The 'Wellness Capital of Texas' Was Just Named America’s Best Small Spa and Wellness Town

"Just down the street from the hotel, the renovated Crazy Water Bath House & Spa offers mineral baths and spa treatments pumped with Crazy Water — oxygen-rich microbubbles are injected into the water to promote cleansing, exfoliation, and moisturization — and packages combine soaks with massages (Swedish, hot stone, deep tissue), reflexology, or facials; I found it reasonably priced, praised for its authenticity and quality, and like stepping into a vintage retreat updated for today." - Amanda Ogle Amanda Ogle Amanda Ogle is a writer and editor who specializes in travel, food and drink, sustainability, and general lifestyle topics. This place is absolutely divine! I’ve visited twice now, and both experiences were wonderful. The first time was for a bachelorette party, and Savannah was such a dream to work with scheduling was easy, and all of our services were fantastic. The second time I brought my husband, and he genuinely enjoyed the mineral bath and massage. I also have to mention Sylvia - she is incredibly talented and has given me some of the best massages of my life. The building itself has such a charming vibe, and every visit feels relaxing and special. These ladies truly know what they’re doing! Highly recommend.

What a gem of a place for relaxation. I got the Crazy Ahh and it was truly amazing! The hot tubs are in individual rooms and private, so don't worry about being nude in front of strangers. The microbubbles were soothing, and they give you a robe to use after the soak. I am a 2x and they had a robe that fit me, which I so appreciated! The massage was the best. The massage therapist verified my preferred pressure multiple times just to make sure my experience is enjoyable. I left feeling utterly rejuvenated, and will plan to return again in the future! Thank you Crazy Water Bath House and Spa!!

OMG. Get yourself to the Crazy Water Bath House and Spa! We were camping at Mineral Wells State Park and I booked a couples massage with “The Popular Choice” from the menu, which includes a mineral water bath, a 45 minute massage, and mineral water towel wrap. Honestly, the experience was fabulous. The mineral bath was wonderful and just added to the relaxation of the massage (which was one of the best I’ve had). Brandi and Audra really took care of us! We will definitely be making special trips from Fort Worth to book again. 😍

I had a wonderful experience at the bathroom house. My husband and I booked an appointment to soak in a mineral bath. It was very relaxing and the staff was amazing!

Wonderfully relaxing, in a charming, historic home. A perfect mini-retreat for a self-pamper afternoon. The Crazy Ahh package was worth every penny. Ask for Ashley. She was an amazing therapist, friendly and professional!

I love the story about crazy water so I visited last weekend and went to the spa. I’d go again. Everyone was so nice!

Yelp
This is a really cool place to go to for a relaxing day. Got one of the packages and every part of it was fantastic. Ashley worked really hard to make sure I had a relaxing experience. I'm definitely planning on going back.

Yelp
It's now Thursday and I am still enjoying the massage. I got at the crazy water spa on Monday. I did get the name of the masseuse wrong. She was Brandy. Don't know where the Savannah in my review came from. I doubt it. She told me she was from there because she was marvelously quiet while I meditated during my massage. I wish she worked in Azle.

Yelp
I had Savannah for an hours massage and she was really special. She said she had been doing massage for 10 years. From the start she took my request to be "medium to gentle" and not talk to me so I could meditate, and did exactly that. I would have liked that period. You can't understand the early 19th century of this town unless you stop for a soak or a massage. We went for a great weekend drive from Ft. Worth and found the beautifully renovated Crazy Waters Hotel (not the bigger Baker Hotel, whose renovation seems to have sadly slowed) which is across the promenade that once housed medical practices and lodgings for people who came "to take the waters". Mineral Wells was very prosperous then.
