We dared to stand in a long line and did not regret it! Btw, while we were in line, an employee of the establishment came up to us, gave the children coloring pages and other gifts, thereby encouraging us not to give up and visit them anyway. Atmosphere, service, delicious food - that's why it's worth going here! The prices are affordable, the portions are very large (we didn't expect such large portions, we ordered for each separately, it was worth one portion for two). All the time we were treated to something (children with various sweets, adults - alcoholic beverages). It was cool! But in the end, be prepared to pay a larger amount than you ordered, the check indicates an additional amount for service.

Every evening we saw a huge line outside this restaurant, so we decided to try it for lunch instead, with high expectations. Very disappointing. The carbonara was not authentic at all – far too creamy and without any egg flavor. The staff was polite, but the service felt impersonal. At the end, they brought a bowl of gummy candies, which felt completely out of place. The plate was chipped and the cutlery scratched, which ruined the impression. The ambience is nice and refined. Overall, the food was nothing special, and there are plenty of much better restaurants nearby.

We come to Croce del Sud every year when we’re in Lignano – it’s our go-to spot for dinner almost every night. The food is great, the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is friendly. A couple of times they forgot to bring a dish, but that doesn’t change our overall experience. We always enjoy coming back!

Came for the pizza, stayed because my taste buds refused to leave. Croce del Sud serves food so good it should be illegal. Staff were friendlier than my own family, and the seafood pasta almost made me propose to the chef. 10/10, would sell a kidney to eat here again. Waiting times: This depends on the season and time of arrival. High Season: Arrive earlier (18-19:00) if you don't want to wait for a table, which can take up to 30 mins or more Low Season: Very low chances of having to wait for a table. Play it smart.

The place is very busy and crowded. The food portion was great the taste is OK. We ordered together and got the food in different time.🫢 Inthe end of the dinner we got some candy, limonchello and some glasses of sweet and sour drink. It was a really surprise, because it was free. 🥂🥗🍹 Thanks 💐

A truly excellent seafood restaurant! They offer a great selection of dishes and wines, and the food is prepared very quickly. As a delightful bonus, at the end they serve a delicious lemon sorbet and limoncello – the perfect finish to a wonderful meal

The place was great, the staff was amazing, and the food was delicious. We ate there every single day of the trip and it was an amazing choice.

Beautiful place, amazing people and the food is always 10/10. The wait and slightly higher prices are worth the experience. We have never waited longer than 10 minutes for the food. This year, we received complimentary gummies, sorbet and local liquors to try before paying.

Lovely seafood restaurant on the Lignano Sabbiadoro strip of restaurants, shops, etc. The decor was gorgeous and because of the open design, it felt like we were sitting outside (even though we were technically indoors). I ordered the mixed fried seafood plate and a salad and my friend had carbonara. There was some kind of mistake and they gave her 2 bowls of pasta but it was correctly quickly. My seafood was yummy.... fried and flavored well (not bland). My salad was delicious too. Service was attentive although somewhat cold and impersonal. I don't really mind though, as long as they're not being rude, i don't need anyone to kiss my ass. I think we paid around 25 euros a person including drinks. Great meal. The only thing i hated was that they let the people selling their random trinkets (on the strip) walk around and ask you if you'd like to buy something. It's obnoxious!

I would say it's the best restaurant in Town. We totally fall in love with this place. Our vacation in Lignano was 10 days and at least 6 times we were here. Food is amazing here! Everything is freshly cooked and very tasty. We tried a lot of things from the menu. Fried Seafood mix is to die for! Portions are big. Service is very friendly and quick. Staff speaks English and German. Ambience is very cozy. We will come back here many times for sure!

This is my favourite restaurant in Lignano because the staffs are very professional and nice. The meals was boiled quickly and very tasty. Pizzas were super tasty and spaghetti the same. We got starter from pizza's dought and when we have to paid we got small glass of strawberries shakes. We were satisfied. I wish visiting this place again as soon as possible.

Nice food ,nice service ! It like the family here.Everyone is so nice here! I almost eat food here everyday !
