Stopped in for lunch today for my first visit. I was immediately greeted by the bartender, whom I believe is also one of the owners. He told me I could sit anywhere I wanted. I grabbed a booth and a server came to greet me, introduce herself (Lori or Laurie or some variation) and bring me a QR code to scan, while also offering me a menu if I prefered not to scan and download.
I asked for the popular dishes to which she replied, the chicken n waffles, wings, and Salmon Alfredo were the most popular. I ordered the chicken n waffles.
The dish was delicious! The waffle is housemade. It was fluffy, slightly crisp, topped with powdered sugar, and I picked up a cinnamon flavor in the batter. Solid!
The chicken tenders were crispy, nicely seasoned, and perfectly cooked. It was a great dish that I think would feed two people, so it was a good value at $12.
I was full after one chicken tender and a 1/4 of the waffle, so I wanted a box and to close my tab, but Lori disappeared. Never came back to check on me, but thankfully I made eye contact with the bartender, and he asked hiw my dish was. After waiting another 10 minutes or so, I made eye contact with him again and told him I was ready to close out. He went back to tell Lori, and after another 5+ minutes, she arrived.
The gratuity was already included, which I looked for when my bill was higher than I expected. She didn't mention it, so heads-up that they add 18% to your bill, and there is still a tip line on the receipt.
I plan to return to try the wings and maybe a burger or panini.
