Fantastic, cozy, welcoming!!!|I could go on and on about this wonderful bed and breakfast!|Let me just start off by saying the manager and owner went out of their way to make sure I felt welcomed and comfortable on my arrival after a very long drive! The house was very clean, bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows. Boutique shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom was a nice touch. The grounds are beautiful and I enjoyed resting during the evenings in the front porch rocking chairs. Breakfast was varied and fresh every morning (home made granola, eggs, bacon, sausage, scones, pancakes, cheese grits, muffins, yogurt and fresh fruit to name a few). There is always coffee, tea and hot chocolate along with water and sodas available in the garden room along with fresh cookies. Highly recommend if you are visiting the area!|This was a nice mini vacation while my daughter attended a sports camp at Auburn University.

We stayed in the Pat Dye Cottage and had a wonderful time. The cottage was clean and very comfortable for our family of 4. The beds were super comfy and the room was well stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated the coffee maker, and full size fridge full of drinks. Breakfast every morning was delicious. The staff is amazing. The property is an easy walk to downtown. Highly recommended.

I was visiting Auburn with my daughter and we decided to try the Crenshaw Guest House based on reviews and also its location to campus. We stayed in the Samford Room and it was delightful. The room was stocked with every amenity and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was a 10/10 - french toast casserole, eggs, sausage, potatoes and homemade granola. A treat! Staff was courteous and helpful.

Everything about Crenshaw Guest House exceeded our expectations!|The property is very convenient to town and within walking distance to several wonderful restaurants. The house is historic and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious both days….even shared a couple of recipes! Erica and Virginia Kate greeted us and were gracious and generous with suggestions.|Our rooms were large and comfortable and had everything we needed. |It was a quiet retreat with many extra details. On a cooler weekend we would have loved the outdoor area.|Guess we’ll have to return!

Everything was wonderful for our family gathering in Auburn. Perfect location. Beautiful grounds and decor - we loved looking through the Glomeratas (yearbooks) to find photos of loved ones. There are lots of extra touches like fresh flowers and candy all around, stocked fridges with soda and water, and cookies. We enjoyed gathering on the back porch and/or in the garden room to catch-up with family we don't get to see often. The rooms are very clean and spacious with lots of pillows and very comfortable beds. Robes and Dyson hair dryers are a nice touch. We stayed in one of the dog friendly rooms with our pet, but we didn't miss any of the charm. The breakfast was delicious and different each morning we were there. More than enough to eat. The staff was very accommodating to make sure we all were taken care of. When one of my cousins mentioned he may want to use the fire pit that night, Erica pulled together a basket of s'mores supplies for us and left it out for our use. My nephews enjoyed throwing the football in the back and walking to Downtown to get a milkshake. Even our dog had a welcome basket waiting for him upon our arrival! |Not an issue with the Crenshaw House, but if you are not familiar with Auburn, College Street can be busy and a bit noisy, and like any place near downtown, you will hear the train at night. We think it adds to the charm. |Thank you for helping to make a very special family weekend even better.

I had an emergency trip to Auburn and this wonderful guest house came through for me. They had a lovely room, and best of all, I had a quiet relaxing night which was just what was needed. Super breakfast the next morning - and they were so accommodating so that I could get back to the vet school quickly. Highly recommend for any travel! I'd love to come back and stay when its not an emergency.

Yelp
I can't believe I didn't realize this place exisited in Auburn. I must have driven by it almost every single day for the past two years. I found Crenshaw Guest House when I was looking for pet friendly accomodations. My call was prompty answered and thankfully I didn't need a room during a home football game (an impossible feat in Auburn). The lady in charge that weekend was quick to let me know that they wouldn't have a room ready until about 4 PM (I called around 10 am) but she would do everything to get me a room as soon as possible. True to her word, she calls around 1:30 and viola, I could check in. The only negative thing I noticed was that their driveway was hard to see. The sign needs to be a little bigger. The Guest House is this huge historic beautiful house with about four guest cottages in the back. All the cottages are pet friendly. Each room has its own unique name and I stayed in the studio. They provide an actual key, which was a nice change from the cards you get at normal hotels. My room was just perfect. Two queen size beds, a kitchen area, a study area, free wifi, a fridge anda microwave. Ideal for anybody needing to stay a few days in Auburn. It was also very quiet. The lawn was perfectly manicured and they had a nice open area in the back for the doggies to play. Breakfast was lovely the next day. You pretty much ask for what you want and it is made to order. At the time you want it. Breakfast is served in the dining/living area which has a lot of windows so that you can enjoy the lovely view. Highly recommended for anybody needing a quiet but comfortable stay in Auburn. It was pretty much a lot more like being at home and a lot less like staying in a hotel.

Yelp
Wonderful hosts. Best dog to compliment the warm welcoming home. We slept so well. Everything was clean and fresh and cozy. I highly reccommend to all. Great breakfast too. Susan and Marie Las Vegas

Yelp
I've been to two reunions at the Crenshaw Guest House. What a wonderful place for a bunch of friends or from all over the country to meet. The house is so attractive and comfortable, the owner and staff so friendly and accommodating, and the breakfasts are out of this world!

Yelp
This was a peaceful oasis to stay at for a weekend trip- within walking distance to Acre with attention to every detail. The breakfast and amenities were exceptional and we will definitely return.

Yelp
This is a beautiful B&B located in downtown Auburn. I stayed there several times a few years ago and just recently visited this past weekend (August 2014). The B&B was purchased by new owners, Steve and Sara, in November 2013. They were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to be friendly. The breakfast was delicious and they accommodated by food allergies, which I GREATLY appreciated. It was by far the best breakfast I have enjoyed at a B&B- grits, eggs, pancakes (gluten free ones!), bacon, fruit, any several other items I have probably forgotten about. The house is beautiful and there are numerous places to relax around the property or on their porch. We invited a friend over and had a nice, relaxing evening outside on the patio. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone and cannot wait until the next time I return!

Yelp
Absolutely loved the experience. The food was fantastic and they have homemade cookies to snack on during the day. The premises is well maintained even in January. The proprietors as very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the Samford, the bed was comfortable and the space was homey. The best part of all we were able to bring our two little dogs. The location is prime and in walking distance from all the 'site seeing' available in Auburn as well as restaurants and bars.

Yelp
What a weekend ! Please if you are ever in Auburn , you have to stay at Crenshaw Guest House ! Absolutely amazing ! The Hospitality is top shelf ! You will have all comforts of a five star resort , but feels like you are in your moms home ! Wake up every morning to a spectacular country breakfast. Then feel free to sit in the back yard and read a book in a beautiful wooded scenery! Wonderful place to meet new friends , bring kids .. or just relax . Also animal friendly and non judgmental! All are welcome ! Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
What a wonderful experience. We enjoy staying in Auburn on our way to the grandparent's house and this was fantastic. The owners are incredibly gracious and accomodating. The house and yard are beautiful. We found the cottage to be very comfortable and perfect for our family of four. If all that wasn't enough, the breakfast is amazing. Our family can't wait to return. If there was a sixth star to give, I'd of done it.

Yelp
The best place to stay in Auburn, other than my sister's house:) A warm welcome and snacks and Keurig coffee 24 hours a day. Amazing and filling breakfasts. Toiletries, hairdryers, irons, flat screen TVs, lovely grounds. Owners are gracious and friendly without being intrusive. Walk everywhere on sidewalks in a lovely college town with flat terrain. I stayed in the Nichols room: queen bed room with full bath and the bonus of a double bed room between my room and my bathroom. The cottages are behind the house. I've reserved the Jordan room in one of the cottages for my next stay.

Yelp
My fiancee and I spent a Saturday night at the Crenshaw Guest House and could not have been more pleased. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and our room was great. We stayed in the Petrie Suite which was a gorgeous two rooms with the old Victorian feel. As for the location of the Crenshaw Guese House, it can't be beat with only a 10 minute walk to Toomer's Corner. Lastly, the breakfast was the best part of the expierence as George (the owner) brought out some delicious food. Ranging from fruit salad, to raspberry pancakes with creme, sausage, bacon and eggs. A great way to start the day. Definantly the place to stay at Auburn and we are looking for an excuse to visit Auburn again.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about the Crenshaw House and the Jenkins family. Crenshaw is always our first choice when we stay in Auburn, AL. Steve, Sarah and their family are wonderful, kind, Christian people who run a very welcoming, clean and comfortable bed and breakfast which is very conveniently located to downtown and the university. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and VERY clean. The breakfast and snacks are delicious and all homemade, which is better than what we normally have at our home!! Our daughter is a student at Auburn and just finished up her freshman year. The Crenshaw House and Jenkins family provided us a home away from home and saw us through the transition and some rough patches throughout the year. We cant wait to visit again!

Yelp
This was the nicest bed and breakfast we've ever been too. The house and grounds were beautiful, breakfast was delicious and our room was spacious and comfortable. The owners, Steve and Sarah Jenkins, were so welcoming and hospitable and made sure that we had everything we needed and let us check in hours in advance because we had an early flight. They even gave us rides to town because we didn't have a car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone staying at Auburn.

Gerry M.

Yelp
We've stayed here twice and love it. Sarah and Steve are great. The old rooms are restored to what they were 100 years ago. Everything about the house is wonderful and the breakfast is DELICIOUS. It's a block (walking distance) from Toomer's Corner. We have one child graduating from Auburn and another about to start so we'll be staying at Crenshaw many more times.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed at the Crensshaw B&B for the Auburn / Ole Miss weekend, and had a great time. George and his staff do a wonderful job taking care of each guest staying at the Crenshaw B&B. Accomodations are very comfortable and relaxing, not stuffy like some B&B's tend to be. I like the attitude of come as you are, you can be as sociable or as private as you want, there is no pressure from Crenshaw staff or other guests. We look forward to staying with George next fall, if not sooner!

Yelp
We decided to try something that's "not a hotel" during a recent stay in Auburn. Steve and Sarah were very accommodating and made us feel right at home. Great breakfast, too! Will definitely stay here on our trip.
