The lake is 10min on foot from the parking and entrance. Paved path, playground on the way. On the lake there are bars and food but we didn’t try any. You can walk around the lake and swim, it is beautiful.

Black Lake in Montenegro is one of the most breathtaking natural wonders I’ve ever visited. Nestled in the heart of Durmitor National Park, the lake feels like a scene from a fairytale – surrounded by dense pine forests and framed by majestic mountain peaks. The water is crystal clear, with a magical shift in colors depending on the light and time of day, ranging from deep emerald to shimmering turquoise. The walking trail around the lake is well-maintained and offers plenty of peaceful spots to sit and take in the view. It’s an easy hike that lets you appreciate the changing perspectives of the lake and the surrounding mountains. In the summer, the air is fresh and cool, making it a perfect escape from the heat, while in the winter, the snowy landscape makes the area look absolutely enchanting.

The lake is beautiful and mystical, in the rays of the sun and in cloudy weather - it looks mesmerizing! The lake is surrounded by a forest on all sides, that’s why you have to walk a little to get to it

Beautiful place in the Montenegro mountains. Not much water compared to 2 years ago. Still look gorgeous. Take an easy hike around the lake or you can go to the peak Bobotov kuk 👍

A really beautiful place. We arrived at the end of April and there weren't many people at all. We walked the path around the lake and it took us two hours. There are ups and downs but not too steep. Really suitable for children but not for strollers. The view is perfect and it looks different from each side of the lake.

Crno Jezero is a stunning glacial lake in the heart of Durmitor National Park. The trail around the lake offers a beautiful and peaceful walk through forested areas, while still providing continuous views of the lake’s crystal-clear waters. Although some visitors wear slippers or casual footwear, I would strongly recommend wearing good walking shoes. The terrain can be quite uneven, with many pointy rocks and rough patches that require solid footing.

A wonderful lake for a hike of about an hour+ located in Durmitor National Park, entrance fee of 5 euros per person. Quite a short distance from the entrance, someone is standing and charging a parking fee of about 15 euros per car, it is not clear why and if this is okay
