Cris Hotel

This hotel is located on a beautiful beach, offering a relaxing coastal vibe. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, though options for a decent supermarket or buffet-style dining are limited. Our room was spacious, with a cozy balcony that provided a lovely sea view. The air conditioning worked well, and the refrigerator was pleasantly quiet. While the shower could have been a bit hotter, it was still serviceable. The reception staff were friendly, helpful, and available 24/7, which made our stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good variety of options. One standout feature of the hotel is its inviting common area, equipped with sofas, tables, a kettle, and a coffee maker—perfect for relaxing or socializing. The large balcony area, complete with sun loungers, is ideal for soaking up the sun. Overall, a great spot for a beachside getaway!

Fantastic location and view, nothing can beat that! Breakfast was really good too, with lots of fresh options! Don’t expect 5-star hotel amenities or anything like that, but the common lounge with a small self-service kitchen and fresh coffee was a great treat! Kudos to the very helpful and friendly staff, too!

Place is nice. It’s right on the beach and the rooms are basic and mostly clean but got a great view of the ocean. Sad thing is a poor interaction with just one of the night time front desk employees can bring the whole experience down. I really hope he finds a job that makes him happy one day.

The beach is beautiful and has all the amenities. The hotel is charming with an excellent staff who bent over backwards during my stay. The breakfast buffet is fresh and has a lot of delicious options, including espresso and juices. ||||The rooms are large and have been recently upgraded. The beach side balcony rooms are worth the money. The view can't be topped. There are 4 restaurants within 1 min walk, beach front night clubs, a mini-market and many food delivery options. ||||Great stay!

Booked this hotel for it's location and price and it definitely did not disappoint!! Only one minor issue was the hallway sounds early morning. There is a sign posted to not be loud but you can't really help it when kids are loud in the morning running down the hall (it echoes). The location was perfect, situated steps right outside the entrance to the beach, restaurants, bars, shops and gift shop stands! I recommend booking a room with a beach view, the sounds of the waves at night are very calming. Staff were friendly, kind and curious! The breakfast buffet was good and staff always attentive to clear and clean tables immediately. For the location and price, I recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

Frankly we booked this hotel because the price was good and so were the ratings. ||When we arrived I did not think much of it, but i quickly appreciated the amazing friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help in any way they can. There is someone there by the name of Michael who speaks English and was a complete star.||The rooms were very clean and very well maintained. The beds and pillow were very comfortable. Bathroom was modern and roomy. Breakfast buffet is simple but fresh and tasty and you can ask for eggs to order.||I would suggest you request a room with a view as otherwise you get a rear view which is not very nice, or a side view without much of a point for a beach hotel; just pay the small difference. ||The village which is full of restaurants, bars and shopping is just a short UBER ride away. ||The beach is just a few steps away and it was awesome; perfect for families with young kids to teenagers. Water was not to rough and not too mellow. You can walk 300 feet and the water is just above your waste. Water temperature was moderate to warm, and there are at least a dozen very alert lifeguards overseeing the beach.||We stayed 9 days and recommend it 100%. This is a 3 star hotel with 4 star confort and 5 star service.

Really good location on the beach. It’s a nice safe area as well. The beach is great. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. It is only about a R10 trip in an Uber to the next town with more restaurants if you like. There are a few restaurants on the beach.||||The building itself could use a bit of a fix up, but it is still a nice place to stay and I recommend it.

The hotel location is perfect. The beach and everything else is really nearby so it's one of e best choice to know the region better. The room has a good space and plenty of places to store your stuff. The door and windows could have a better isolation from outside but it doesn't impact your experience. The breakfast is enourmous and really full of options the best breakfast ever.
