Crooners and Cocktails

Wow.. What a lovely experience. The ambiance is perfect for any occasion. The food was amazing. My steak was perfectly cooked, which is hard to come by. The chocolate mousse was delightful. The drinks were great. The service was top notch all around from the hostess to our wonderful waiter to the chef. I just have so many nice things to say, and I'm really looking forward to going back!

I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is very romantic and the food is fantastic. The chef was so nice and came out to greet us during dinner which was awesome. The drinks were also amazing. If you haven't checked this place out, you are missing out!

Great choice for a Saturday date night! Made a reservation for 8:30pm which was a good idea because this place is rightfully popular. Although our table wasn't quite ready the friendly and attentive staff made room for us a the bar which created outstanding cocktails. Dinner menu is diverse and delicious. I would highly recommend the fondue appetizer and the monkfish entree...both are absolutely sublime! looking forward to another visit in this swanky little place.

What a gem! Nestled towards the top of Exchange Street (right next to the Temple Street Garage for easy parking,) you're still in the Hub of the Old Port at Crooners & Cocktails. We went for Happy Hour after work and was thoroughly impressed with Crooners & Cocktails. The vibe of the place is cool, and is executed very well. We sat at the bar, where none of our stools wobbled (I can't tell you how many places I've gone with "wobbly" chairs, it really makes a difference when drinking out of a martini glass!) and the bar did not feel cheap. The Bathrooms were clean and also made of nice materials. The staff was attentive & friendly, offering more information about the menu, and volunteering to take pictures of my friends & I as we failed at some selfies. The drinks were great. I had a Cosmo & a Classic Martini and was impressed with both. Very clean, smooth drinks that were in my hand moments after being ordered. The food was delicious! We had a sampler (okay, we actually had two samplers because we had to order seconds,) that consisted of meatballs, dates wrapped in bacon, stuffed mushrooms & deviled eggs. All of the food was fresh and flavorful with hints of Sriracha. We found the prices to be fair, really not expensive at all for quality drinks & food in the Old Port. We will be going back!

I was drawn in by the music coming from the open door as we walked by. Went inside for a martini as the poster of Frank, Samy and Dean seemed to suggest that it was the thing to do. We stayed for dinner and the food was excellent. The atmosphere was fantastic, great service, warm and friendly. We found a new home in Portland. .

Took a vacation to Maine recently and tried this new restaurant I found on line. Loved the name and gave it a try. The service was great and the food made to perfection. Had a delightful meal. The ambiance was very nice. Great background of Frank and Dean music in the background two of the best crooners ever. Richard Buffalo NY

Waited 30 minutes for drinks, and table set-up (we had reservations?) was make-shift.. Bar out of stock with advertised drink speciality, waited an hour for Appetizers. Not all meals came out at same time - one meal came out 15 minutes after rest of table: Burger cold, french fries old.... Everyone was nice but service was amateur and remiss. Certainly NOT worth 200 tab. We wanted to love it. Definitely did. not.

Second visit. Our first visit was great.Second, couldn't hear the music, college football on the TV ,the greeter stood at the end of the bar with his phone in hand the whole time.. Food and drinks were excellent! After our first visit we expected more atmosphere to go along with the theme. We will be back.
