Google
the whole calories thing on the menu kinda caught me off guard, especially considering this is an ice cream/desert shop lmao. anyways, the employee there was really friendly and helpful. i got the “cup of joe” flavor which i enjoyed, but the texture struck me as a bit stretchy? and the taste wasn’t that rich/it was a bit lacking. perhaps i should have ordered another flavor. but overall my experience here was good and i definitely wouldn’t mind coming back!

Google
10 years after first visiting CREAM and I still dream of their delicious ice cream sandwiches from across the Atlantic. So fresh and delicious and staff super friendly and kind. Even on very busy evenings! DELICIOUS

Oacia Fair

Google
This ice cream was great and the cookies tasted fresh. It’s not overpriced, in fact, it’s very affordable for great quality ice cream which is appreciated. I got the blueberry cheesecake ice cream and white macadamia nut cookies. I was also able to sample before I decided. I definitely recommend!

Ryoji Duey

Google
Hard cookie, soft ice cream. My first bite left me sticky and dissatisfied. The cookies smooshed together, and the ice cream was pushed completely out the sides. What I was left with was a mess, and 2 (mediocre) cookies.

Christine Johnson

Google
Delicious ice cream sandwiches made with fresh cookies and your choice of ice cream. They were vary generous with my scoops and I could only finish about half of mine. There are no seats for sitting, so we ordered and walked around with them.

Alethea D

Google
The mini cookie sandwich was rock hard. It almost broke my tooth it was so hard. Also the ice cream was liquid by the time she gave it to me. The server didn’t seem to know what was going on - we went at around 2:15 pm today.

Bill

Google
Freshly made cookies that you get to place a well rounded scoop of ice cream between. Start with one of 12ish different types of cookies then add one scoop of 15 or so different flavors of ice cream. They have vegan and gluten free options of cookies and ice cream. Not in the mood for an ice cream sandwich? They also have the typical ice cream parlor selections or a hand make waffle cone ice cream taco.

Gerardo Abril

Google
The woman that was working there was really helpful and accommodating to someone that knew nothing. Highly recommend the salted caramel ice cream, and the sandwich version was absolutely delicious. I went with the mini version because I was too full from my burger earlier. Worth a visit!

Yelp
This is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth! From the moment you walk in, the friendly service and welcoming vibe make the experience enjoyable. The freshly baked cookies are out of this world, warm and soft, making the perfect base for their delicious ice cream sandwiches. They offer a variety of flavors and combinations, and every bite is heavenly. The ambience is cozy and fun--whether you're grabbing a quick treat or hanging out with friends, it's always a great spot. It's been one of my go-to places for desserts, and the quality never disappoints. If you're craving a fresh, indulgent treat, CREAM is the place to be!

Yelp
The sweet treat spot. First impressions: limited seating inside, but not super busy when I went on a Wednesday at 5pm. I got a single scoop of Banana Walnut Fudge, and it was pretty good! Definitely sweet...I think a single scoop was just enough to not leave me feeling icky after consuming too much sugar, but two scoops probably would've done it. I really enjoyed the flavor though - didn't have that artificial banana flavor, more like banana bread plus some fudge and walnut chunks. I had a gift card for CREAM, so I used it here with no issue. But I do remember it being pretty pricey...around $5-6 for one scoop if I remember correctly. If I didn't have a gift card, not sure I would stop by. I typically don't frequent sweet-tooth-sugar dessert spots other than rare occasions, and I think CREAM is that type of place for me.

Ricca Cathrina E.

Yelp
Parking is definitely going to be a challenge. We got vanilla ice cream and brownie shake. We loved both and customer service was good. Place was organized.

Jessica K.

Yelp
Employees looked like college kids, which makes sense. They were nice enough. Probably ready to go home. I ordered an ice cream sandwich, as one does here. The cookies were hard, and the ice cream was super soft. So every time you take a bite, the ice cream squishes out. The churro ice cream is delightful. But I would probably just order it on its own next time. Shop is cute, I honestly don't remember if there was anywhere to sit. But we just got our order to go anyway. I might return. But won't go out of my way to do so.

Kezia S.

Yelp
Many options and a great way to cool off! Perfect way to satisfy my sweet tooth It's in an area with many restaurants so perfect place for a dessert after dinner Everyone working is also super nice!

Yelp
I love CREAM! Whenever im in the mood for ice cream, this is my go to. I usually opt for a double scoop and get the birthday cake flavor + something else. This time I did birthday cake and cookies n cream. The ice cream is very creamy and flavorful. I enjoy the mix ins in both of these flavors, especially the sprinkles in the birthday cake flavor. There isn't usually a line (unless it's a hot day) but regardless, you can get through pretty quickly. The inside of the shop is pretty cozy, but they do offer a few seats. I highly recommend checking it out!

Arya N.

Yelp
I first started coming to this location almost 12 years ago as a freshman. Back then, the line would stretch down the block and an ice cream sandwich cost $2. Since then, there are more locations around the Bay Area and the price for the sandwich has tripled. I still enjoy getting their ice cream sandwiches whenever I'm in town. Coming back to CREAM always reminds me of those late nights when I'd stop by with my friends, or grab one to go on my way to the library. They have a large menu, but I always stick with the ice cream sandwich. The chocolate chip cookies are good. In my opinion, the ice cream is just okay. I recently tried the strawberry ice cream and it tasted a little icy. Overall, I recommend trying this spot at least once if you're in the area.

Kelly C.

Yelp
If your employees aren't going to honor a voucher that was provided by the company then maybe you should stop sending them to customers. I showed the worker a certificate to redeem and it listed the Berkeley location as one of the participating locations and she had the gall to tell me their shop "doesn't do birthday vouchers anymore" despite recently receiving the coupon. Pathetic.

Rachel M.

Yelp
This was a favorite late night hangout many years ago with my friends - cookies and ice cream are some of my go-to desserts and thought it was a genius business idea. In the past, this place was super popular and lines were around the block. Currently, there are several locations around the bay, which helped with a better distribution of the fans and hopefully shorter lines! I would mix and match different cookie and ice cream flavors but some favorites were classic chocolate chip with vanilla or mint chocolate chip ice cream. The cookies were hit or miss with the baking consistency - sometimes they were warm/soft (how I liked them) but there were times when they were a bit over-baked and hard. Prices were decent but have since gotten more expensive. CREAM will always be a special place for me with nostalgic sweet memories!

Raven G.

Yelp
Fire I had to restrain myself from gulping the whole thing down at once, so I would say it was pretty good.

Austin J. A.

Yelp
There's a wide variety of ice cream sandwich magic at CREAM. I usually go for a dairy-free scoop between two sugar cookies, the whole thing rolled in Oreos or some other crunchy topping. A treat is less than $10, and you can certainly share it with another person, if that's your thing. It's more than possible to eat by yourself, too, before it melts. There's something so immediate and cheerful about getting a freshly-made ice cream sandwich in a little paper bag, eating it with your fingers or a spoon or a companion, walking around and trying to beat the clock of high-quality melting ice cream. One can get their treat(s) in a box, too, but in my opinion, it's a lot more fun to live in the moment. I've bought soft cookies without ice cream here, as well. Service is solidly alright, and lines sometimes form, which is all in all about as good as it gets during these pandemic days.

Austin H.

Yelp
Creamy and simple ice cream! If you are looking for a quick, average-sized dessert, I recommend getting two mini-scopes instead a regular single scope -- two mini-scopes are cheaper than a regular single scope. My go-to is the blueberry cheesecake and I love it! It is not too sweet, has the right proportion of blueberry, and tastes like a cheesecake. I would avoid getting toppings (unless you're a topping-must person) as each topping is quite expensive. Line and wait time can also be long at night. Limited seating indoors.

Nadav M.

Yelp
I believe this is the best ice cream around the area. It's a rare occasion to have ice cream in Berkeley. Anyways. The queue takes a while because almost every order takes some time to assemble and some order several items so keep in mind to wait. I think it's a bit worth it depending on what you would like. I would highly recommend ordering through an app and arriving and getting it the right way. Which I had a good experience. When I decided to walk in for a second time another night, the queue was short so I imagined it would be quick but no. I had Cream a couple of years back but at a different location, I did not like it but years later at Berkely, I reckon distinctly. I ordered the hot fudge sundae with 2 scoops, flavouring being French vanilla and strawberry with fruity pebble topping and the whipped cream with the cherry on top. Ask for a lid! It was so scrumptious and worth the wait. They do work hard to get this piece of sugar into your body. The snickerdoodle with the French vanilla ice cream is very good too, though sometimes the ice cream has a grainy texture. I'll incite a friend or two for a walk out and hang out.

Sita K.

Yelp
DO NOT order from this location! Waste of time! I placed custom large order by phone only because their website wasn't showing all flavors that were really available. After spendimg 30 minutes on the phone, I get a call 3 days later by the location manager asking to come pay for the order in person. I went in person, and their credit card machine was not working. They blamed my credit cards as the issue when their machine was not working. So i left without paying and without my order placed. WASTE OF MY PRECIOUS TIME AND ENERGY!!!

Nina C.

Yelp
The area is adorable here, it's right in the heart of Berkeley and you can feel it, lots of students walking around and in branded gear, it gives it a certain aesthetic. We came on a cold night but there was still a line! The staff was friendly and lets you try several different flavors, i went with the brownie sandwich (they cut a brownie in half and put ice cream in the center) with churro flavored ice cream which I've actually not seen too often. It was yummy, The brownie has a cakey texture, could have been a little more solid to me but the flavors were all there. My boyfriend had the birthday cake ice cream with 1 cookie, it would have been 5 stars if not for them putting the cookie on the bottom of the cup and the ice cream on top - the ice cream immediately freezes the cookie and u can't cut it with your plastic spoon to get bites in with every scoop of ice cream. Just cut it in half and stick it in either side of the cup! Would make for a better photo too. Otherwise all the flavors were there, their birthday cake ice cream was rich and had sprinkles in it, loved the toppings. I'd go back though! Thanks.

Tiffany Y.

Yelp
Warm cookies and ice cream sound like a winning combo, but CREAM fell a bit short for me. We got the cookie sandwich with cookies and cream with nice and warm Creamfetti cookie (birthday cake w/ rainbow sprinkles) and Snickerdoodle. They keep the cookies in some kind of warm oven so they're ready to be served once you order. Since the cookies are warm, the cookies start melting right away so make sure to eat it quickly. It can actually end up getting pretty messy and I wish we had asked for a spoon. The ice cream itself was the best part -- not too sweet and decently sized Oreo chunks. While it was good, it wasn't anything special and none of the flavors stood out to me. Unfortunately, the cookies were really hard (no chewiness or softness to them at all) and super sweet. If you can imagine how difficult it is to eat a fat ice cream sandwich with hard cookies, that's exactly how it turned out. I'm glad I was finally able to check this place out, but I would pass on coming here for the cookies again.

ami F.

Yelp
When I tell you this ice cream and cookie were delicious. My niece and I devoured the bowl. I hate that I wasn't able to go back the next day for seconds. This is a must visit on a warm summer day. Hell... it's a great place to visit on any day.

誉萱

Yelp
good ice cream But so hard to handle it , it melt very quickly ! Good service there, you can try the flavor before deciding which to but

Ryan M.

Yelp
Their churro ice cream is amazing and paired with some snickerdoodle cookies for an icee cream sandwich is so flavor full It's a match made in heaven!

Kyle M.

Yelp
Is there anything better than hand-scooped ice cream between freshly baked cookies? It's hard to beat that combo! CREAM is a dessert staple for UC Berkeley students and ice cream fans everywhere. It's easy to see why! They offer ice cream sandwiches and scoops, fresh cookies, milkshakes, and brownies.  I ordered a scoop of french vanilla paired with two confetti sugar cookies and my friend ordered a single scoop of the coffee flavor. The warm cake batter flavor of the confetti cookies mixed with the french vanilla is to die for! I weaseled my way into tasting my friend's coffee ice cream, which was delightful due to the bold flavor from the ground coffee beans. CREAM is the perfect spot to reward yourself with a little scoop of heaven.

Eric D.

Yelp
Yum Yum YUMMMY! What a delightful surprise stopping in this cute location right on the corner. They have a nice selection of delicious flavors of ice cream and cookies! You select your type of cookie and then select your ice cream flavor and then you're handed a nicely sized ice cream sandwich! The staff are really cool, too! And quick to make your order!

Karina G.

Yelp
Hate to say it, but this place doesn't live up to the hype anymore. A few years back (okay fine, it was 10 years ago now) I came here while visiting a friend at Cal. I remember being very excited by both the cookies and the ice cream. Sadly, I cannot say the same for the present day. While I did very much enjoy my salted caramel ice cream, the cookie fell flat. To be fair, it was their gluten-free cookie which I often find are rare to impress. However, my friend was also unimpressed by her regular cookie. I worry that because the franchise is so popular now they focus more on quantity over quality. For that reason, I'd say skip this one.

Amaya F.

Yelp
get your ice cream sandwich from trader joe's. cookies are rock hard and ice cream is mediocre. prices are wild too

Oak Z.

Yelp
The last time I went to cream was when they were offering a massive discount on Snackpass and there was an issue with the ordering system resulting in the line being backed up around the block. This led to one of the staff coming outside to tell everyone they had to wait in line to place their orders again to receive their ice cream. Upon waiting for quite some time, the ice cream sandwiches that my friends and I ended up getting was merely acceptable. The ice cream was the better part of the sandwich while the cookie part of the sandwiches everyone felt indifferent about. Maybe a different combination of ice cream/cookies would have made a difference but we felt that waiting for such a long time only to receive a day-old cookie with a scoop of ice cream in between was not really worth it. On top of that, the normal price of the desserts there simply does not justify the quality of the sandwiches. I guess it does make for an aesthetic Instagram post or story if that is what you are going for, but it is not something I would go out of my way for if there was no discount.

Mamie D.

Yelp
So happy they brought back blueberry cheesecake ice cream!!! Best one they have and the only reason why I come here. Overall I love the owners. Very nice people!

Katherine G.

Yelp
Maybe I've just been accustomed to the higher-end ice cream shops around Berkeley, but I don't think cream is super amazing. Definitely not bad, but it's what you'd expect at an average ice cream shop. I got the mint chocolate chip -- I did really like that they used dark chocolate chunks! I also got a mini cookie on top which was a bit underwhelming, as it wasn't warm and was also pretty bland. Overall, cream is good if you're craving ice cream really late at night, but I wouldn't choose it over some of the other shops here.

Cass L.

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday night, so there was a small line but not too many people. Despite this, it took a while to get served--the two young women behind the counter were clearly working as fast as they could, but it seemed to be understaffed. Otherwise, it's a great place to get some ice cream close to campus as long as you expect to wait ~10 minutes each time!

Kaiah M.

Yelp
Super creamy delicious ice cream, fresh-baked cookies + other tasty carb-based morsels (which I recommend one does not bother trying to abstain from), friendly staff... what's not to like? Well- when the line gets *super* long @ night during our hotter late summer/early fall months, ie. when the students return, THAT kind of sucks... But other than that, it's A++! Don't miss the pre-packed pints in the fridge if you are just there for ice cream to bring home. Lastly, the confetti sugar/butter cookies are the best IMHO, but in truth they're *all* good and you can't go wrong.

Darci K.

Yelp
My first experience here several years ago was met with excitement. That excitement of combining freshly baked cookies with my choice of ice cream literally sandwiched between them. Who doesn't love an ice cream sandwich?! My trips to Berkley would always revolve around being able to stop at cream. The choices of ice cream range from basic vanilla bean, to a variety of flavors that literally will keep you coming back to try them all. It's really exciting that they have expanded their business model, and now they have locations even in Sacramento. The choices and combinations of cookies and ice cream seems endless. You literally can choose from cookies such as snickerdoodles, chocolate chip, chocolate chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, sugar cookies, and so much more. My ultimate favorite is picking two different types of cookies and a unique ice cream. Blending the flavor combinations to that perfect and unique taste sensation. This last time I tried the snickerdoodles cookies with strawberry ice cream. Who knew that the sugar cookie with that slight cinnamon taste would blend so well with strawberry ice cream?! Yes, it was absolutely divine. Parking like anywhere in Berkeley will seem impossible, so if you've parked a block or two away consider yourself lucky, and make your way to what will hopefully be a short line into cream. If the line seems long, it usually moves fairly quickly. What's really cool, is that they seem to have the best hours out of all of the local dessert type places in and around the area. So it also makes a great late night date spot, or great place to stop after you've had dinner. But why wait for after a meal, when you could have Cream at any time of day or night?!

Alvin Z.

Yelp
I was unfortunately not a fan of this at all. The ice cream pretty much tastes like supermarket ice cream that you could get for so much cheaper. It was weirdly sweet, kind of plastic-y but probably due to artificial flavoring. Granted, you're supposed to eat it with two warm cookies, whereas I just got a cup. Even then, however, the ice cream was already too sweet for me. Like how many different flavors they have though.

James K.

Yelp
My first time here. A friend who lives nearby said this is a MUST try place. We had just finished up dinner and skipped dinner just to try this place. I had been warned about the long lines, but we were very lucky because there were only three people in the store when we arrived. Their main item is an ice cream sandwich made from cookies they make and fresh ice cream. They also serve ice cream sandwiches in waffles, brownies and others as well as floats, shakes and other desserts. But I wanted to try the cookie ice cream sandwich since that's what they are known for. The display of cookies looked amazing and I'm really a chocolate fan when it comes to cookies so I chose the double chocolate cookie and for ice cream, although they had so many amazing sounding flavors, I went for the Salted Caramel. They take a huge scoop of ice cream and place between the two cookies and then smash it down a bit to make an ice cream sandwich. It's pretty big and I made a mistake by not taking a spoon. The sandwich does come in a wrapper to help keep you from making a mess while you eat it. Without question, the cookie was amazing! Very chocolaty and tasted like they were baked that day. The Salted Caramel ice cream was good but I wouldn't go so far to say it was the best ice cream ever. They have many toppings you can put on your ice cream sandwich but I had mine with just the ice cream and cookies. Overall, it a fun experience but I think there's a bit of hype with this place.

Erik A.

Yelp
Warm cookies, cold ice cream, great combo. Came on a night with a bit of a wait - some sort of UCB visit night - but worth it. Can't really say anything that hasn't been said already, so i'll echo that the sammiches are delicious and fairly priced. About $3-5, so not bad in Bay Area terms. Bascially, you: -Pick one cookie -Pick an ice cream -Pick another cookies -Bonus - maybe pick a topping/sprinkle You get a good heap of ice cream with the sandwich so, grab napkins because it will get messy.

Daniel A.

Yelp
Cookies Rule Everything Around Me! At all times, but most of all at the corner of Channing and Telegraph. I lived a block away for 6 years, and it was nice to be able to say, "The line is long I'll look outside and come back when it is shorter". Sometimes the line is the scene on weekend nights though. Something for every taste. That is the real beauty of C.R.E.A.M. And Berkeley.

Thy N.

Yelp
WHEN: 01-05-22 Ice cream in January? In a chilly winter night? Am I insane? Well yes I am insane, but not when it comes to eating ice cream in the cold! Ice cream is good any time during the day! Including breakfast! (Fight me nutritionists) I ordered pumpkin pie ice cream sandwiched in between two super sweet sweet, yet tasty CREAMfetti cookies. Now I like pumpkin pie. Occasionally I would buy a pie, slice it up, then proceed to eat half the pie all by myself. However, I never consumed pumpkin pie flavored ice cream. I never even knew it was a thing! So of course I needed to try it! The first lick of pumpkin pie ice cream was strong. It definitely tasted like I was eating pumpkin pie. After tasting it some more, my taste buds got acclimated to the flavor and I started enjoying it. Ice cream really was CREAMy. However, the combination of pumpkin pie ice cream and CREAMfetti cookies was somewhat odd. I felt like both don't mesh well together. Both the ice cream and cookies were super sweet. I felt like I was eating mouthfuls of sugar. But it's ice cream, what else can one expect? Non-sweet ice cream? No thanks.

Jada W.

Yelp
I love, , love, , love , Cream! Unfortunately I have been diagnosed lactose intolerant so I can't eat the ice cream. Only if you provided a lactose free ice cream you can get another demographic, people like me. Bryers has a lactose free ice cream; because there is no lactose it's soft, so sandwich's may not be an option, but a cup with the cookies will suffice. Advertising you have lactose free ice cream...$$$ You'll thank me later!!! Peace and Blessings

Jade J.

Yelp
I went into cream with no expectation whatsoever and walked out impressed. Cream has a impeccable selection of vegan and gluten free options, and the best vegan cookies I've ever had. The oatmeal and snickerdoodle vegan cookies are heavenly. They're moist, chewy, and full of flavor. I wish I had gotten more since the line is long (now I know why). Cream is one of my top dessert places, definitely go try it!

Kelly L.

Yelp
Their ice cream and cookies are basic and present no "wow factor". It's a convenient novelty dessert place that's open late. The low rating is for the overall experience. We placed an online order on their website, which uses an ordering app called mixbowl. When I walked up to the counter and let them know I had a pickup order under my name, they couldn't find it. I let them know I ordered directly from their website and they said "oh we don't receive orders from there". Lol what? It's your own website. So the website continues to take orders with the store knowing they won't be able to even see them? They ended up making it on the spot using the order from my email confirmation. They didn't have mint chip but was able to sub in peppermint bark. This was fine, but again, it just shows how ridiculous it is to allow orders to continue to go through the website knowing they won't be notified of any of them. She handed me the order but the cookies weren't warmed as I thought they would be (and she didn't ask me). I asked her if the cookies come warmed up and she said she can make them warm. She asked me for the ice cream sandwich back that she first handed me. I asked if I could just have it plus two more warmed up cookies but she didn't hear me. I thought that would be a fair transaction given the inconvenience of the whole online ordering. I asked her what she was gonna do with it and she said "oh we're just gonna throw it away" and that's exactly what she did. I left with a new ice cream sandwich but the cookies were no more warmer than the first ones. I figured that was about right since she only kept it in the oven for 2 seconds. Disappointing and frustrating can't even begin to describe the whole ordeal. So yeah - the takeaway from this? Order through grub hub.

Dixie M.

Yelp
Such a delicious first experience! Line out the door almost every night and now I know why. I got the salted caramel scoop on a peanut chocolate dipped cone. The chocolate dip is thick and made the cone a treat within itself! the cone by itself, however, was your basic cake cone. Tasted like the kind you buy from the store so don't expect nothing fancy from the cake cones. The ice cream, on the other hand, was smooth, creamy, and hand thick ribbons of salted caramel all throughout. It was so delicious ! Definitely regretted not getting that second scoop

Chu D.

Yelp
The Ice cream is so creamy and rich. I wish the cookie was not so hard. I ate all the ice cream but left the cookies and had to throw it away. Overall, it's very cute and is a great gift for others who love ice cream.

Marina M.

Yelp
The people that worked there were so nice and very much compliant with the covid regulations. The ice cream was so creamy and all of my friends and I really enjoyed it. I would def come again and try a different flavor :)

Sachi T.

Yelp
We got the mini ice cream sandwich and it was the perfect size! The ice cream is flavorful and the cookie was nice and soft. Such a cute dessert spot near campus

M C.

Yelp
Had an ice cream sundae with a brownie. It was delicious. Service was ok. It was a nice cream shop!

Ashley M.

Yelp
Pricing went up drastically but where hasn't it lol Cute and must do Berkeley experience!

Lisa S.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying how terrible parking is around this area. Actually, parking is terrible in NorCal period. So, good luck finding parking. It might be better just to pay for parking in the structures nearby... RULE #1 - DO NOT LEAVE ANY VALUABLES IN YOUR CAR. JUST TAKE IT WITH YOU! This ice cream sandwich joint is comparable to Diddy Reese in Westwood by UCLA. You get to choose your fresh cookie and creamy ice cream for a delicious ice cream sammich. They also have toppings you can add on for an additional price. I think if it's over a certain amount of $, you can use your check-in for a free topping. Pro: About a block away from Cal Con: Area seems sketchy at night and always reeks of weed. You might even get high standing in line. Overall: Will be back to try other flavors

Shao-Lon Y.

Yelp
There's always a long line outside of this place and now I know why. The ice cream is really rich and creamy with a full bodied flavor. Sandwich the ice cream between two cookies or brownies or whatever you want and you get a really satisfying treat. I really like the pistachio, green tea, and peach Bellini flavors. The pistachio isn't as pistachio as many other places, it's pretty subtle, but it's still really good. The green tea is a lighter color than many other places so I thought the flavor would be light too but it's not. It has a nice earthiness and you get a really wonderful herbal and matcha taste. My favorite is the peach Bellini. When you first taste it, you get a light taste of champagne, but as you keep eating it, it turns into a strong wonderful peach flavor. Also, this peach flavor doesn't taste like the artificial peach flavor in candies, it tastes like real peaches.

Mengshu Z.

Yelp
Great ice cream, decent prices, and great location. Will be back if I crave a particular combination! Ordered their iconic ice cream cookie sandwich (not pictured). I chose to have "choc chip cookie dough" ice cream between two chocolate chip cookies (I know, not creative).d The size of the sandwich is quite large, and definitely could replace a meal. Split between, let's say 2 people, it is perfect.

Tiffany H.

Yelp
I really like Cream so one extra star. I ordered a custom ice-cream cake ahead of time for my child's birthday. When we went there at the pre-arranged pickup time, we were told there was no cake because the person who was supposed to make it didn't show up at work. The person working at the counter told us to come back again in 2 -3 hours because they were going to make it instantly. They asked us to prepay when I ordered the cake, so if I hadn't prepaid already I would have gone somewhere else. We drove back to pick this up 3 hours later and when we cut the cake at home, we found the ice-cream wasn't frozen and it was a runny mess. We were very upset because my child had been looking forward to his birthday, especially during this pandemic, and has asked for this cake specifically. Needless to say, he was quite upset. I wanted to settle this privately so I emailed Cream. A couple of days later I missed their call but received a voicemail saying Cream will call me back. I gave them a few days before calling the number that left me a voicemail. I left them a voicemail but never heard back. A few days after that, I emailed Cream again but it's been a week already and I still haven't heard back. I understand it's hard during the pandemic but I was hoping for a better level of service. This is very disappointing as we've been loyal fans of Cream for years and I have bought quite a few premade cakes from them.

Steven B.

Yelp
Quality is not up to snuff. The ingredients have too many preservatives and the flavor suffers as a result

Reigning from LA, the argument always is ---- Diddy Riese or CREAM? Well, it's all in the name - Cookies Rule Everything Around Me. This place was a weekly (sometimes bi-weekly) indulgence as a student at Cal. No matter whether there was no line (only right when it opens usually) or whether the line was 30 feet out the door and around the corner, this place is ALWAYS worth it. I always have to go with the classic chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream, but CREAM has really expanded their menu to be quite impressive and would definitely satisfy even the most picky of dessert eaters! Reasonably priced, though the price has increased over the years, but not so much that all the university students make this a staple in their diets!
