Credit One Stadium and the surrounding area provides the perfect combination for going to an event. Parking is easy and inexpensive, restaurants and bars right outside stadium are diverse and all very good. The stadium itself holds a little more than 10k but feels more intimate and every seat has a great view. Food and beverage inside the stadium is above average for a venue like this. Ticket prices are substantially less than other markets, especially up north. Reccomend Credit One Stadium for all-around great time!

Friendly staff! Great sound at concert! We could feel the bass hitting our legs! Impressive! Please allow customers/fans to keep the bottle caps on their water bottles. Walking back up to the upper deck with several bottles with no caps on them for my family was quite a challenge. The upper deck is very dangerous. It's a tight squeeze for everyone. A man fell on me and a woman fell on my son during the concert. Hoping that one day, this venue will consider making more leg and arm space in upper deck. Happy to pay a few dollars more if it means I get an inch or two more of leg space. Parking around venue was amazing! Easy in and out. Food is outstanding at venue! Easy to find seats! Love all the restaurants nearby too!

Google
Sound mixing could have been a lot better, and I don't love how they obviously mandate drink prices for the vendors. Let them lower prices and duke it out. Free parking is also super far from the venue. It wasn't "I'll never go to a concert here again" bad, but I definitely won't be jumping for joy next time a good tour comes to CHS and I see that this is where they're playing.

Google
stick Figure, the best shows you can ever go see. They draw together a group of people / fans that enhance the experience. The stadium was very impressive. There were a lot of amenities, located on lovely Daniels Island. I would definitely check out Stick Figure and I would definitely check this venue for events. I love the design with the open stadium and the circle you just feel engulfed in the show when you're in a place like that I hope I get the opportunity to go there again sometime in the future I am sure I will go see Stick Figure again, the two prior years attempting to play in Charleston, both shows were canceled due to incllement weather I'm glad I was able to see you this year's show

The event staff at the Credit One Stadium were incredible. It was 108° during the Mumford and Sons concert and we saw the crew constantly checking on each other, giving breaks, and making sure everyone stayed hydrated. There were medical staff responding to issues with the high heat promptly and we had staff go out of their way to let us know there were refillable water bottle stations. Mumford and Sons played through the intense heat and put on a great show. The arena was smaller than others we have been to which made the show feel intimate. We decided to pay for premium parking to avoid walking far in the heat and this worked out nicely. However, the lack of traffic control and flow to get cars out of the area after the concert was horrible. Our hotel was less than 10 minutes from the stadium, but it took over an hour to get out of Charleston, not the arena itself. There were no signs to get out, traffic stacking was awful, minimal police directing traffic, and seemingly badly timed traffic lights. I would hope that the City of Charleston would work to improve this, as it was an unfortunate end to an otherwise nice (but very hot) experience at the stadium and I am not sure we would go back.

Google
A really nice small, outdoor stadium for tennis but also concerts. Every seat is good. But it would be easier if people found their seats and stayed there—the aisles are small.

Jack R.

Google
Very nice venue for outdoor concerts. Scenic setting and all seats seem to have good sight lines. Decent concessions. The Dave Matthews Band concert we saw was fantastic. Parking is problematic and it took us a VERY long time to get out after the show.

Josh S.

Google
This is a great venue for concerts! I saw Creed and Daughtry here and it was clean, easy to find, and the staff were all great! When I arrived, there were police EVERYWHERE, so I felt safe. Parking was easy and not too far away from the venue. Be sure to bring at least $25 for parking. There are lots of restaurants around the arena, so you’ll have many options for food and drinks if you don’t want to purchase items within the arena.

Yelp
Lexus Lounge Upgrade is well worth it! We attended the Mumford & Sons concert July 2025 and it was a crazy hot day but we had earlier made a decision to do the Lexus Lounge which was a game changer. It is air conditioned, lots of comfortable seating, a bar with both signature drinks and whatever else you could want really, along with a hot food time and then snack foods available afterwards. There is also private bathrooms located in the Lounge which are very nice. And they also had their own merch booth inside so no waiting in crazy lines. Having access to the lounge gave us breaks from the heat, took care of our meal and drink needs and overall was just a special experience overall. So I say treat yourself if you get the chance, you will not be disappointed at all!

Yelp
MAKE SURE you choose seats that do NOT face WEST. The sun will BAKE you until 8:30 in the summer. 300-level seats are stadium-benches. You're sitting directly next to someone. It was very unnerving when the crowd stomped to the music - praying to the structural engineers gods. Seats closest to the stage don't actually face the stage - they angle away because this was built as a tennis court.

Yelp
Got last minute tickets to the Megan Moroney concert (she was amazing!!!) and loved this stadium! We had nosebleed seats but we got to stand a little closer on walkway in the back to get a better view. Also the carts with drinks are so convenient instead of walking outside the show to get some. Nice workers and pretty with the open skies above. Loved it!

Yelp
The stadium was an awesome venue for a live concert experience. Seating had a great view from the 300 levels. Staff were well organized and friendly- made the process of entry easy. The food and drinks were a bit pricey but expected at a stadium. Overall, enjoyed my experience and recommend checking this venue out.

Yelp
I've now attended a bunch of shows at Credit One since they upgraded it and have had mostly positive experiences. I will say that when a show is sold out, things can get pretty hectic, but if it's a regular show I'm more inclined to attend. The entry staff are super efficient and I've never waited more than a few minutes to get into the venue. The have lots of options for food and drinks and plenty of places to purchase from. I can't even say the bathroom lines have been long... especially if you time it right. I much prefer an outdoor venue for live shows so I would choose Credit One over the Coliseum any day. I wish their season would spill over into fall because I'd honestly rather go to shows outside in November instead of August... there is nowhere to hide from the sun on really hot days.

Yelp
This is a large stadium which seemingly has tennis matches more than concerts but with the floor seating I estimate it can handle 5000 people. It is an open stadium with very few covered seats, and those which are covered have small tables for eating or imbibing. (Yes, if it rains, almost everyone will get wet, but it was a good day. In section 315, far away from the stage, it is good and chill with the wind cooling you. There are numerous security personnel and white polo shirts with security printed on the back of them, and 99% of them were friendly in their firmness in handling the crowd. In addition Charleston City Police were present, just in case. (Daniel Island is in the City of Charleston but is in Berkeley County.) The sound system playing music before any of the three groups was a bit too loud for my aging ears, but the song selections were good. The groups of Hearty Har, George Thorogood and The Destroyers and John Fogerty were all talented with the latter two from the 1960s were extraordinaryly talented performers. The staff were quick in changing one group's systems to another were quick, and done in under 15 minutes. Again, a great time here, as it was when we saw ZZ Top in their 50 Year Tour. Of course I recommend this performance stadium but need to tell you that parking is not very close unless you are a VIP or wanting to pay $20 to park. We thus arrived early, knowing this, and found parking a few blocks away, parking which did not cost us at all.

Yelp
I have been to many concerts and other events at this stadium over the years, most recently Post Malone. The stadium is very clean and the staff are helpful, plenty of options for food and drinks, so the lines for those aren't usually very long. If you time it right, you can avoid waiting too long for the bathrooms as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the weather for this show, since it is completely outside, I tend to avoid shows over the summer because it gets way too hot with little to no shade here. I'd love to see more October- March concerts here. I have also been for the tennis open which is typically much nicer weather than their summer concert series from around May to August.

Yelp
Credit One Stadium is the featured show court of the Charleston Open professional tennis tournament. It's where you'll find some of the best players in the world practicing and eventually playing their matches. I just returned home from this week's 2024 Charleston Open and having memories fresh in my mind, I'd like to relay some details about Credit One Stadium and the tournament grounds... The first 2 sections of the stadium all have seatbacks and there's not a bad viewing point in the house. Then there's the 3rd tier level where it's pretty much general admission or open seating. This top part of the stands has bleacher style benches. Ushers up here don't even check tickets so if you don't have a specific seat for Credit One Stadium, you can still come and watch the tennis from high above. And if you purchased a day pass, you can enter for the evening session, just don't tell the authorities, lol. One noticeable aspect about Credit One Stadium was the wind. Compared to the outer courts like Althea Gibson ShowCourt 2 and PlayCourt 3, when sitting here in Credit One, it can get windy. Especially in the 3rd level upper deck, for early April, weather was chilly. And if you attend a night session, I'd suggest preparing arriving with long layers and a coat/hoodie. For a WTA 500 level tournament, I'd say Credit One Stadium is one of the largest venues in pro tennis. Last month I attended the San Diego Open (which is also a 500 level tourney) and their primetime stadium court didn't even compare to Credit One. It was maybe half the size. Also, the Charleston Open is not a Masters 1000 level contest and yet Credit One can fit the mold of any major event. It's a statuesque hosting venue. It can be seen from walking along the streets of Daniel Island. I believe they have concerts here when tennis is not being played. I would think the stadium is great for many other outdoor events. Plus, it's located on Daniel Island in a charming little area of Charleston, South Carolina. The box office is right beside the stadium so even if you haven't purchased anything ahead of time on Ticketmaster, StubHub, SeatGeek, etc...there are 3 open windows for buying tickets on the spot. And I think visiting the box office is the best option as it avoids major fees and taxes implemented on sites like Ticketmaster. For getting tickets at the box office, they don't accept cash, only credit card. Then they ask for your phone number and text you your tickets. Next, click on the link in the text and your QR coded ticket is ready to be scanned. Overall...buying tickets at the front entrance beside Credit One is efficient. The grounds around Credit One are exceptional for tennis. There's plenty of space, trees and shade for watching matches. Food trucks were lined up beside the stadium so you can find something to eat. If you get a hamburger and fries, it'll cost around $20, which is typical these days for a tennis event. And that's about it. Coming back to Credit One Stadium and the Charleston Open for the 2nd consecutive year, my experience again was a success. It remains one of my favorite WTA tennis tournaments and I look forward to returning in 2025.

Yelp
Went to the Cody Johnson concert the other night and it was one of my favorite venues. Charleston isn't the biggest city but they do get some pretty big stars to come in for a concert. I saw post Malone there a few months ago and it was awesome to see him in a smaller venue. Parking is pretty easy and you likely won't have to pay as long as you park someone around new realm

Miles T.

Yelp
Okay so... the venue is great. The seats are all open, so I definitely though, for summer months, recommend sitting on the far right side to avoid being roasted in the heat. Parking? NOT GREAT. The show was over around 1030p. We didn't leave the parking lot until closer to 1130p. The entire area gets gridlocked (which may also happen because New Realm brewing is dangerously close in proximity). Venue was good. Parking was meh. So maybe this the venue for you, maybe it isn't.

Yelp
Love this stadium for concerts! The evening brings the best breeze in the summertime, there's free parking (if you don't mind walking), and the seating goes more upwards so the view of the stage isn't far away like some stadiums. Be mindful of sunset times or you may find yourself cooking in the heat - if not, bring sunblock and hats! Drinks are wildly expensive but to be expected for event spaces.
google avatar

Angel M.

Yelp
This is a nice event space. It is outside and that is important to remember. The seating is okay but not great. The sound is fine. I HATE that they only have bathrooms on the main floor. You have to walk down 3 flights of stairs to use the restroom. The only staff I saw were when they were checking my ticket. Once inside I just saw security but I don't think they are part of credit one.
google avatar

Yelp
Went to the Dave Matthew's concert; and as usual it was great show. However, first trying to access our mobile tickets was a nightmare. It must of taken us 15 minutes; I'm guessing cause of bad cell service. Then leaving the show; we were stuck in traffic, barely moved, for 35 minutes. Why are there no police officers directing traffic??? Ridiculous!!!

Jennifer H.

Yelp
ZERO. So sad, we love our home in CHS and y'all can do better. We haven't MOVED an inch after concert......and I mean haven't moved for 30 minutes. Why is it so hard??? I don't want to even rate ONE star
google avatar

Iz S.

Yelp
Try to purchase drinks/food at the surrounding restaurants. Credit One over charges. The service is great though. Long lines for drinks inside!
google avatar

Alex B.

Yelp
Came here for concerts and a tennis match. The stadium has nice seating and great sound quality. Very spacious and upscale for events!
google avatar

Haley S.

Yelp
The train concert was so fun! What a cool venue. More intimate than I was expecting, given how big it is. But the sound and lights were phenomenal, as was the show starting at sunset. Watching the stars come out while listening to some of my favorite songs was a real treat.

Yelp
SANTANA Concert was GREAT!! Fantastic! Sound! Very nice venue and seating. The handicapped parking, elevators, and signage definitely need to re-thought, not very handicapped friendly! Didn't think I'd ever make. WOULD'VE BEEN very helpful had they provided some sort of HANDICAPPED TRANSPORTATION from far away parking! Santana's ENERGETIC PERFORMANCE made it all worthwhile tho.
google avatar

Jeffery B.

Yelp
Nice facility for live music, for the type of artist that can fill a large setting like this. We saw Santana, who put on an amazing show, especially since he had an illness about a month prior. The stadium itself has ample bathrooms, and some nice concessions available. Pricing is a little high but in the expected range. We used the remote parking with school buses as shuttles to and from the gate. Getting in was easy, getting out we had to wait in a line for about 20-30 minutes for enough buses to come through and take us back. That was really the only drawback.
google avatar

Marva J.

Yelp
Nice venue and staff, parking was ok and it's not a bad seat in the house . The bleachers make for nice general admission concert tickets . The place was packed and lots of stairs to upper levels. They do have an elevator which was nice and staff very accommodating. Bathrooms were ok as well. They are all credit venue meaning taking no cash for purchases . I would go Back to a concert knowing the lower level with seats on the tennis court floor are all flat and no elevated seats except the side seating. It's set up for tennis watching but works well for concert and the sound quality was good.

Yelp
we went to see Creed on July 24th. Parking, even handicap, is now $25. A small bottle of water is $5.50 and they have to remove the cap before you take the bottle so you won't throw the cap at the band, but, you can bring your own empty water bottle in and refill it at the refill station, and keep the cap on. When I purchased my tickets, section 300ish, because ticket prices are outrageous, I didn't realize the stairs were straight up and there is no hand rail. Being handicapped, I was told to go back down stairs to see if I could switch out my tickets for handicapped seats. when we got down to the front gate, I was told they didn't have anymore handicap seats, even though there were several places for more handicap seats. I asked if I could exchange them for other tickets so I wouldn't have to climb the stairs and I was told no, that I would have to buy new ones. Since I didn't have the money to buy new tickets, and couldn't climb the stairs, especially without a hand rail, we had to stand up for the entire concert, more or less wasting the money spent on the tickets I bought. Its crazy that you have to spend over $100 to get decent seats to see a concert put on by bands that have money coming out their asses at a venue that doesn't give a crap. Unless its a concert that I just can't live without seeing, I won't go back to Credit One Stadium.
google avatar

Suzanne H.

Yelp
Love the new stadium. It makes it easier for people to enter and find their seats. I wish there were bathrooms higher up for the seats on top. There are several areas to get food or drink so the wait isn't too bad. Same with merchandise. I would suggest taking an Uber to an event here since parking is tough. There are bus shuttles for most events but it takes longer than you may want.
google avatar

Bob K.

Yelp
Saw the Doobie brothers and any seat was fantastic. Great venue for concerts. For the likes of me can't understand why you pay for seats on the floor and everybody STANDS! WTF!
google avatar

Rachel G.

Yelp
The new stadium is great! Plenty to do once you're in the gates. We had so much fun at the tennis open. There are a ton of different food and drink options and little activities around! Pro tip: the tickets online are the same price. Try to get street parking to save a few $$.
google avatar

Javier D.

Yelp
The best venue I've been to for a concert. We sat in section 123 and felt the artist (Eric Church) was performing directly at us. The venue is very well thought out on bathrooms and amenities. If you are in the higher level note that they do not have a screens or at-least our show did not. The stage is small. The floor seating is white plastic chairs. The stadium food is not your typical stadium food it was very good! The drinks are $15 and up. There are food trucks and plenty of bars. Uber tip: after the show cross the street to Publix and order the Uber there. Lots of parking if you're driving.

Yelp
Having seen a few concerts and some tennis matches years back when the Family Circle Cup was it's name, the stadium seating allows excellent vantage points from most anywhere. Easy up -- easy down and easy traversing for visitors to get to where they need to go. Beer stands along the mezzanine ease the burdon of doing multiple trips up and down the stairs. Security was rather tight for the Hoot show, a show that is spoken about with strong reverence -- as if it's a big deal. It was to everyone there except me apparently, I mean, I heard the name before but --- let's be realistic, it's not Paul McCartney. Security detail was unfriendly and rushing me and my group, but there was so few people entering when we arrived after the first act. I really wish I wished I had seen The Blue Dogs, but this is an "uncool" move apparently, hmmm. Hoot, after about two song in, begins making a stink about the inflatable beach balls innocently bouncing around. Taking some time to poke fun at them, and tells the people who brought them to raise their hand for all to see. I think he made a complete fool out himself and for me to pay $80 for a crap seat, albeit for charity -- I don't wanna hear your crass and way overdone opinion of happy little beach balls!! Just hush up and play the music I paid good money to hear. So not good (not) in fact was the performance that I left after an hour and had dinner.
google avatar

Erik B.

Yelp
Great spot to see a concert! There is truly not a bad seat in the whole place. It is big enough to host large acts but small enough that it feels very intimate.
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
We've been to a lot of concerts recently, at a range of venues. Credit One, where we recently saw Elton John, was ABSOLUTELY the least successful. I've never seen worse patron management. Stations for food, drinks, and merch, are all shoehorned tightly together such that lines become a tangled mess. The lines aren't managed in any way at all, so foot traffic passing by has to weave through them! Outside the stadium, where merch and beers were for sale, there was no drinkable beer - no craft beer at all, just light American lager-type stuff. And NONE of the beer stations took cash! I'd lost my wallet on the trip, so was temporarily without a credit card ... I'd brought cash, especially so that my husband could get in line for, say, merch, and I could get us beers at the same time. You can't even buy BOTTLED WATER on a scorching day, without a credit card. One vendor did tell me that there were reverse ATMs available ... somewhere. I never saw one. They are missing so much of an opportunity to make more money. I'd have GLADLY spent more if I could have found decent beer, or had time to buy a second round. Or even a round of water. Or if they'd taken cash, so that we could be efficient in our purchases ... as it was, we got to the stadium 90 minutes before, and it took the entire 90 minutes to buy T-shirts, get one round of beer, and get to our seats. The remote parking/ shuttle system is ... not disastrous. It was reasonably efficient and only suffered a little from poor signage. The sound wasn't great, but was honestly better than I expected in a stadium. So that's a point in its favor. Overall, Sir Elton did a great show, and our seats were terrific, but I will never return to Credit One.

Yelp
I love to go to concerts here at Volvo stadium. I have attended several in the 15 years I have lived here, and my latest concert was so enjoyable. The stadium is designed just right and the sound is actually really good. We recently attended a concert with ZZ Top and I was so impressed with the quality of the sound. Really clear and loud the way you want it. The entrance (upon arrival) can sometimes be more time consuming than you want, but once through the gates there is plenty of room. The added port-a-pots also help with the large crowd as everyone breaks during intermission. While there are plenty of food & beer vendors on the premises, we usually meet somewhere else nearby to eat and warm up. Besides concerts they also hold other events here, the largest being the tennis tournament, and they other smaller events. The Volvo stadium is a great local venue and I appreciate the opportunity to attend events there.
google avatar

Ara A.

Yelp
Great location for the Volvo car open, lots of restaurants and bars. Decent drinks option for an outside venue type location.
google avatar

Taylor T.

Yelp
There's not a bad seat in the place. I sat in both the middle and highest sections and had a decent, unobstructed view in both areas. The bleachers (highest section) do not have backrests, which is to be expected, but it did bother my back by the end of the night, so just be aware of that. The volunteers and staff that were working during the tennis matches were wonderful. The entire facility was clean and there was a lot to do on the grounds if you didn't want to sit through the whole match or decided to arrive/leave early. There are several food options inside (CFA and Verde) and there were some awesome food trucks and other dining options set up outside as well, but I'm not sure if that is standard. I'll definitely be back for more matches and hope to see some concerts and other events here soon, too.
google avatar

Annamaria B.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite venues for a concert. No wonder Hootie decides on this one for a concert every year. Can't forget about the tennis tournaments here too. I went to only one back when it was the Family Circle Cup. I've come to love it for a good concert though. There's really not a bad seat in the place. Sometimes it's nice getting general admission and having your pick of the top tier. I'm also partial to going all the way up and having awesome views of not only the stadium, but Daniel Island too. Yes it can be hot in the peak Summer months, but the breezes coming in will help. It's an awesome atmosphere. You can't beat outdoor venues like this one. Sometimes it's too stuffy at the indoor ones. They always have good drink stands and some food truck options for a quick bite to eat. I'm always excited when I see a good concert coming here and can't wait for the next one.
google avatar

Jillian S.

Yelp
Love seeing concerts here. 2016 had some amazing shows! Wish 2017 had more lined up. It's open air and the stage is set up on the ground, so only 3/4 of the stadium seats are used. This means, very few obstructed seats, which imo is great! I definitely prefer the sections 100 and 200 level over the floor or the general admission bleachers at the top of the stadium. If you buy the tickets face value, they will run between $30-$45 plus fees. The drinks and food are pricey as you'd expect at a concert. But they have everything you'd wish for! Food trucks, concessions, beer, wine, mixed drinks, etc.
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
Volvo Car Open Stadium formally know as the Family Circle Cup located on beautiful Daniel Island is a great venue not only for tennis but also concerts and other community activities regularly hosted here. I've seen plenty of concerts here and they have always been very organized and the views have always been great from the floor, 1st, and 2nd stands; the higher up in the nosebleeds have been ok visually. I will admit that I've never actually seen any tennis here; but then again I'm not a tennis fan. I've also been to several enjoyable community events here including children's day, Christmas on the island, and this was also the location of the farmers market before it moved across the street to the Refuel. Overall this a fantastic venue for the Charleston area.

Don H.

Yelp
Kind or a mixed review. The venue was great and because of the size every seat would have a good view. The food trucks outside were a nice surprise with good choices and good prices. Lines for merchandise went fast and everything was clean. We did have an issue with overbearing and at times rude security. Despite a very mellow adult crowd we saw and heard security very rude with concert goers. They need to lol at better training or a new event's security company.
google avatar

Mel W.

Yelp
Volunteered at an event on "DI" yesterday and of course we all know that Daniel Island is really a lovely area however, Volvo Car stadium left a bit to be desired. Pros- Free Parking, Parking was close to the venue, nice green space. Cons- Bathrooms, Bathrooms and Bathrooms. I'm sure a rest stop on the side of the road would have been cleaner. Overall the event was for a great cause so I enjoyed my time at the stadium overall, Great Oysters and Jim N Nicks catering was really good but I was disappointed in the restrooms.

Madeline C.

Yelp
This man guarding the gate from the ferry to the concert venue was the RUDEST person I have ever encountered. Made us and everyone in line feel like we were doing something wrong. We are here for the Train concert and this has ruined our time. Absolutely unacceptable. Hire someone with some manners.

Karol Q.

Yelp
I saw big time rush here on 7/29/23, and the show was great, but the workers here were so rude. The people at the security were so mean and kept messing with my boyfriend with the metal detector when he obviously didn't have anything on him. When we got to the floor, I asked a police officer and a stadium worker to help me make sure I got to the right seat, and they had looked at me like I had asked the craziest question ever. Our row didn't have a paper on it saying it was row 13. Get some nicer workers...this is literally their job.

Yelp
"They have a ball machine on the their tennis court that is extraordinarily loud and unpredictable." -- Gilmore Girls: Season 4 | Episode 6 Well folks, this was a first...a concert in on a tennis court. We had no idea when we arrived that we were going to be watching The Lumineers while standing on a tennis court, but it was pretty cool. Our tickets were General Admission, so there was actually a lot of space for us to be able to see the stage and not feel boxed in. There is also assigned seating (reserved seats). The stage took up about a half of the court - but I will say that open toed or sandals are probably a bad idea here. The bottoms of my shoes were pretty gross by the end of the night from the clay court. Also, lighting here is a challenge as the majority of the lighting is on stage, so getting to the stairs and navigating the steps was tricky. It was a great venue for music - the sound was great and the floor had a little give so my back was not killing me too much at the end of the night (as a cement floor would if standing for a long concert). However, parking is a madhouse. Most of the parking is far from the stadium and anything close is gone within an hour of the show. So get here early, or be prepared to walk/bus in.

Yelp
Ideal venue for a concert! It's teensy tiny so every seat offers a great view. I pregamed at Bin526 and walked over so I didn't have to deal with parking. Catching an Uber after the show proved to me that most people had the same idea as me, so it was a bit of a wait. Tickets are (usually) affordable and the drinks/food seemed reasonably priced for a concert venue.

Yelp
What a fantastic concert venue in the Volvo Car Stadium. Last night was my first visit here and I was very impressed with the whole scene. It was busy for the Culture Club concert but very well organized and no lines. I don't think there is a bad spot in here for a concert. The sound system was spot on and we had a fantastic time here. I look forward to seeing more concerts here. It had the feel of coziness and intimacy. Maybe that was the drink . Speaking of which, they have many bar and good areas set up all round the venue, so lines are very short. But seriously, looking forward to more events here. We are so lucky to have this venue in our doorstep.

Yelp
I recently attended a concert at this tennis stadium/venue for the first time and was impressed almost all around. For the show, we had general admission floor tickets. There were no chairs on the floor so everyone stood the entire show. The stage took up nearly half the tennis court, so everyone on the floor ended up being really close to the stage and despite not being very tall, I still had a great view. The stadium has clay courts so the floor is a little "dirty" because of the loose clay. Keep this in mind if you plan to wear sandals to a show here, because your feet will probably get pretty dirty. As for concessions, this stadium had many bars set up all around which helped cut down on long lines. There was even a bar on the general admission floor level so we never had to miss a moment of the show. The only down side to this venue is the parking situation. There is no garage and most available parking is in a field miles from the stadium. Most of the private lots and businesses near by do not allow event parking at all, and signs warning that they will tow your car are posted everywhere. Because busing in can take up a lot of time, be sure to arrive early so you don't miss your show.

Yelp
Volvo Cuo stadium , home to a top WTA tournament is a great place to watch world class women's tennis. In addition they just amazing concerts throughout the year. Situated in the beautiful Cooper River it provides an ambient setting - easy parking , shops and restaurants . To top it off you can always count on good southern hospitality

Yelp
I saw Nathaniel Rateliff the other night here. It was a good time up until I went to get a drink. The lady then took my id and gave it to a group of ladies in the back. After waiting 5 minutes, embarassed, I asked if there was a problem and she insisted it was a fake ID, it was most definitely not. She then got the cops involved to check if it was real and the cop DIDNT EVEN HAVE A SCANNER. I wasted my time giving them my information, even missed the song I was waiting to come on. Do better. If you can't tell what a real SC ID looks like, Youre doing your job wrong. I was mortified being refused a drink when I am well over 21. Very disappointed

Yelp
I've been to the stadium before, but only for an outdoor event (I guess they're all technically outdoor). This past weekend I came for a concert (Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds). Parking off site was easy, and they used school busses to get everyone to the stadium. Getting in could've been easier if there was a sign out by the road that indicated which line was for bag-check and which one wasn't. We were in the wrong line for a couple minutes. They have agents walking the lines, checking IDs, and issuing wrist bands, which makes it a lot easier for when you get inside and don't have to go to a separate table. We had general admission tickets, and even though the ticket has a general row in it, we were advised to sit wherever we wanted to in the bleachers. That works out well if you get there early, but not if you're late to the show. The show itself was amazing. Food and beverages were good, but don't expect to get discount pricing. Food came from Braised in the South, and even those prices were elevated from the regular food truck prices. You have to pay the rent some how. Getting out was fairly easy if you can keep up with the mob. Busses were waiting for us again and dropped us off back where we started. Overall, a great experience and a smooth process.

Yelp
Worst venue, we bought 'VIP" tickets for the lumineers 800.00. Once arrived told the seats we have 38&39 are actually not seat but general admission. Standing only. The reception buffet was chips, dip, and a vegan egg roll. Asked to exchange seats or refund and was laughed at by the gentlemen in the box office. A person behind me offered to buy our tickets, I said they could have them, and the staff member said no. It was evident that they were not trying to help. Drove 1100 miles to be disappointed. We will never support or see the lumineers again

Yelp
Came here for a concert. It was very spacious and clean. Everything seemed organized and nothing was too crammed together.

Yelp
Enjoying a little world class tennis with mom at the Volvo Car Stadium on Daniel Island. This is one of the nicest sporting events to check out. One good looking crowd at this place, enjoying some nice food and drinks with plenty of activity.
