After reading the reviews, we were anxious to try Cress restaurant. My husband ordered scallops while our friend ordered the lamb. Both thought their meal was very satisfactory. I ordered the red snapper dinner and found it to be dry. I had to squeeze lemon on it and ask for sauce to make it more palatable. Even the key lime pie wasn’t as good as I expected it to be. The highlight of the restaurant was our server who was very efficient. We all liked how she explained the food we ordered. Unfortunately, for us, the restaurant didn’t hit the mark especially for our $200 bill.

The service was wonderful - everything was immaculate & clean - The food had incredible taste - As you approach the establishment it portrays itself as a more exclusive restuarant in an area with the average guy establishments. The prices would definitely suggest and confirm that. I would say the only thing was the pricing was on the slightly steep side even though lamb fell off the bone. Definitely an anniversary or date night out location.

I recently dined at Cress for lunch, a first for me despite several enjoyable dinners in the past. My partner and I brought our dog and bunny along after a vet appointment, so we opted for the patio seating, which was lovely. We started with a fresh salad that I thoroughly enjoyed, followed by the cauliflower steak and a side of potatoes gratin. Overall, the flavors were delightful! However, I felt that the cauliflower steak could have used a bit more cooking and seasoning, as it needed just a touch of salt. The standout of the visit was the staff; they were incredibly attentive and seemed excited to share that they are now open for lunch. It made for a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely return to Cress and look forward to exploring more of their lunch offerings!

Nothing to write home about. My Harissa Grilled Cauliflower "Steak" was a head of cauliflower immersed in sauce. Lovely presentation nonetheless. My partner wasn't too keen on his actual steak. Our hummus trio was something I could have put together from Publix. But the layered cheesecake was delicious; as with most desserts, you can't really go wrong. I regret we didn't spend our special occasion and overpriced bill elsewhere. Despite that, thank you for serving us.

I probably should have known not to order the banh mi when I saw that they spelled it incorrectly on their menu, but it is my favorite sandwich so I figured I would see what their version was like, and that was a mistake. Baguette was not right at all, had none of the crustiness you’d expect from a Viet baguette, frankly it was pretty similar to a Publix roll (not a compliment). The amount of steak on the sandwich was so minuscule I almost needed to put my glasses on to see it. There was also not nearly enough of the pickled carrot/daikon, and it wasn’t right anyways, it didn’t have the flavor of traditional pickled carrot/daikon, and I’m not even sure if it was daikon, it looked more like pickled onion, which isn’t even a traditional banh mi topping. Not including cilantro was also problematic since that is one of the most important flavors of a traditional banh mi. And god only knows why they decided to put sprouts on it. Also hilarious, I was told that the soup of the day was “minestrone”, but what I received appeared to be little more than bland tomato soup, without the creaminess you’d expect from a good one. The idea that a minestrone soup would have literally nothing in it (no pasta, no beans, no veggies) is so foreign to me that I feel like it was just a mistake and the server just told me the wrong soup. For $17, this meal was a travesty, and they probably should ditch the banh mi from the menu, and maybe ditch lunch service altogether, considering I was there from around 12:45-1:20pm on a Friday and I was the only diner in the restaurant the entire time. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because my server was kind, and refilled my water a few times.

The food, I thought at first by reading the menu was going to be way over the top. I was wrong, everything was perfect and the staff was amazing and patient. I overheard another table talking about they just got a new chef. First time here and it was amazing.

Cress Restaurant never disappoints. Every visit is a reminder of what dining out should be – outstanding food, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that feels both elevated and warmly welcoming. The menu is always thoughtfully curated, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients that are transformed into dishes that are as beautiful as they are flavorful. Whether you're indulging in a signature favorite or trying something new, the quality and creativity shine through in every bite. What truly sets Cress apart, though, are the incredible owners. Their passion, hospitality, and attention to detail are evident in every corner of the restaurant. They don’t just run Cress – they live it, and it shows. Their presence and dedication create a personal and memorable dining experience that keeps guests coming back. Cress isn’t just a meal – it’s a celebration of food, community, and care. Always exceptional. Always worth it.
