From the music being played to the wooden chairs, tables and beautiful kitchen area. The atmosphere is a pleasantly beautiful place, a little piece of France in the middle of Darien, CT. The service was immediate. You are greeted with a pleasant smile and gracious hospitality. I looked forward to sitting at this cozy and beautiful setting. With so much to want to try, I settled on ordering the Compléte Jambon, with a great cup of Cappuccino. It was as lovely to look at as to taste, so Flavorful. The crepes were delicious! But don’t take my word for it, try it! I know I’ll be back.

Excellent food and experience. We had one savory jamon crepe and a sweet Nutella with banana, strawberry, and whipped cream crepe. We sat outside but the inside looked adorable. A bottle of tap water was brought out with cute little glasses. We also tried the rosé which was light and delicious. The waiter was French and he may be the owner as well because he took great pride in the food and service

Nice cafe with very good crepes. I had the sweet one but the savory ones looked good as well. Service was friendly. It is popular with limited seating and air conditioning. When I got there, all the tables up front were full and there was no fresh air due to poor ventilation at the kitchen area.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Great service and best crepes I've ever had. Fresh squeezed juice and espresso was great too!

Great place for breakfast. We had coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice, banana strawberries Nutella and a vegetarian savory entree with wheat crepe and it taste so good. Have to try others on the menu and they even have a small wine list. Sweet! Next time we’re in town we’re definitely gonna swing by again. Service was also very nice and the owner/server speak fluent French which was so nice to hear even though I didn’t understand but sound so romantic. 😁

Absolutely the best crêpes in the state of CT. I used to frequent the New Haven location before moving to Fairfield County and I'm glad they opened up down here. My son who's visiting from out of state and loves crêpes agreed that they're the best he's ever had. I'll definitely be returning soon!

I had a reservation here for Mother’s Day brunch. My son is very allergic to milk and eggs. I called to talk through if there was anything on the menu he could eat. He told me “m’am, we’re very busy”. Terribly rude and clearly would not recommend for any families with allergies. Happy to make him a little less busy with one less reservation for 6 people!

I just revisited Crêpes Choupette. I hereby confirm that the Crêpe Complète Jambon is as good - if not better - than any crêpe I had while living in France. And here's a little secret, their coffee is better presented than the fancy-pants coffee around the corner at Neat!

Came here for breakfast with my wife and daughter had an amazing time. They were surprised it was not busy at all just a a few customers, the two employees were extremely attentive and helpful, and our weight was not long at all food was very good and delicious. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing a little warm inside during a hot season, but it was perfectly fine. Didn't bother at all. Definitely a good place to have breakfast if you're in the area!!!

Very nice savory crepes but the price is much too high. My friend and I went for a crêpe and mimosa one morning and the bill was shocking. I hope they are able to recognize this and lower their prices to a reasonable medium so that they stay in business. It's a lovely having having a crêpe shop nearby!

I have been to Crêpes Choupette in Darien more times than I can count. I love everything about this little restaurant. It's such a gem. The service is spectacular. I forget his name, but the man who operates this location is the owner's brother (they look like twins lol). He is so kind and accommodating. I have been to CC pre pregnancy, pregnancy, and post pregnancy to celebrate so many things in life. The food is delicious and made with only the freshest and best ingredients. My favorite is the Norvegienne savory crêpe. The mint lemonade is so refreshing and tastes just like my mom's! The coffee is actually really good!! I'd go there just to pick up a latte, honestly. I am of Haitian descent and love to take all of my family members there so they are comfortable speaking French! Thank you for creating such a warm, homely environment. Also, just a personal touch: when my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, the manager gave us complimentary champagne, just class on class.

Food is excellent. Price is not cheap but quality of food and service makes up for it.

The food and the service were fantastic. I'd had amazing gluten free buckwheat crepes at a little place called Framboise off the Champs Elysee and was excited to try the same here. Not *quite* as good but a fantastic option for anyone looking for a delicious gf crepe experience. They have both savory and sweet options, and we tried them all. Cute little café setting and the waitstaff, the manager, and the cooking staff, were all wonderful. Definitely give it a try.

If you want a crepe in Fairfield county, you should come here! Came in here around 3p on a Saturday and it was pretty empty except for a couple tables. Immediately, I noticed how pretty the decor is inside. I ordered the Norvégienne crepe from the savory menu - this was the exact crepe I was craving. The buckwheat flour crepe did not disappoint. One of the better crepes I've had and I savored every last bite. I look forward to future visits!

Our family had lunch here today and everything was terrific. The food is outstanding and service was so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return.

New York showed me, though I didn't especially need it proven, that not all crêperies are created equal. This little place in Darien checks all the boxes, and if I had to pick one word to describe it, I would say "balanced". Comfortable, friendly, classy but not overbearing... and, if my galette (the ractiflette) was any indication, expertly-assembled food. It would have been easy to make that too rich or too salty, but it was perfect. I'd like to assume that everything else on the menu is made to the same standard. I did notice that the prices on their website were behind the times; see my photos of the menu. Not uncommon with any restaurant, really, but I'd expect a bit better from a place as focused on execution as this. Anyway, check them out!

This is a must try place. It has a simple menu and they nailed it. The owner, Eddy is very friendly. The place looks nice and clean. A place we will go back to when we are in town again.

Best crepes this side of Paris. Very friendly staff. Very fresh food. We stopped here on our way from Boston to NYC.

Best crêpes in CT and the NYC area. Ambiance is unpretentious and authentic. Owner is always there and a pleasure to speak with. I go there often to be reminded of what it was like to grow up in France. A gem I feel lucky to have closeby. And if you don't live close, try them on the delivery apps: the crêpes arrive still hot! Only place I have seen that can do that.

I had the Nutella crepe and the mint lemonade. Absolutely delicious and the staff was lovely!!

So yummy!! Highly recommend for girls brunch, for family brunch, or couples brunch! We've been here 4 times now for a late weekend pop in and everything we've had has always been delicious. I particularly love the ham and cheese or the veggie savory crêpes. Plus, you can get a mimosa if you feel like it! Owner is always there, and very friendly, great customer service. I heard they do evening events, which I suggest looking into as well.

Excellent crepes, fantastic service. We love having this restaurant in Darien - my favorite breakfast in town. Coffee is great too! After writing this, I had to go again.

It was a lovely place. The food was amazing. Service was great could not have been happier.

The ventilation in this place is horrible. I walked in and was bombarded with smoke and only could smell smoke the whole time I was eating. They are so stingy on all of their stuff but I have no problem charging for it. The crepe was so dry with barely any Nutella. The whip cream was the size of a quarter. I had about 5 strawberries on top of my crepe and it came with about an ounce of syrup. I won't be back.

Fabulous!!!!! we just enjoyed such a fun and special time with delicious crapes at this super spot. And the owner was so nice and sweet to even bring out some special goodies for us I would highly recommend.

Small, charming and very French. Crepes were "magnifique"!!!! French music playing. Savory or sweet menu. Check is delivered in a French book! Love everything about this place and will go back. Highly recommend! Try it.....

The restaurant is so classy and transports you to a place far away, a little slice of heaven right in the heart of Darien. The crepes are so delicious and the coffee and cappuccinos are just like the ones we had in Europe! We have dined in and done take out and every time everything is perfect! The kids also love it and can't get enough of the sweet crepes. Highly highly recommend!

Just a lovely experience. Incredibly friendly owner who even moved tables to accommodate our baby as soon as we arrived. Delicious crepes, both savory & sweet. We will be back!
