Cristo de La Misericordia

The view is breathtaking for the first 5 minutes and then that's it. There is a nice little chapel at the feet of the statue and with not many visitors it's a quiet little place to meditate. The place is well kept, clean and with a little gift shop. Nationals pay 75 cordobas and foreigners 8 dollars.

I did the hike from San Juan and it was pretty steep! Very good workout though. As for the view etc is what you expect. 150 cordobas is the foreigner tax. The chapel is quite nice and the story behind it all is quite fun to read. 3 stars because of the price us foreigners have to pay vs locals.

What a beautiful way to see the Bay from above. The statue is incredible and has a small church at the base. It would be a long walk up but if you have a car or motorcycle there is parking near the entrance. It is steep but not too far to go, lots of stairs but you can stay amused by all the tiny moon crabs on the walk up. I was there during the morning but at sunset I’m sure it’s incredible. It was only $2 usd for entry.

Moderate hike up from la talanguera. Great way to stretch your legs in the morning. Incredible views of the surrounding area. $4 per person.

Great place with a great view but a little too expensive for what it is ! I highly recommend to go to the light house instead and is free with a bar/restaurant and amazing views as well 😜

It's an overlook. Just like all overlooks it is very picturesque and pretty. Lots of people and surprisingly enough we didn't walk a lot to get to it. We were allowed to park right by the steps and just had a little bit to walk. Once on top we paid the fee to enter and there was even a small concession stand for you to buy souvenirs and refreshments. We didn't stay long but it was memorable nonetheless.
