Crazy House - Hang Nga Villa

I came here just to look at the architecture, the name says it all. Great views of surrounding area. Quirky style everywhere you look. Kids will want to stay all day. Bus loads of tour groups walk through on the weekend making it a little cramped and noisy.

Crazy House (Hang Nga Villa) in Da Lat is unlike anything I’ve ever seen — it feels more like stepping into a dream than visiting a regular building. The architecture is wild, full of twisting stairways, tree-like structures, hidden corners, and rooms that look straight out of a fantasy movie. Every turn reveals something unexpected, so it’s both playful and a little surreal. Walking around feels like being inside a giant piece of art, and it’s definitely a spot that makes for unique photos. Some paths are quite narrow and steep, so you’ll want to wear comfortable shoes. Overall, Crazy House is less about luxury and more about the creativity and imagination behind it. If you’re in Da Lat and want a fun, quirky experience, this place should be on your list.

Amazing place! This not only a place to visit as a museum, but an amazing possibility to stay here as in a hotel! And believe me, it's 100% worth it! Possibility to walk around the house when there is nobody there, make all the wonderful fotos on the sunset or on the sunrise - it's so unique and so impressive! Quality of the rooms, need sheets, cleanliness, stuff attitude - all is perfect. And it's definately an incredible example of art masterpiece! Thank you so much for my second visit!

It has a lot of stairs and ways you can go, the decorations are elaborate and make for good pictures. While i agree the layout can be confusing for people, as long as you have a decent inner compass and mapping ability, its not that hard to see trough. And if you can you will have seen most of the important places in about 20 minutes. It might be longer if you inspect and search for all the statues and pieces of art. All in all its quite small and does not live up to the hype on this review page, but its not a bad visit either I uploaded a few pgotoa of the many things i saw

Very nice and unique. One of its kind in the world. During the night and day before the place was opened to visitors, the place was very very quiet and serene. Definitely will stay here again if visiting Dalat. Not too expensive. The room was very interesting, the shower was hot (definitely needed cos the place was cold). Different room sizes to fit different visitors

Visited this place a couple of times over the years including recently and everything looks the same meaning they have done an excellent job maintaining the place. It is indeed a unique place to visit with so many spots to explore. We couldn't keep pace with our kids including the 5yo who was zooming everywhere. Some places appear quite dangerous with low railings which made me quite anxious the whole time but thankfully our 10yo was always with our 5yo to supervise otherwise it is not a safe place to let young kids roam freely due to this factor. They loved it so much and we had to prise them away to leave once it was getting dark. This is a must see attraction whenever in Dalat although the heights can be dizzying for those fearful of heights. Take the time to also read through the walls of newspaper articles about the construction and development of the Crazy House over the years - the history is very interesting to read.

One of my favorite places to visit. I'm not sure that I would personally stay here, but if I had kids, it would definitely be a spot to consider. You can just visit and see the archietcture of the spot. That is a no brainer that one must do. They do have a cute cafe in the back to enjoy after you've climbed all over the architecture. Truly a unique spot that makes you realize how much we have not even begun to consider what's possible in the way of human creation and imagination. If everyone had the same mind as the architect who built this spot, what an amazing world it would be. Hard not be inspired here. Def worth the visit.

It’s more like a mini theme park with a fantasy thriller theme, featuring scary narrow walkways and staircases throughout and connecting building in the premise. It not so much of activity but wandering around it the first time may give you a thrilling impression of a scary maze. There no game or ride though. Many people come to just taking photos. Given it long history dated back almost 35 years ago by a passionate architect, it worth visiting just to see and let your imagination wander. Another positive that this place locate right in the city center.
