A beautiful place to stop for snacks and meals. I had the best lemon meringue pie I've ever tasted. The hot chocolate and cooked breakfast where of high quality.Would highly recommend going here.

Pleasant and friendly. However, many more vegan options (savoury and sweet, hot and cold) would be needed on the menus, please - we would have ordered lots of hot vegan mains and vegan cakes, but instead we just picked up a few bits from the shop.

Great cafe and shop. Roast beef sandwich was delicious. As was the local ice cream. Great location and outdoor space nice. Staff super friendly. Well with a visit.

This is a lovely place to stop for a break if you're currently crawling along the A66. I usually take a break at the least relaxing place in the North (Scotch Corner), but this is a lot better. The coffee was lovely, and I enjoyed the chocolate muffin. The staff are lovely, and the prices are very reasonable. If I have more time when I visit next, I'll try a cooked meal. Really happy that I called in.

Had a small breakfast with a latte and the farm produce was excellent. The lovely lady on the till ( with neck tatoos)was superb, made me feel very welcome and was great to chat to. She said( hopefully) the shop will be getting doggy ice cream in as it is all the rage. The sausages for the dogs was the same as for us lucky humans and yes totally delicious, our 4 legged friend loved it. The bottled beer which my wife brought was excellent I liked the Ruby beer best. Top marks for everything!!

We had a fab lunch in Cross Lanes Organic Farm. The food was amazing and arrived at reasonable waiting time. My only question was with it being so busy the upstairs was not open, some people had to walk out as there were no tables available downstairs. There is a nice shop as well, some local produce and good quality food.

The cafe looks better than it is. Lovely location and building but cafe food is not organic or good. Quiche had chewy pastry Kids hotdog was cold and boring - why not serve a nice farm sausage? Chips were basic frozen fries when I would have expected nice home made chips. Shame.

We were so disappointed, very limited menu we both had a burger and a coffee, £37. Burger was not nice, lots of horrible burger sauce and a bun that disintegrated. Both left most of it and didn’t finish our coffee. Ten years ago we had the most amazing breakfast here. Now we know why the car park was so quiet!
