Croc’s Resort & Casino

We rented a one bedroom condo and it was excellent. The bed, bedding, and pillows were perfectly comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job, the condo was sparkling clean every time. The staff was efficient and friendly. We stayed six days and the food options, while very good, started to seem limited. The food was mostly delicious but it was a bit inconsistent with something great one day and the next day (there were 4 people in our group) different in size and composition. Overall it was a fun trip. Costa Rica is beautiful.

we stayed three nights in the beginning of off-season, the hotel felt a bit empty and lifeless. Our room was fantastic, spacious and super clean. the staff were friendly. attention to detail needed in some areas, food service was pretty slow upon arrival on a saturday evening, landscapers used a weedwhacker rather than a lawn mower to take care of some grass on the beach side, the machine was buzzing for hours, breakfast was fine but honestly repetitive, not sure if that is a peak season thing or not. we ended up going off site to eat dinner for a more local cuisine. glad we stayed in the condo, it was worth having the kitchen to prepare some fruit, the laundry to keep clean before heading home, and the extra space to spend time there rather than by the pool or completely empty (not even chairs) beach.

Highly recommend! We were blown away by the customer service and fantastic hospitality. All of the resort staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The front desk team, the housekeepers, the bartenders, etc all showed us genuine kindness. ||The resort was one of the cleanest and most well-maintained properties I’ve ever stayed at.||One of the top highlights of our stay was the authentic Costa Rican breakfast included each morning. Fresh local fruits and a perfectly seasoned omelette with local ingredients, beans/rice, and sweet plantains. The resort coffee was the best coffee I’ve ever had.||We caught a bunch of tuna, and the restaurant there cooked it up for us two different ways which showed they were willing to go above and beyond.||The resort pool was spectacular. Crystal clear water, a waterfall, and even a basketball hoop.||I was happy with the soft, cozy bed - it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Hard to describe the beauty of the sunset, so I attached some pics here. ||I felt like the location of the resort was perfect. It is close enough to explore the local town and beaches, but it still feels like a secluded getaway.||I’m looking forward to returning

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Croc's Resort and Casino! We were pleasantly surprised by the cost and quality of the food and drink at the pool bar. We had 2 meals there, and both were reasonably priced and delicious. We also enjoyed our complimentary breakfast--I loved the typical Costa Rican breakfast each day. Our room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. My only complaint is the walls were a bit thin, and we had a young family staying next to us. Unfortunately, the young children were crying very often and very early in the morning, and we were able to hear them pretty clearly through the walls. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

Absolutely Amazing Stay – 5 Stars! I had an incredible experience during my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the level of customer service was top-notch. The bell person was warm and welcoming, the receptionist was efficient and friendly, and every interaction I had with the staff whether in the restaurant, room service, or housekeeping was consistently excellent. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel at home. The entire hotel was spotless, quiet, and in fantastic condition. It’s the perfect place for both friends and families peaceful, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. I truly appreciated the relaxing atmosphere and attention to detail in every aspect of my stay. I can confidently say I’ll be coming back again. Highly recommended!

The rooms are nice and well kept. You can also get the ocean view if you pay extra for it. The rest of amenities especially food are bad and extremely expensive - not worth the value of what you pay for. Expect to pay $10 for a tiny hard waffle with m&m on top. $10 for one bite of fruit, they call it a plate of fruit but it is half baby banana sliced in two and a tiny tiny piece of papaya and pineapple. The prices are outrageous compared to what they provide. Dinner was so bad, very small portion and expensive for nothing. Unauthorized surprise charges at checkout: Be very careful to check your bill and ask for itemized receipt when you checkout. They sneak in charges you did not authorize. We were charged extras tips we did not authorize on the top of mandatory tip plus the one we generously gave of our own will, they added extra big tip to our bill. We asked them about it - and oh boy, they had to call managers one after another delaying us for extra 30 min for the charges which we did not authorize. No apology was given to us in the end.

Do not allow your daughters or any girls to go alone. Several condo owners that like to cozy up to them if they think they are alone. No security. Management is afraid to confront condo owners about any wrongdoing. I would recommend going somewhere else. Casino is one small room. Not what the pictures portray. Definitely not what they advertise.

The noises from the upstairs apartments were loud. I would recommend not staying on the floor below them. The rooms that were one floor below didn't get any noise. That's where I would go. Carpet would also absorb some of the noise in the hallways, but the hotel itself was wonderful.
