking through its labyrinth-like corridors, I was constantly amazed by the creativity and imagination behind every detail. It’s more than just a building — it’s a living piece of art. Whether you’re exploring as a guest, staying overnight in one of the themed rooms, or simply taking photos, Crazy House offers a unique blend of artistic expression, fun, and wonder that you won’t find anywhere else.  The staff were welcoming and helpful, and I loved discovering new surprises around every corner. It’s truly a must-visit when in Da Lat, and I’ll definitely carry the memories of this magical place with me for years to come!

First off, I will say this is a MUST visit if you're in Da Lat. Absolutely amazing architecture and kind staff that will answer any question you may have. We stayed in the "Termite Room" for 1 night instead of 4. I will say the theme is on point and very cool. Although the room is very squishy, which is fair enough as it is the cheapest themed room. The shower is so close the the toilet that when you use it water goes all over. Quite a few mosquitos in the room and the bed is quite hard for westerner standards but that's to be expected haha. The reason we cut our stay short was the behaviour of the other guests. Despite the sign telling people DO NOT KNOCK people will bang on your window and try and get in. If you don't lock the door even while you're in people will walk in. There are non themed rooms the public can't get to and staff offered to switch us which is really nice. Having the place to yourself after hours is totally worth 1 night, just be careful booking multiple nights in a themed room. Even though I said we didn't need a refund for the other nights they kindly gave it anyway which is super sweet. To conclude, 100% worth a day trip, would recommend a night to get the place to yourself just don't expect privacy during opening hours unless you're in a non themed room :)

A fun place to visit! The architecture is quirky, and it was like we were exploring a maze. The “waterfall” there was interesting too! I recommend visiting early because it can get slightly crowded. The entrance fee was 80,000 VND :)
