Crete Golf Club

We were visiting Crete and wanted to play a round at the only full course there is on the island. There was an issue with our reservation that was booked through their new system but despite that, the staff was extremely accomodating. Mr. Sotiropoulos who oversees the premises, explained to us some of the unique features of the course which is very narrow and favours precision rather than distance. We were allowed to use the club house facilities that were in immaculate condition and felt extremely welcomed by all the staff. The course itself is also in very good condition and offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. We are looking forward into visiting again and spending more days at this wonderful resort.

The setting is stunning — nestled among the hills with panoramic views, the hotel offers both tranquility and easy access to everything you could wish for. The rooms are veeery spacious, modern, and beautifully appointed, with every comfort you could imagine. Waking up to the sight of the perfectly manicured golf course and the Cretan landscape was simply breathtaking. The service deserves the highest praise: professional, attentive, and always delivered with a genuine smile. From the reception to the restaurant and housekeeping, every member of staff made us feel truly valued. The golf course itself is world-class — a pristine championship course that will delight both seasoned players and beginners alike. Even for non-golfers, the hotel offers superb facilities, a relaxing atmosphere, and exquisite cuisine that celebrates the best of Crete.

Came here for a round of golf whilst on holiday. Tee'd off at 7am with virtually no one around. It was perfect. Round of golf, hire clubs (Taylor Made QI 10) and golf buggy hire came to roughly the equivalent of 200 pounds. You will need the buggy given the terrain. The course itself , absolutely superb. Condition was excellent, fairways, greens all well irrigated and well manicured. A great selection of holes featuring some gentle dog legs and some spectacular par 3's. There is something for all abilities on this course. Every hole is picturesque. Savour the scenery when you play. Service was great, guy in the pro shop very helpful and all the staff out working on the course were great. Well worth a visit.

Crete Golf Club is a beautiful and serene spot surrounded by lush greenery, with an infinity pool that’s perfect for relaxing. The modern rooms are spacious and bright, and the breakfast buffet is abundant and delicious. While the gym could be better equipped and some small maintenance details need attention (like a peeling shower handle and a shower head that doesn’t direct the water properly). The overall experience is excellent and worth recommending.

We did not stay at the hotel. We only played golf. It is an absolutely beautiful course! We had a 9:50am tee time and the weather was perfect throughout the entire round. The rentals were Qi10s and were in excellent condition. I highly recommend coming to play this course if you have a chance!

Incredible hotel! Very gorgeous location, the golf course is beautiful and the view of the mountains is amazing. The staff were all very nice, especially the restraint staff. Food was 10/10, best food we’ve had on Crete. Everything is very clean and well kept

Had an absolutely wonderful time on this golf course. We got the premium clubs + green fee + golf cart deal and the clubs looked like they had never been used before. Beautiful scenery, good service, great cappuccino. Definetly recommend when in Crete!

Great course and very quirky. A few blind tee shots, greens in good condition. Definitely need a buggy to get round and some really awesome views.
