Crêperie de Brocéliande

Since we moved to Nantes, we have been trying one by one all the Crêperies. I always go for the basic “complete” so we compare apple to apples. Most crêperies in Nantes are excellent. This one rated as the top one in my list. I mostly rate the actual crepe. But the atmosphere was also great and the owners super nice!

Rude waiters and owner. Very average food. (in response to the reply from the owner: yes, my friend was pregnant and very politely asked to confirm whether the salad was washed with vinegar. You made a sarcastic joke and rudely told her not to tell you how to do your job then walked away, without even responding to her question. Your accompanying waiter barely greeted us with a hello, let alone a smile.)

Delicious galettes and crêpes in a cozy (but cramped) atmosphere and good service from the female waitress. Located in a quiet little street in the heart of Nantes. The place fills up quickly around 1PM, so make a reservation if you want to make sure you get a seat. Note that there is no phone service in the back room and that it gets really warm/stuffy in there. The owner (male) has a peculiar sense of humor, and can even get pretty unpleasant.

Tried to sit outside and was rudely waved away by staff. Was willing to dismiss given my little French but same thing happened to the French couple behind us, who then shared a laugh with is about the rudeness. We are next store at Heb Ken. Turned out for the best in the end.

I had a brilliant time at this crêperie. The most lovely staff and delicious food. I can’t recommend it enough!

Full French experience!! Gallette means salty crepe. We took one les petit plus de B...something! And one formage, champignons, egg, ham!! Choose the second one!!! Very crowed!

Delicious! Had a savory crepe with multiple kinds of ham, and an apple crepe for dessert. Highly recommend both!
