Been here in Myrtle Beach for almost three years and have talked about going on a gulfstream trip but never made it until my wife bought my son and I tickets for Father’s Day. I can’t believe what I was missing. Crazy Sisters crew were absolutely amazing. Alex, David, Brian, and Rodger were amazing and fun. They worked extremely hard to keep everyone in the water and fishing. Big kudos to Captain Robert for keeping us on the fish the entire trip. Non stop action. I have been on many head boat and was very impressed. This hands down was probably the best fishing I have ever experienced. I want to give a special thanks to Alex and David for guiding my son and landing a 5 foot barracuda. You were by his side the whole time he reeled it in. An experience of a lifetime for him. If you guys see this yes he did out fish me again. I will get him next time. Thanks again and we will see you soon.

We took our entire family- group of 12. This was the best part of our trip! Captain Scott should definitely have his own comedy show! We did not get to see any dolphins this trip but we had a close sighting of a sea turtle which is very rare! Even though we couldn’t find any dolphins- this trip was absolutely amazing! The adults and the kids (3,5,7,10) loved it! We were able to create core memories with them!

Google
My family of 5 did the sunset dolphin cruise. We didn't see any dolphins which upset my youngest. But we did have a perfect view. The gentlemen were very polite. We got to see a blue crab and several other ocean animals they had on board.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! I booked an 8 hour continental shelf fishing trip and it was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we stepped on board, the captain was dialed-in he knew exactly where the fish where and wasted no time putting us right on them. It was non stop action all day long-hook after hook, fish after fish! What truly made the trip memorable, though, were the first mates. These guys were top notch- super knowledgeable, hardworking, and made everyone feel like family. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or brand new to fishing, they are patient, helpful, and just a blast to be around. The boat was clean, well equipped, and perfectly suited for a day on the water. Between the great vibes, the full coolers, and the unbeatable crew, I can honestly say this was a 10/10 experience. I’ll definitely be back-and I’m bringing more people with me next time. Highly recommended 🎣 🔥

Oh My Goodness!!!!! The VME Sunset Dolphin Cruise on the Crazy Sister 2 was amazing. The weather was just right for a day on the ocean. And yes, we were not disappointed we did see dolphins in the water. The trip was about an hour and half from start to finish. The sunset was beautiful and all the pictures we took will mark a wonderful time we had. The staff and crew were very friendly and funny. This is a must do again in the future. All in all it was fabulous. Thank you for an awesome time. Ms. White from Columbus, GA

Yesterday evening we went to tour on a boat to see dolphins, we didn't see any dolphins because of the storm. But this trip didn't disappoint us. All the staff on the boat made us enjoy the boat ride out into the ocean. Everyone was so nice. Even though we didn't see any dolphins, it was still a lot of fun. We will come again next year.

Google
Wow! What a fantastic dolphin cruise! We had a blast and saw pod after pod of dolphins! Captain Scott was amazing and made our cruise very enjoyable and Lexi his first mate was very knowledgeable and informative about dolphins and sea turtles. As a local, Crazy Sisters Marina is by far my favorite cruise and fishing spot and I love bringing my family and friends because I know they will have a wonderful experience. The ladies in the gift shop are sweet and very helpful too!

Google
Overall, a wonderful experience! Booked Hidden Agenda, a private fishing charter for my kids to enjoy. Got to the dock and met up with Captain Ty and his crew mate. They were both incredibly pleasant, helped my kids on the boat, explained what to expect and off we went to fish. We didn’t make it very far and he got a call that we were supposed to be on a different boat due to an overbooking. Back to the dock we went! Got off that boat and stepped onto an older boat with a gentleman, Pete. Off we went again! Pete was amazing!! Incredibly patient with my two young kids, taught my teen several different fishing things, explained about every single fish we caught, and was just overall an amazing captain. Thanks for an amazing day! Minus the confusion in the beginning, the day was an overall success. We will be back in the spring when it’s a better fishing season.

Yelp
What an epic red snapper fishing trip. These guys know what they are doing. The captain and crew were awesome! I will never go on the Voyager again! This is what a grada A operation looks like.

Yelp
I went out on this fleet a few years ago and had a great time. On 08/11 I booked an 11 hour trip on the Crazy Sister for 08/22. I also booked a trip with the Hurricane Fleet to go out on 08/21. This was going to be a (3) day trip for just fishing. So I booked my hotel. A few days after the bookings Hurricane Erin Developed . However, I was outside of my cancellation window and had to wait for the charters to cancel. Hurricane Fleet cancelled (5) days later which allowed me to cancel my hotel reservation if I needed to. I stayed in contact with Crazy Sister who stated they were still going out on 08/22. Even though the weather report still showed inclement weather. I kept in contact with them until I left from Atlanta. On 08/22 I drove 20 miles from my hotel to check-in and was advised the trip had been cancelled. You see instead of cancelling the trip like Hurricane Fleet and notifying everyone via phone and/or email, they kept the reservations open to the last minute. The reason for this is if the customer cancelled or did not show, it would be on the customer and no refund is given. However, if they cancelled then a full refund is given. Really jacked up. If they would have cancelled in a timely manner, I could have rescheduled and saved myself time off from work, hotel fees and gas. So, if you see inclement weather in the forecast anywhere near a date you want to go out with Crazy Sister... Don't! Crazy right?

Yelp
Had an amazing time with the crazy sister Marina! Please arrive 30 minutes early depending on your boat time it will take forever to park. Forever ! It is located by a bunch of really cool restaurants, I went through the dead dog restaurant. It has live music and if arrive early enough then you are able to grab a drink or something to bring with you on the boat tour. The boat offers drinks on board such as water, beer, wine, seltzer, etc nothing is over $6. The staff are very nice and accommodating. I originally booked for the sunset ocean tour but the area was experiencing bad weather and we were unable to go to the beach. They reached out and offered me to change to a different tour around the same time and also refunded me the difference.

Yelp
First impressions- parking is ample and validated...you just need a keyword from them. Office is located in the same building as Wicked Tuna (to the right and up the stairs). With bad weather coming in a few days, they took it upon themselves to reschedule our tour so we could get it in...great customer service. The tour was with Blue wave tours and they were awesome! It took a while, but we finally saw dolphins! The tour guides were very knowledgeable and the boat ride was awesome. Glad we got a chance to go out before the weather took hold.

Yelp
Fished the 11 hour trip. We had a good time. The boat us right on the fish. Big amberjacks, trigger fish and snappers. The crew was great. I was visiting from FL and i will be back

Molly K.

Yelp
Loved our sunset dolphin cruise. The crew was top notch and the views were wonderful.

Yelp
Went on the sunset dolphin cruise and It was smooth and enjoyable. The only thing missing was music. We got to see the sunset and dolphins. They gave a nice performance for us. The lady at the counter was wonderful. The site said they were sold out so I glad we checked at the counter. Parking Is stamped. We parked out of the lot to avoid any headaches and walked. Be careful for anyone with disabilities. There are wet ramps and stairs

Kimberly H.

Yelp
Our fishing trip with Captain Blake, with the Silver Tuna Sports Fishing, was wonderful.

Yelp
We had not been fishing for a while, so we picked Crazy Sister because it was close to our hotel in Garden City. Everyone was very nice, and we did tip well for that... But the HUGE LET DOWN is that the fish hooks were dull. Wish I had brought my own hooks or a sharpener...but we were ALREADY PAYING FOR THAT... Oh, the fish were definitely biting, but the hooks were so ridiculously dull that I tried to stab my finger, and it was impossible. Really folks with what you charge and the tips we provided... SHARPEN THE DANG HOOKS. I ocean fish and ALWAYS catch. Definitely will drive back to Little River next time. Highly dissatisfied when it could have been a wonderful catching day if the equipment had been kept up appropriately. Fix the problem.

Jay V.

Yelp
Always a good time. Great crew a fun bunch of guys. Always put us on the fish. Like I always say TUNA!

Yelp
I booked a 11 hr gulf stream fishing trip for 3 people for a Thursday since this is the only time I could go. Well they called me on a Thursday night around 8 pm telling me the trip was cancelled so I reserved the following Thursday to go fishing, they cancelled that trip, the reason? They said they didn't have enough people. I requested my money back so in reading their rules, they said it could take up to 30 days. When I booked the trip it never once said if we don't have enough people we are going to cancel your trip. This is a very bad business practice and if you ask me these people are greedy so I would never recommend these people to anyone unless you like to get the run around and if you cancel you could be out of your money for 30 days.

Jerry` P.

Yelp
Tremendous customer service and our captain and first mate were the best! We did a 4 hour expedition on the Silver Tuna. We caught about 20 fish in the first hour! One of our boat's engines went out and we had to head back a bit early. The crew was great with communication and the company took care of us. My kids had an amazing time, even with the shortened time and we felt taken care of by the staff. I would highly recommend them.

Jaclyn M.

Yelp
Horrible customer service. Cancelled my boat rental within 5 minutes of booking because this location is nowhere near north Myrtle beach and the owner Megan said no worries I got you I will cancel that. Then does the opposite and charges me 2 days later as a No show. Called back, and all they do is lie. I have my call log showing we spoke several times, I confirmed we won't be charged corecct? And again "yes no worries I got you." The point is I would have came to the hour drive boat rental the next day had she said it's non-refundable. Why would I waste $500 ??? You can't trust the managers over the phone word anymore! Horrible way to run a business on deceit and lies, don't give them your business. Disputed the charges with my credit company! I'd give a zero if I could. Crazy sisters is an accurate business name!

Danny S.

Yelp
Crazy Sister Marina takes advantage of their patrons by letting a third party sell the tickets while Crazy sister takes most of the money, letting the ticket sales company advertise a promised guarantee that is not explained except in an obscure location. We didn't see any dolphins, and we had too turn back because of rough water and we got offered 10% back or free return tickets withing 7 days, but we live 3.5 hours away!

Just T.

Yelp
My family booked a dolphin tour from Crazy Sister Marina and was super excited to see dolphins. On our tour we had to go to a whole different area to get our tickets printed and checked in just so they could advertise for the Wyndham hotel company. They asked us to go watch a presentation of Wyndham for $100 back and free dinner. While that was a good deal we couldn't go watch it because we had other plans anyway so it was just a waste of time. The trip itself was mostly fine and quick except for a few minutes where there were high strong waves. On the website they say there is guaranteed dolphins and at the start a guide said you can see foxes and turtles on the banks as well. But 30 minutes in, it wasn't looking promising because we hadn't seen a single one. By the end we didn't even see a dolphin and were quite disappointed. I gave this 2 stars because all of the crew was kind, funny, and entertaining. The view was pretty though not worth $175 but still pretty enough to make for some nice photos. In conclusion, this tour was a waste of time and money, was rough at times, a total lie, had a decent view, and terrible pricing.

Yelp
"Guaranteed dolphin sightings" Did not see any dolphins on my dolphin cruise and our boat turned around very early because of rain. Disappointed.

Yelp
Captain Robert on the Fish Finder 2 killed it yesterday!! He put us right on the fish and we came home with dinner. If those barracudas had hit that would have really been something. Thanks for the spades we made those tacos you recommended

Katy P.

Yelp
Mark and Amy on the boat were incredible!!! They were super friendly to all of us on the boat. Mark told us all sorts of facts and stories about the dolphins and the land around us. Their passion around protecting the dolphins and conserving the environment is very apparent! We saw lots of dolphins and the boat ride was absolutely lovely. The only reason I can't give this five stars is because the people working the front desk were incredible rude!! They dramatically rolled their eyes and make rude comments to the customer in front of me. They were rude and sarcastic to me. It's a shame that such a good excursion was downgraded because of their rudeness. Boat Ride Experience: 5/5 Admin Experience: 0/5

Yelp
Booked the dolphin tour for four people. To start, our tour started late with no explanation. We left 15 minutes past our booked time. And Unfortunately our tour didn't see any dolphins, which I understand is out of their hands. However many reviews complimented the guides and how interactive they were. We did not get that experience which was truthfully more disappointing than not seeing dolphins. The guides did not talk to us at all. There was no interaction with the passengers from anyone working on the boat. At the minimum I would hope they would educate us about dolphins, local wildlife, the history, something at all. It was weird to just be sitting there waiting for something to happen and get nothing. Would not recommend at all.

Yelp
Great Capt.and crew!!Caught lots of vermillion snapper, trigger fish and amaco jacks and other species on a 11 hour gulf trip.I highly recommend!
google avatar

Gina V.

Yelp
Unfortunately NO dolphins were detected on the trip. They did try to sell us a picture on a nice plaque for $20 and save the ocean bracelets for $24! I would suggest a voucher to return that day if able or a free photo for the inconvenience !

Stacy D.

Yelp
Fun time on a dolphin watch. The captain was a great story teller and stayed out long enough for us to see several dolphins!

Fernando S.

Yelp
I am literally writing a five star review for an experience that never occurred! We're visiting family from NJ and this isn't our first time going to SC, but we have a 3 year old and it's time to do some fun things. We found Crazy Sisters on a search for dolphin watching and our son has been on a boat previously. We even came prepared with his own life vest so there was no need to worry about sizing. Driving from two hours away in Sumter at 7am, we were all excited. Somehow I missed the call for cancelation and didn't see it until we arrived. I walked in and was greeted with smiles, something we're not always used to in NJ. The staff was obviously sympathetic to our situation and of course safety is always paramount to having a good time. We totally understood and rescheduled for the following day and made the best of it. Que next day! Sun is out, weather is warmer than the day before. We're excited! We get the dreaded phone call for the cancelation. Again, super sympathetic and there's nothing that can be done about the weather. The young woman on the phone said she would expedite the refund since we were only staying a few short days and had other activities scheduled. We definitely look forward to coming back just based on how helpful the staff was!

Yelp
NOTE: We rented a Pontoon for a half-day. The employees here are fantastic, and the location is pretty darn nice for nature and sightseeing too! However, the pontoon we booked was definitely on the grungy side. We likely wouldn't rent a pontoon from here again, but we'd probably give one of their other options a try. PROS: -Staff was really friendly. The staff seemed pretty knowledgeable about boats and what they're doing. They were able to talk me through using the boat after a quick refresher course, and they were able to talk me through helping them park the boat too. Some added information would have been nice, but there were a couple stickers inside the boat on the dashboard that helped with figuring out "rules of the sea". -Location is nice. Since the Murrell's Inlet is a small marsh area, there is tons of animal life around. You'll see tons of birds, and we saw a couple dolphins during our morning journey. It seemed easiest to catch peeks of the wildlife at low tide first thing in the morning when we came in, but there was still a lot of birds and animals out towards noon as well. -Crazy Sister's area has a bathroom (pretty clean!) in it in addition to having a small shop full of merchandise. CONS: -The pontoon we rented was on the extremely grungy side. The seats were caked in black dirt, the on-board stereo system didn't seem to work, and one of the chairs was just broken. In addition, the steering was extremely loose - requiring multiple turns just to get the smallest inch of curve. All of the gauges were almost entirely unreadable. The Pontoon's poor shape was really the main complaint of our experience. It's possible they were booked solid and gave us their last possible pontoon when we came in, but I have no idea. This one needs a serious scrubdown and lots of love before it's ready for sightseeing tourists. -This isn't something the business can really "help", but there's not a whole lot of move-around space to play with the pontoon either. You'll make it down the river and be stuck in a (relatively small) triangular area to boat in circles since you can't make it into the ocean. This isn't the end of the world, but if your plan was to "go fast!", you might not enjoy the spot where this marina is located. This spot is definitely more of a "set the boat down and enjoy being on a boat" type.

Yelp
Amazing boat ride with lots of dolphins. Even without the dolphins the views were great and the ride adventurous. Captain was very friendly and he found a large pod with uo close views. Best boat tour I've been on.

Jackson J.

Yelp
Went on a Dolphin tour we saw no Dolphins. Bring motion sickness medicine as none is available. Cash only

Yelp
Awesome trip fishing. Captain and first mate were top notch. Caught a couple trolling and then caught dinner bottom fishing. Had my kids with me and they loved it!
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Wow! Just wow! Greatly enjoyed this dolphin sight seeing tour! Watched many dolphins jump right out of the water. Boat gets you as close as they possibly can to the dolphins. Informative and educational. A must for kids!

Jolly J.

Yelp
I took my son out fishing on a their head boat for a 9 am to 5 PM offsfore fishing this week. The ride was comfortable, service was great. Had fun time fishing on the reefs, we got decent catch of sea bass and vermillion red snapper.,The mates were helpful wherever we has a real or tangle problem. Most people caught fish, may be it was one of those good fishing days. My son enjoyed his first sea fishing trip and was excited and enthusiastic about fishing...

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful experience. Took my family out on a Dolphin Watch trip and it was fantastic. All my kids loved it and the Captain was just amazing. Had a wonderful time. Would definitely do it again

Yelp
Family and I booked a 1/2 day fishing trip on their Head Boat (5 people). Prior to getting on the boat you will be harassed by a gentleman with a camera to pose for a group picture so you can be again harassed regarding the purchase of a picture upon your return trip. The weather was excellent and once on the boat the ride was pleasant. Once we arrived at our first fishing spot I baited my hooks and dropped the line. The first cast I spent several minutes untangling line from the reel because whoever used it the day prior didn't know how to reel the line on a bait cast reel and the line was extremely tangled. I was also unable to set the drag on the reel so even if I did hook something big it would have broken the line. I was told by the crew the reel probably had sand & salt in it and needed cleaning. Not acceptable! During the trip back we were approached by the crew and harassed for TIPS!! Of course this was accomplished in front of all the rest of the passengers in order to make us feel guilty if we didn't TIP. TIPS are given as an individual chooses based on services rendered not demanded! Suggestion! Instead of harassing the passengers for tips how about the crew take the time to check the equipment and make necessary repairs/adjustments or replacements for the next set of passengers. This will keep the equipment in good working order. Equipment with problems can be repaired onboard or taken off the boat and repaired locally. I personally didn't TIP however, had I not been harassed and a TIP bucket, basket, cup, container, etc. been placed near the exit of the boat I would have taken the opportunity to leave a few dollars. I know 4 others passengers felt the same as I. How many of the other 75-100 passengers would have TIPPED had they not been harassed? Give it a try!! This ends my and my family's charter fishing with Crazy Sisters.

Yelp
We had a great fishing trip on the 4th of July!! My mom has been following Crazy Sister on Facebook for awhile and was determined to plan a fishing trip for the family. They are located south of Myrtle Beach and in a great location close to hotels, restaurants and stores like Walmart, Target, etc. There is plenty of parking and its not a long walk from the boat dock. We easily went inside the Crazy Sister store and checked in for our fishing trip. There is a lot of supplies and apparel/souvenirs you can purchase in the store. We went behind the store and downstairs to get in line for the fishing trip. Our trip was a deep sea fishing trip from 9am-5pm which I believe they only do on Wednesdays. There are a variety of trips throughout the week. They start boarding the boat about 10-15 minutes before 9am and people get there early to start lining up. We arrived around 8am and there was at least 25-30 people already in line, people want to pick a good spot on the boat. The captain passed out a sheet with the weight requirements and the limits on each fish you could catch and keep. You will be fined by the Game Warden if they find you with fish that are in violation. Getting on the boat and picking a spot went smoothly. We put our ticket on the hook of the fishing pole where we wanted to sit. The boat we were on was able to sit about 100 people but luckily our boat only had about 60-65 people on it. There was about 5-6 boat crew that was there to help with anything you needed and they work off of tips. TIP THE BOAT CREW!! They are great and very knowledgeable. They are always walking around and they are very quick to help out. They helped us measure our fish, tell us what fish we caught and they untangled a lot of lines while we were fishing. The boat provides you everything you need, fishing poles, bait (they provide squid, you can purchase other bait on the boat or bring your own) and baskets to put the fish you caught in. You can purchase or bring your own hand towels (I highly suggest them), string to put your fish on ( they are $3) and snacks. They have drinks (sodas, waters, beer) and snacks to purchase on the boat. You can bring a soft cooler to bring your own drinks and snacks but it has to be SOFT! No hard coolers at all. They crew has 2 freezers to keep your fish cold during the entire trip, 1 in the front and 1 in the back of the boat. They give you a number and you pick your fish up at the end of the trip. The captain did a great job of finding good fishing spots and knowing when to leave if the fishing slowed up or they just wasn't biting. We caught, red snappers, sea bass, shark, amber jack and a few other random fish. They were pretty good size fish, a few we had to throw back because they were not big enough. They trip was great, our family loves fishing together and its hard to find a good charter boat. Tickets were about $100 to fish all day, deep sea. The boat was in good condition, plenty of covered seating. There was separate bathrooms. Only cons were it was a few isolated storms in the area so that made the ride very rough. For 2 hours of running those waves it can make you a little sea sick but its not the captains fault. Thankfully the boat wast crowded to the 100 person capacity or it might of been annoying being so close to the people beside you and getting your line tangled several times. Overall we loved the fishing trip and we already trying to plan our next one!

Yelp
NEVER AGAIN! if I could give zero stars I would. We have been renting pontoon boats from this Marina for half day fishing trips each year for about a decade for our annual family reunion trip to SC. It has gone down hill every year and I am not going back. Over the past several years we have rented two boats so we spend a lot of money. The boats are in shabby condition and the past two years we have had to been helped back into the dock because of problems with the boats (this year the steering cable broke and last year the engine wouldn't go up so got caught on a sand bar). Another frustration and disappointment is that they are ill equipped every single year to rent us fishing poles. Again, we have two boats full of people (total of 16) and they could only rent us 5 poles of which only 2 worked. The canopy on one boat was in absolute shreds...the whole operation is shabby!!!!!

Lisa P.

Yelp
Great dolphin watch for kids 3 and up.... My family loved it! They also just got brand new pontoon boats for 2021. My husband loved driving it around!

Morgan C.

Yelp
We went for the dolphin tour yesterday- we had a large group and were all able to sit next to each other which was great. Nicole was very kind and Captain Jamie was incredibly knowledgeable about the marine life. We saw a TON of dolphins and had an awesome time. Captain Jamie told some great jokes and stories, and it was an all around wonderful and positive experience. 10/10 would recommend :-)

Yelp
Awful experience. Booked the Sidekick 1/2 day private fishing charter. Went to marina in person to schedule and paid ($700) the day before our trip. The woman at the desk told us to be at the marina by 7am for a 7:30am launch. We arrived at 6:30am and checked in. Waited until 7:30am and the boat crew never showed up. We went into the marina again, just to find out they never told the boat owner he was booked. Terrible process all around. We Waited until after 8am and they still didn't show up. Boat owner Finally got there without a helper, would have been another hour + before we got out. Apologized but didn't offer to stay out longer or anything. Ended up leaving with two VERY sad kids. Very unorganized, poorly run, over priced and TERRIBLE customer service. Do not book here u will be disappointed. :( I'd give ZERO stars if it was an option

Yelp
BEWARE...don't make plans with them...they will CANCEL!! 2 nights in a row our reserved and paid sunset cruise was canceled! 7/5/19 & 7/6/19, we understood on the 5th but not on the 6th, their reason was not enough ppl signed up....so why not take those who have paid and planned for it for 2 days???!!!!! They called at 4:20 after we left the beach to go get ready etc..... very disappointing, ruining our afternoon....I will not recommend or book with them again!!!

Jake P.

Yelp
I would give this no stars if I could. They only care about money and here's why. First, they try to cram as many people on that boat as humanly possible, there had to be 50+ people on that boat. Second, it took AN HOUR AND A HALF out of the trip to go out all the way to the middle of the ocean to the point where there was no land to be seen. On a half day trip, an hour and a half is a pretty big chunk of time to be traveling all that way, not to mention having to travel all the way back by 12:30. Third, once we were out there, about 7-10 people were indoors in the cabin sick and throwing up including my sister. She had her line in the water for 5 minutes before she got sick and didn't fish for the rest of the time. There was no mention about the sea sickness up front when they made sure to tell us no refunds so we could prepare and reading these reviews it seems that this is a common theme on this specific charter. Fourth, and this ties in with the amount of people, almost everyone on the boat was getting snagged at the bottom with other people's lines from the other side of the boat. It was an annoyance and really cut into the very limited time we had. And the last thing and probably the worst, was the greed the mates had when they came into the cabin to collect their "tips." They started at all the people in the cabin who were sick shoving the bucket in my face while I was checking on my sister expecting me to give them more money for catching nothing. I actually felt sickened by this, because they knew very well that we had a terrible experience and still expected us to tip. I'm very generous and I always tip, but I just couldn't see myself tipping these guys for the terrible time we had to endure, my sister told me she was so relieved to get off that boat, and for the whole day she couldn't stop talking about how glad she was to be away from that boat. I've been on many fishing charters and I've never had an experience remotely close to this one. It's always about fun and catching fish which we always do, but this one was terrible. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy.

Yelp
Went on the deep sea fishing trip. It was incredibly hot and we didn't catch much which doesn't make for happy campers so to speak. It was also extremely crowded. There is no room to move and the lines are always getting tangled up. They should reduce the capacity some.

Yelp
We rented Jet skis today and had a great time. We are first timers on jet skis but felt very comfortable with two guides who took us out. The inlet was a little rough but nothing my daughters, 19 & 22 couldn't handle. This was their first time as well. Once we were outside in the ocean we were given some boundaries in where we could ride while the guides stood by for safety. I was so happy we did this... It was a blast. Crazy Sister is a first class marina

Yelp
I had family and friends in town and decided to take them on the blue wave adventures dolphin watch. It was such a relaxing boat ride and we even got to see a sea turtle! As a local I love hearing of businesses that are doing everything in their power to conserve our environment.

Yelp
This was the highlite of my trip to Myrtle Beach in 2013. My family and I went deep sea fishing and it was such a great experience. We felt safe the entire time, despite the very choppy water, and the staff onboard were really helpful anytime there was a tangled line or if we needed help getting the fish off the hook. If you catch the biggest fish you get a free fishing trip that can be used within 12 months... which my uncle won so we are VERY excited to be going on this adventure again.

Yelp
If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. We had a continental fishing trip planned for Wednesday, it got canceled. They called me to let me know Tuesday night. So we booked for the 11 he fishing trip on Friday. We arrived at 630am and no one was here. After they opened they informed us that the trip had been canceled yet no one called. They type my bfs number was put into the computer wrong apparently so they called the wrong and left a voicemail and didn't bother to call the secondary number in file (which they called on Tuesday). I wouldn't recommend anyone to book a trip through Crazy Sister Marina. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Yelp
Had a deep see fishing trip planned to the Gulf Stream. After 3 months of planning and a 6 hour trip to get here we were off for a whole day of fishing. One hour into an eleven hour trip one of the other boats from the marina had a mechanical failure and started taking on water. We had to stop and rescue the passengers and crew. No problem here, that had to be done. The problem was the fact that they decide to cancel our trip and return to the dock. No apologies from the captain or crew. Nothing!!!!!!!! Just go get your money back. Complete BULLSHIT!!!!!! I go deep see fishing in Destin, Fl every year, always a great experience with the captain and crew and all of the equipment. From reading some of the other reviews it seem like the marina is letting every thing go to shit!!!! If your taking vacation and spending your hard earned money. Go to Florida where they appreciate your business and go out of their way to give you the trip of a life time South Carolina will get no more of my money. I never give reviews but I thought other people needed to know what to expect when you come to this shit hole.

Yelp
Great facility friendly and helpful staff. Rented a skiff for a full day and had a great experience. Boat was a typical rental, some things were worn and not functional, but for the most part worth renting. Would rent from them again and will.

Yelp
When going to the Marshwalk or any restaurant in the marina, you definitely should walk out onto the boardwalk that juts way out into the marsh. It's totally free and the view is beautiful. Make sure to take a look over at Goat Island as you view the boats passing by or even fish with the local fisherman. There is a small bar right here in the marina, and restaurants and tourist attractions are accessible from the boardwalk, including parasailing, speed boat rides, jet ski and paddle board rentals, and sail boat rides. It's definitely great for a sunset walk after enjoying dinner on a date or with the family.

Yelp
Amazing!!! We were lucky enough to find Crazy Sister!! The staff is very professional and courteous. For first timers they are very patient and ensure that all of the safety is understood. We were fortunate that even though we were only doing the jet skis we were also able to see the dolphins while we were out. There is an area to hang out on the dock if you are just a spectator while you wait for everyone to get back. The area is surrounded by a lot of restaurants and bars. .

Yelp
My biggest issue with the experience was the global warming and anti-off-shore oil drilling propaganda fed to us on the way back to the dock. I didn't pay to hear someone's political opinions on how global warming is (or isn't) affecting the area, nor how off-shore drilling will affect the region. If they want to make their statement after the tour, on their own time if people are willing to listen, go for it. But don't force me to listen to it when I'm stranded on a boat. I didn't pay to be force fed their opinions. Will not return simply because of this. The trip was fine and the staff was very nice. A lot of the 90 minutes is spent traveling to and from the actual area(s) where dolphins MAY be found. I'm not sure how transparent they are up front about the possibility that no dolphins may be sited. To me, this was a given but do know it's possible that you may go out and see nothing. If you enjoy the boat ride for what it is, it's worth the money. If you're primarily paying to see dolphins, do note that even if you see them, it's not like an aquarium where they are right up in your face. They're going to be some ways away and you'll experience them from afar in their natural habitat.
