Creole Culinary Classroom

We did the French cuisine cooking lesson and had a great time cooking, chatting and eating.  The menu kept us busy for the 3+ hours that we were there. The time flew by.  Definitely a highlight was learning to make tuna tartare.  That recipe will be getting some work in the future! We were lucky to have a small class so had lots of time to talk about Saint Martin and its food with someone who is very familiar with the island!  Thanks to Anna for hosting a delicious, fun and informative season!

A wonderful experience to enjoy while in St. Martin. Anna is a terrific entertaining host, teaching us about Caribbean Creole dishes; guiding us on the journey of creating the appetizers, mains and desserts. The location is great (Pelican Key on the Dutch side) and includes free parking lot. The site is well designed to allow groups of up to 10 people to watch and participate in the cooking experience after which all get to enjoy the meal together. A lot of fun and highly recommended. We had so much fun at Creole Culinary Classroom! We learned some delicious creole dishes and cocktails that we'll definitely be replicating at home! Anna was so kind, knowledgeable and an amazing host! I definitely recommend this experience to share with friends and families for a fun experience where you also learn about the culture and cuisine of the region. Everything was perfectly organised so you just have to show up ready for a great time and you're guaranteed to leave satisfied with a full belly and a smile on your face!

We had a wonderful time with Chef Raphael, we were a party of 5 - which included one allergic to seafood and one with issues with onions - Raphael found a way to accommodate us without taking away from the rest of the class. We ate like kings and drank Iike pirates. The Rhum punch, Wine and liquor was top notch. A great experience for foodies and the novices in our group. Just enough hands on to feel like we helped but not too much to distract from the fun. We laughed, we met new people and created memories. We were emailed the recipes so we can recreate the party at home. We will do this again the next time we are in SXM.

We took this class with my girlfriend yesterday and not only we have learned a lot, ate delicious dishes, enjoyed tropical cocktails and made new friends; Anna’s uniquely charming and bubbly personality was a great plus-the cherry on top, as they say. She exceeded all our expectations and I cannot recommend this class enough. Keep up with the good work Anna, hats off!

While in St. Maarten we went to “Creole” culinary classroom. We had a great time learning different techniques and ways to prepare some outstanding delicious dishes, and drinks. A fun creative atmosphere put on by Ana our top notch chef. Thanks Ana.

I had an amazing time here learning how to make a Caribbean food. Anna the chef was really engaging with everyone, it was easy to follow. Our Accras Morue was delicious and we've learned some handy tips along the way. I'm definitely coming back for more!

Great experience! Perfect to learn some simple creole recipes that you can reproduce at home 🤩 Everything is very well organized, Anna is very friendly and patient. We had a lot of fun!
