Creation Wines

Visited this place on our first day in South Africa, landed in Cape Town and rented a car to Hermanus. But this place was the first stop, even before checkin-in. There are several wine estates on the way there but this one has probably the most extensive (and delicious) food menu. The steak didn’t disappoint, it was marvellous. The ramen has a local twist probably - don’t expect the Japanese style, but I liked it. Wines and views are magnificent. 4.5 Stars – Excellent: Delicious, memorable, and expertly crafted. High-quality ingredients and exceptional flavor. Service is friendly but had to follow up a few times on some orders

Not the cheapest restaurant by far, but the food, wines and service quality is of a very high standard and that sets the prices. We enjoyed the wine pairing meals. What an excellent tastebud experience. Well prepared portions of food both in taste and texture accompanied by good quality Creation wines. On top of that the superb staff showed good skills in explaining the food as well as the wines. Included are a few photographs of the food To us, it was well worth the effort and cost. A very highly rated experience

Extraordinary experience! The food and the wine are superb and the staff is excellent! Jenean was wonderful at explaining all wines and the pairings she suggested were incredible.

If you visit Hemel en Aarde valley you have to do lunch at Creations. If you have the time you have to do the wine and food pairing!! We unfortunately didn't but the food and wine we had was amazing. My birthday surprise was a beautiful touch. Thank you for that

What lovely experience. The full Creation menu with “The Art of Chardonnay” & “The Art of Pinot Noir” was brilliant and included a sensory accompanied tasting with the food. Compliments to Stephan who was an encyclopaedia and a fantastic representative of Creation Wines in taking us through the experience.

This was a lovely visit for a wine tasting and light lunch. The location and view are amazing. Monique our waitress served us very well and was knowledgeable about the wines. Food portions are small and a lot more expensive than other places - however that didn’t detract from our enjoyment

Good wine; good food, but for the price not quite there. The service was pretty slow, and the esoteric earth theme isn’t for everyone. If you have a cab booked make sure you know how long the food will take.

We loved our half platter with cheese, meat, nuts, berries and all sorts of other snacks for just over 300 ZAR. The platter was exactly what we felt like and suited our wine tasting well. Creation is very kid-friendly. They have high chairs for babies and a dedicated room for children to play in, right next to the tasting room. WiFi is open for guests, no password. They have a helipad and we saw a helicopter take off from it😍🚁
