1 | My girlfriend and I spent one night at the hostel in a private room. It’s within walking distance from the city center and offers a decent standard. 2 | Our private room was quite small but basically well-equipped. My only complaint is the lack of power outlets — the few that were there were placed too high, making it inconvenient to charge a phone. 3 | The cleanliness of both the room and the shared bathrooms and toilets was sufficient. We didn’t use the kitchen at all. 4 | Parking in front of the hostel is very limited. We managed to find a free parking lot near the bus station, about a 10-minute walk away. 5 | The hostel staff are very friendly and speak good English. Both check-in and check-out were completely smooth. 6 | The hostel has a nice terrace, but it could use some renovation. A refreshed terrace would enhance the whole place and make it feel even more welcoming.

nice room and central! staff were helpful however not always super around. ||there were also lots of nice communal areas. ||as windows open/lights on 24/7 lots of mosquitoes indoors. ||If you want to do washing, know that the laundry closes in the afternoon and there is no tumble drier, this caused problems as we got caught in a storm and clothes were soaked.

Pros: - Short distance from bus station - Spacious lockers - Beds are comfortable and have privacy curtains - AC in room - Friendly staff - Nice outdoor patio Cons: - Bathroom is shared between multiple rooms, not 1 bathroom per room - The bathroom stalls don't have doors, just curtains which can't be locked - I was on the toilet with the curtain closed and a cleaner came into the washroom and opened it??? He apologized but still crazy that it happened. You'd think they'd they see the closed curtain and ask if it's occupied first before opening it - Very strange rule that you aren't allowed to stay in the common areas like the outdoor patio after checking out. If you want to hang out after checking out, you need to pay €10 per person to stay until 5pm.

Should be named from crazy hostel to “no hostel”. Arrived an hour early, 34 degrees outside, tired, sick. Asked to sit inside in the AC and maybe use a little WiFi. Both of them answered simultaneously “no!”. In 50 countries and hundreds of accommodations I’ve never had one tell me I can’t sit and wait for check in if I arrived early. No shower gel or even hand wash in the toilets. Asked to do laundry, told I can do it next morning. Go next morning, told I’m checking out soon so it’s not possible. Another no. I guess I’ll leave with my big bag of dirty clothes and hit the road. Heard them complaining about this summers tourists. Well if you’re unhappy maybe it’s time to sell up and move on instead of making others unhappy too?

After checking out I came back to take my bag, I asked the lady if I could wait there until the time of my bus (around 30 minutes), To my surprise she said no. The reception was empty and all I wanted was to sit there a bit since it was very hot outside. She proceeded saying that: 'I was not a guest anymore so I should wait somewhere else.' There were plenty of seats and even a backyard where I could stay for a bit without bothering anyone, there was no one checking in either so there was no reason for not letting me sit there and wait. I was a guest but apparently once you check out they don't want to help or be kind to you anymore. Very dissatisfied with this hostel.

Haven't met such rude, unhelpful staff in a long while. Verging on embarrassing that they're in a customer facing role. Save yourself the hassle and visit a better hostel in Pula. Of which there are plenty.

I really enjoyed my stay there! The staff was friendly, the 4 beds room was nice. You also have nice shared spaces to meet with other people, with a nice yard. You are close to the city center and the port, but it's still very quiet! I definitely recommend it!
