Having been to Kilmartin for lunch my folks and I decided to drop by here for dessert, may as well get around and support the local businesses.
It's located on the edge of the canal basin at the north end of the Crinan canal, just down from the hotel, (which does excellent if pricey high teas), with windows looking out over the water.
Throughout the cafe on the walls are scattered local artists works, mostly for sale and in a room to one end is more work around the walls, mostly with guide prices beside them.
There is also a selection of old boat engines and pumps on the floor for you to have a look at.
We had some of the homemade cake and scones, which were all lovely, my usual drink of coke and the folks had tea and coffee.
Prices reasonable and staff helpful if you wanted to know anything.
