I was initially supposed to meet a lender at the coffee shop next door but I was hungry and he suggested we come here. I’m glad he did because I was hungry and I don’t drink coffee. The chicken strips I had were juicier and bigger than the average size. The mild sauce was an added bonus. I had never had them before but I would definitely get them again. Must try if you haven’t.

The food was amazing and the service was incredible. They have some crazy food items in the menu. I will definitely come back to see the other options. The service was so good. They forgot to add Mac and cheese to our sandwiches but the manager realized it quickly and gave us extra Mac and cheese on the house.

Crimson Coward is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food. I had a great experience Yesterday dining there. The menu offers a a lot of tasty options, and everything I tried was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. One thing that stood out to me was the excellent service. The cashier, Juan, was incredibly helpful and friendly. He made sure we had everything we needed and provided great recommendations. His positive attitude really enhanced our dining experience, He was also nice to our little girls! Overall, I highly recommend Crimson Coward for anyone looking for great food and outstanding service. I'll definitely be coming back!

I finally got to eat here and had the chicken sandwich with toast. What i can say is the Texas toast was bomb and the chicken was huge. I loved the sandwich because i had the best of both worlds, grilled cheese, and a juicy chicken breast. The chicken was not dry and definitely had flavor. I got the mild level of spice, and you could definitely taste it. The fries were good because they are seasoned. I think i waited too long to eat them so they were cold, but I warmed them up and they were cool. Business looks really clean, staff helpful, only complaint is they need a better selection of drinks.

Awesome but a bit pricey. It is a lot of food. Ordered the Full Coward and took the majority home. Mild has a hint of heat but the medium is perfect. 😍

Fourth visit today. every single time something goes sideways. online orders appear to take precedence over in-person because there could be no other explanation for why it takes 30 minutes to make fried chicken that is dropped in a fryer on a timer and make waffles in an instant waffle maker. Great concept, great chicken, per usual bogus service and inexplicable long time for fast casual food in an otherwise emptyish place.

Chicken was cooked well and looks good but was pretty bland. Spice with no flavor. Pickle chips just tasted like salty breading... no pickle. The sauces tasted good and the employees are helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the food isn't worth the price

Ordered through door dash. Excited to try this place. However, chicken was not cooked all the way. Very pink in the middle. Had to order something else to eat. Staff forgot to add my drink to the bag. Would not try to order from here again. For $80 you’d think it would be worth more than 1 star.

The wait is worth it because the atmosphere is clean & comfortable. The food is fresh, tasty, hot! The restaurant is clean, the music is entertaining. The employees are friendly, work hard and helpful. Our family loves this place! I have been twice so far. We just discovered it but will be back!

Overall this was decent. I would not say it was memorable. I feel the "hot" chicken restaurants are popping up every where and this one just blends in with the rest. There wasn't anything that I ate where I feel I would crave it. You order at a counter and they call your number when it is ready Super casual. Would I come back? Sure. I had nothing really to complain about. I had the mild chicken tenders. My daughter got a spicer sandwich and she was pleased. Fries are good. There was a sauce that came with it that was good. Limited Pepsi products and a couple of juices in their fountain machine. They also had some basic flavored milkshakes. Lots of tables for 2 people and only 1 table that sits four. The portions are more than generous in fact my only regret was not ordering a kids meal for myself.

Staff were fun and seemed to be having fun. A good sign. Tenders are very large and cooked well. I got mild and my daughter got medium. Granddaughter got plain. Heat levels were good. Not overly impressed with the fried pickles. Too thin. The onion was really good though. The sauce is delicious. Definitely worth a repeat.

I see this place every time I go to Aldi and finally decided to give it a try. I got 4 tenders, 2 medium and 2 mild. They are the biggest tenders ever, as I could barely finish one. All meat is fresh and cooked to order. As I was waiting, the nice lady behind the counter offered me a sample of their Mac and cheese, which was so good. We will definitely be back. A big bang for your buck, and quite tasty!

I ordered their chicken sandwich on medium heat, fried pickles and i got 3 strips for free when you sign on up on their website. Chicken sandwich was delicious, but not spicy enough for me. I will have to step it up a notch next time, I didn't want a volcano eruption in my tummy that day. Fried pickle was meh, it is too thin. You can barely taste the pickle, all u taste is fried batter. I saved the tenders for the next day and microwaved it and it turned out better than expected. I thought it would be soggy but it was still juicy.

This location is clean and bright with good customer service but it's not as good as Hangry or hot kitchen. It was just salty chicken on bread.

Quick grab on the go, hot fresh a little chewy for a breast. Wasn't juicy like I expected or read in other reviews. Crimson sauce was a little spicy but I don't like hear at all.

Enjoyed my trip here. Fried chicken isn't my area of expertise but I do like buffalo wings(only point of comparison). This place gave me my "fix". I ordered medium level spice and it was a perfect heat level per my taste. The very weak husband ordered his "country" which means no heat. He was also happy. Loved that you can get fried pickles instead of fries. Cute atmosphere inside and you can order on a kiosk if you don't dig human contact I like supporting workers, so I ordered at the register. Service was friendly and food all made fresh.

Not sure what is with all good reviews my first visit was little disappointing. Fries served some fries were crispy some were Soggy not sure why. Chicken burger and Fried chicken was soaking in oil not sure why. Also Fried onion was half cooked bottom of onion was not cook properly. Also order their beef burger and it was average nothing special about it . I will trying this place one more time In future and will update my review if food is up to the mark.

The food was very mediocre. My boyfriend and I shared the most popular, according to the cashier, crimson sandwhich meal. This was our first time here and we were not impressed. Unfortunately we will not be back. A meal was a little under $20 and the food quality did not match the price tag. Personally speaking, Dave's hot chicken is wayyy better. The only thing I appreciated was that the food was halal, which is why it's getting 2 stars.

Stopped in for a quick meal to go. I got the chicken tenders , Fries and Mac and cheese. The chicken was pretty good, i personally like it a bit more crunchy but the tenders were pretty big which was good. The Mac and cheese was 0/10. Barely any cheese and tasted like nothing. The fries were delicious and the ranch dressing was good

Not my favorite Nashville chicken spot but it's not bad. The loaded fries were delicious.

Went for the first time tonight. I had the half coward wings (mild), Crimson chicken sandwich (medium), fried pickles, and Crimson Onion. I liked the Crimson Onion, but those wings were delicious! Crispy and flavorful. The Crimson Sandwich was good too. Wish I had gotten more of the Crimson sauce for it. The only thing I didn't like were the fries, but I would recommend everything else. The staff was friendly. Everyone had smiles. The gentleman at the register didn't mind that I took my time to order. Great service.

Food was very good! We got the sandwiches and the loaded fries and they were both very good. A little bit on the salty side, but very delicious regardless. The people serving the food were also very kind and accommodating. The reason I docked a star is due to the speed in which the food comes out. I ordered online to pick up an hour prior to when the time was. By the time we went to pick it up, the people who ordered in person were getting their food first. I understand priority or walk in customers, but we ordered online to hopefully avoid the obscene wait time. Our food from time of order to it being read was about an hour and 15 minutes. Overall nice good food, but be prepared to wait for the food!

This spot just opened in Woodbridge and there was a lot of hype surrounding it. The grand opening day, they ran out of chicken several hours before closing! Ambiance: 4/5 - Some seating available and I like the glass that allows you to see what the staff are doing with the food. Very transparent process. Price: 4.5/5 - The tender combo is about $14 and comes with solid portions. Knocking down points because extra crimson sauce is $.75. Food: 3.5-4/5 Tough for me to rate because I got the HOT tenders (2nd hottest spice level) and was disappointed. Disclaimer, if you do not consistently eat spice then you may think this is spicy. The fries were "seasoned" but not all of them. The Garlic twister was very good though. If you eat it with the crimson sauce it's amazing. Service: 5/5 - Staff and owner are very friendly and were super helpful. Next time will try the highest spice level with the garlic twister. Not a bad spot. I'd say 3.8/5 pushing a 4!

Providing an updated review after a second visit. Returned on a Saturday a bit after noon. It was not nearly so busy as the wing before. The tables had been split and rearranged to allow more seating. It remained clean and an automated ordering station had been added. We ordered at the counter. Our two strip combos came out as ordered. My wife's was 'country' and suited her taste. Mine was mild. It honestly was probably a little spicy for most mild taste, but was okay for me. Neither had been dipped in the squad that both of ours were dripping with on our last visit. Both came out hot along with the fries. I think/hope they have the problems worked out after a few weeks of serving. It was quite tasty, so we will likely be back.

Thought this would be a similar experience to the Hangry Joe's on Liberia. But no, the chicken here is much better. The chicken is just plain crispier and more flavorful. You get the real crunchiness of the batter surrounding a steamy...juicy flavorful explosion of chicken in the middle that's done just right. They have larger portions here and many variations of sides and combinations. They offer their chicken as strips, inside a brioche bun, on top of a slice of toast, or in a burrito! So many ways to mix and match. Even the pickles they use are fresh crispy! The macaroni and cheese was a bowl of awesome cheeseyness that reminded me of everyone's favorite Shells and Cheese but even more cheesey. As far as the food...their fries was the only thing mediocre and ordinary for me. Maybe because they didn't cook them all the way crispy. These fries remind me of the Red Robin bottomless fries with their signature red powder salt. Same thing to me. One other subtraction was the time from order taken to pickup. We waited a little over 25 minutes for a family of three with just 3 ordinary combos. There has to be a way to speed up the process. All in all a great option for Nashville heat for the Manassas / Woodbridge area.

Had a smashing good time ol' chap! Delectable vittles that tickle every fancy my insatiable pallet could conjure ! The ridiculously juicy, tender flesh of the deep fried barn fowl sang a song of joyous splendor whilst dancing a waltz of immeasurable ecstasy upon my taste buds !!! WHAT SORCERY IS THIS ? How could I have been so content with life to have gone so long not having Crimson Coward entered between my lips and traveled through my labyrinth of nutrition extracting innards? I hearby declare that this mistake will never make itself manifest again. No force on earth shall stand against me, be it rain, sleet, snow, flurry, nor gale. Until Brimstone descends from the sky once again, it shall be my earnest mission to continue my patronage to this establishment with a fervent dedication. Yours Truly, Olboi.

Best chicken sandwich around. Def not frozen and fresh. I prefer to eat it in-store because that is the best first bite into the crunchy hot chicken breast. Never fails and worth every penny you'd think is too much.

They would get five stars if only they didn't bread their chicken wings so much! The chicken wings have the potential to be some of the best in the area but they're soooooo heavy. I also don't like the butter soaked bread or maybe grease but please calm down

Crispy and yummy! The quality of the chicken seemed good, good size pieces, and the chicken was juicy. The fries were well seasoned but I prefer fries to be crispier, still good with sauce. The Mac and cheese was also had good flavor, the sauce was kind of liquidy compared to most mac and cheeses. The service was also great!

This is now my go to for Nashville hot chicken. The chicken is always moist and tender and the flavor is great. The staff are very friendly and seem to really enjoy their jobs, overall a great option.

Have gone here a couple times, the chicken is amazing and crispy and there are many heat levels to choose from the hottest level is very spicy

I am always excited to try new spicy chicken places and was happy to see this one open. I got the four chicken tenders with mild sauce, which comes with bread and pickles. I was hoping it would include fries but that's okay. I did not enjoy these tenders because they were extremely salty. I genuinely struggled to finish these. I don't think I'll be returning, unless maybe to try the chicken sandwich.

The chicken was very juicy! Not dried out like a lot of places. The have good levels of heat to choose from. The girl who helped me, it was her first day and she was very nervous. FELLOW CUSTOMERS we have to be patient with new employees. I had to wonder if someone had already yelled at her. I told her to take her time, no rush here. She did fabulous! My only complaint is I prefer mayo based cole slaw. Theirs is vinegar based, so that was the only disappointing part. They had a delicious sauce that went with the fries. We will be back again for sure!

We love this place! The double smash burger is delicious and you can't go wrong with the tenders, I prefer the HOT.

The chicken is amazing and the Joey eat-fries should be considered as the 8th wonder of the world. Well ru. Establishment and I love the support they have shown the Hylton Basketball program.

Finally decided to check out the new Nashville Hot chicken restaurant in Woodbridge. The menu consist of chicken tenders & a chicken sandwich with 3 different spice levels. I ordered the 3 tenders with bread option & an onion blossom. The flavor level I chose was medium but it was mild to my palate. The homemade ranch sauce & crimson sauce were pretty good. There's a wait so if you order in person or online prepare to wait a while. It's still new and highly popular plus this is not fast food per se. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is due to I literally watched them box & bag up my food and not call my ticket number. I had to inquire twice about my food just to receive it & this is after a patient 45 mins wait. Overall it's ok.

Best chicken I've ever had, hands down. And yea, I've been around the chicken game. I pulled a piece off to give to a friend, and the juice literally slapped me in the face. I wouldn't recommend getting their "burn baby burn" heat setting (which costs $1 extra, rightfully so) unless you want to never taste again. Was worse than the One Chip Challenge. Literally had my Nepalese friend leaking tears. Biscuits were buttery, but the chicken was peak. Haven't tried the other sides, but I'm betting they suffice. You could tell it's all fresh and never frozen just by the wait time, which is no issue. Fast food is lame food, this is the real deal. Never written a Yelp review before either, so that should tell you something.

Chicken: excellent. Fries: very good. Service: timely. Sides you get with the chicken strips (few thin pickle slices & a piece of soggy toast): nah. Parking tight when other shops on this strip are open. Full disclosure: I've made more trips here since writing my review. So, good enough for my repeat business.

Just getting started today so they have some kinks to work out but it's going fine. Super nice folks and the owner is great talking with his customers. The Crimson sandwich tastes amazing, awesome textures and flavors. Fries are crisp and the soda is cold so all is good. Prices very reasonable for a good chicken place these days, I'll be back for sure!

Best tasting and spicy flavorful chicken I've ever tasted in the DMV! French fries are also very flavorful and the perfect seasoning!

Update. I went again for the second time and the food was still delicious. The customer service was amazing and the vibe was cool. I must commend the hiring manager because the staff is amazing. From the moment you walk in and interact with the cashier, till the moment you receive you food from the line cooks, it is nothing less than an amazing customer service experience. I am glad you are in our community with such great employees.

I like it! But just to be called by number (jail style) is something that doesn't sound right, how about calling my name? Also hair in the face is not something that we want to see as well as touching hair with the same gloves, waiting is super loooooong...ufff...other that that, not bad...

My husband and I decided to dine at this restaurant being it was new in the area. What a treat! The food is absolutely tasty and always piping hot!! The customer service is great and the restaurant always clean. A great addition to the area! If you haven't tried it you need to!

While the food looks great- taste is lacking. Medium spice level had no heat-which is fine, but should have some flavor. Hangry joes has a very similar menu, definitely wish I went there instead tonight.

First time ordering and did online. It was 30 minutes after hitting enter. When I got there, there was an angry vibe. While I waited at the pickup line I asked the women ahead of me and she was upset and she said that it took 30 minutes when you ordered in store. It looked like the 20 or so people in there were waiting for their food. My order was okay. Two tenders orders and a sandwich, fried pickles, and Joey fries. When I got home they did not add the scoop of fries to two orders. Those were $3.75 a scoop each. Overall nothing impressive. The Joey fries are loaded fries with cheese, some chicken and a little cole slaw. Was enough for the three of us since they left off the scoop of fries. They weren't bad. But I just don't get the current fad of hot chicken whether it is Nashville or Korean. It's spicy chicken. Would probably only go back if someone else wanted it.

Very tasty. Not as big as the facebook ads. Let's start with the buttery bun. It's like a better chic-fil-a bun. Coleslaw has good flavor and crunch. The pickles make it a bit sweet. The med heat isn't bad at all. Mild will have you sweat a bit and the hot i did not try yet. That will be next time if there is one. My only real complaint is a bit over priced. Be sure to sign up for club and get your free 3 tenders. If i had paid the $28 for the combo and 3 tenders i would of been pretty upset.

Still a 5. We have had a lot of hot chicken sandwiches in cities all over, and have been to this Crimson Coward 4 times. The sandwiches are always flavorful, juicy chicken with a nice acidic contrast of the slaw. Seasoned fries also always tasty. Friendly staff, clean restaurant. It's a longer drive from where we live but always worth it. Keep succeeding!

Chicken sandwich was probably the best I've had. I'm a big Chik-fil-a fan and this one, although more expensive, delivers the goods. Crispy on the outside, moist and juicy in the middle, and just the perfect amount of heat. The Cole Slaw on top of the chicken was the perfect consistency. Made with just enough liquid so as not to soggy the chicken. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every bite. The only setback in my combo meal was the French fries. They were cooked well, a nice middle ground between crispy and soft. But the flavor was very ordinary. I was hoping for a little heat or maybe a unique touch of Crimson Coward flavor, but was sadly disappointed.

This place is a lesser version of Hangary Joe's spicy chicken place. Except it is slower and not as tasty. But the staffs are friendly. Prices are higher than I thought it should have. So this place only gets a 3 stars and my business once. Because I have so many other options.
