Hotel staff were friendly BUT I would not recommend the hotel. housekeeper did her job but sheets were still stained and stuff. Plus I rarely got to sleep well at night because of the sounds from the road. Okay if you are staying just for 1 night. But location is okay. Close to shops.

The room I had was on the ground floor and when you entered, it was dark as anything and basically felt like you were in a basement. The bed wasn’t very comfortable - I got poked in my back all night and the blanket cover was a thin bit of material. The door was falling off the front of the cupboard and the bathroom is in dire need of an upgrade. The toilet seat was a bit flimsy and moved a lot. There was a TV but I didn’t use it and the fridge was in good working order. They provided the basics like cups, kettle, tea and coffee. Airconditioner/heater worked well. Room smelt okay and there were no visible signs of mould anywhere. It just could really do with some renovations. Apart from that, staff were nice and provided good service. Overall okay value for money - $315 for 3 nights, but it was in a really good location.

Decent stay for a short trip, but not without its flaws. The location is definitely the highlight—right in the heart of Perth CBD and within walking distance to shops, cafes, and public transport. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. However, the rooms are very dated and could really use a renovation. Furniture felt worn, and the bathroom is ok. It’s a budget-friendly option, but don’t expect luxury. Good for one or two nights if you're not too fussy.

Value for money. Decent sized room at an affordable price. Great location. Yes the rooms are a little tired, but they are clean, beds are comfy and who spends all their time in the room anyway? I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Positive: Great location, 5-10 min walk to the ferries (to rottnest island) and to the train station! The staff were very polite as well Negative: The lack of room service/cleaning of the room on the weekend - apparently they?re short staffed so we had to reuse towels more than preferred

An absolute hole. Staff are perfectly lovely but the rooms are atricious and the location is dangerous. Black mould in the shower and a pillow that was due to be replaced in 2007 😶 Would not recommend.

No good experience in our case, photos were so much different to the reality, small space, deterioration (walls cracked) of the place and sounds and smells (due to low ventilation and windows seales or not working). In addition they take 250 dollars bond for the nights on the place which they do not notify before hand. Location is good and the hotel could be potential if someone invest the money and also advertise what it is.

Stayed here for the easy location, but my god they have not put any money into it, carpets disgustingly stained and not vacuumed found bobbypins on the floor from previous guest. Curtains had brown stains on them. You have to pay a $250 bond which they don’t advertise you get a email after you have already booked. Not a good experience, it has the charm to be a beautiful hotel if they put the effort in.

Yelp
It's quiet old but if your not expecting to pay too much and wanting little it's what you get what you pay for. You can get some noisey rooms or people going down the hallway but other than that it depends who stays there as well. But other than that very central to the city.

Yelp
$80 + $100 secure pre-authorisation (which will be reversed back into your bank when you check out) for a single room with 2 single beds per night. It is really cheap and affordable. The interior design is not too bad and quite presentable. Got our own bathroom, a flat-screen tv, fridge, safe box, towels and all the other essentials. The staff is friendly and understanding. They are very polite. I am happy with the service here. Oh! Not to mention, we were given vouchers for a complimentary glass of wine or a soft drink. Also, FREE WIFI.
