Good stop off on the way to the Lake District - Plenty of different breakfast and brunch choices, friendly staff and a nice set up - Didn't buy anything from the farm shop but it certainly looked impressive!

Such a hidden gem! Lovely staff. Love the little farm shop too! I had the cream of tomato soup and it was just delicious! I don’t usually like tomato soup but this has truly made me like it! 🍅 I just wish they had the Pizza there! 🍕

We now live within 5 mins of this fantastic place. The food is good, the prices fair and the staff awesome! The shop has excellent meat and produce and a great selection of other things (inc wine and beer). Again, awesome staff. Thank you

We were in the area for a few days visiting friends and popped in here for a quick coffee. By the end of our visit we had also bought some great food from the lovely farm shop including charcoal Cheddar (which was begging to be tried). We also bought a beautiful and very reasonably priced painting done by a local artist. My only regret is that this isn't my local farm shop

If you find yourself travelling along the A66 and need a break this is the place to stop. Great food, great helpful staff, great farm shop all at reasonable prices. Oh and not to forget it’s dog friendly. Well worth a visit.

Really enjoyed the glass workshop on Saturday. Despite the snow Cross Lanes opened for the workshops. Also included lovely food and staff there are always friendly . Great to get engrossed in some arty crafty stuff for Christmas. Many thanks

Lovely staff, super food, quick service and a lovely environment. Would heartily recommend calling en route to your destination. Very good value too.
