The most incredible and thoughtfully made gluten free pizza I’ve ever had, I truly can’t recommend this hidden gem enough. If you’re driving through Ned, you should absolutely stop here for the best pizza in town. Kara our waitress was so friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to us and it made the experience that much more enjoyable.

Honestly, the best pizza I’ve ever had in my entire 39.25 years of life. The dough was so light and crispy and the topping combinations were orgasmic. I am however slightly concerned for my sister after our dining experience. First she was trying to take food off of my plate even though she had her own, then she didn’t want to leave and was refusing to get in the car. She thought the pizza was as in love with her as she was with it and it was quite the process to drag her away. She hasn’t stopped talking about it and we’re actually considering dropping her off there and letting it be their problem. Shame on them for making pizza this good. If you’re in town and you don’t go, lol, you’re dumb. Tara, we love you, you were awesome.

Had a wonderful lunch after driving the peak to peak highway. We sat in the patio and enjoyed beautiful fall colors. The wood fire pizza was delicious and the service was excellent. Well worth the wait for a table and worth a stop if you are ever in Nederland.

Sat on heated back patio. Good beer selection. Our ranking of the pizzas we ordered was: 1. Paradiso 2. Denver Savory Canoli Pizza 3. Apres-Ski Great vibes. Will be back.

Google
All of the food was great! Artichoke hearts, pizza, the too little bowl of ice cream with the cookie that just makes you want MORE, aisle d the beer selection. There was nothing disappointing in my entire experience!

This place is popping! Waited 15 mins to put our name in, but only waited an additional 20 for a table. The view on the patio alone is worth it. Do yourself a favor and order the Davila pizza. Some of the best I have ever had. Well worth the wait.

We recently drove through Nederland while on a drive in the mountains. One of the 1st places we saw was Crosscut Pizzeria and Taphouse. We immediately know we wanted to eat there even though we had plans to eat in Bolder later. We decided to have a snack just so we could try it out until next visit. The Garlic Bread Pizza was amazing and the Cicchetti was a great starter. They have a great selection of beers and sodas as well. Definitely give them a try and don't forget to explore the rest of the town.

Stopped in Crosscut Pizza. This wasn’t my first time here and couldn’t tell you which offroad trails got us there from Boulder but I wanted to go back. The staff is friendly and made us feel like locals. Our server recommended the Elk Meatballs and TEO pizza. I don’t drink beer so that part is lost on me but the other diners seemed to enjoy it. I will return if ever back in Nederland.

Yelp
We just happened to be going through Nederland around lunch and the town looked so cool we had to stop. We are glad we did and found Crosscut. It is a cozy restaurant with a giant wood fired pizza oven in the middle. It even had a heated deck, we didn't sit out there but it was such a cute spot. We got two pizzas and both were delicious, quality pizzas. House made dough with fresh, local toppings. Our favourite was the Paradiso but we would recommend either one. So so so good! If you happen to be going through this little town you HAVE to stop. The service was impeccable. Our sever was very knowledgeable, told us about the food and how it's made and made excellent recommendations. She seamed very happy to be there and enhanced our dining experience.

Yelp
Amazing food and service!! So glad we stopped!! Try the "garlic bread" pizza with mushrooms and prosciutto. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere made for a lovely evening. PS. The parking app is very difficult to navigate, but we didn't get a ticket LOL

Yelp
Widely known by locals for the finest meals and craft libations in town. It's common to have to wait a few minutes when an eatery is as delicious as Crosscut. Plus the staff are super friendly and equally as hard working. The quality of everything is fantastic!

Yelp
I loved the place, will be back again! Plenty of seating inside and outside. The selection of pizza was good and the pizza itself was soooo tasty. Will be back here again when I stop by!

Yelp
Very cool pizza spot in the center of town! Plenty of parking in the plaza across the street. We came on a Saturday afternoon with no wait and sat on a table outside. Beautiful view of the river across. It was a little chilly but they did have heaters that helped. We ordered a margarita and a cheese pizza. Loved the crust that they do, it's crispy which i'm a big fan of. Good fresh flavor on the cheese as well. The pizza itself is a little on the doughy side which I'm not a fan of but it was still good. Just my personal preference that I like it a little thinner and cooked a little longer. We also got the green tomato and cheese as an appetizer which I loved. The cheese was so good, very strong which is my favorite. I've never had the mustard seed tomatoes before and it paired so nicely with the cheese. Huge fan of that appetizer and would order it again. Loved our stop here, definitely recommend for anyone who loves a good view and loves good pizza!

Yelp
After visiting Nederlands we were driving through and decided to stop at Crosscut. We had an amazing salad and pizza along with great beer. We got the arugula salad with prosciutto. Then we got the Diavola pizza (elevation calabrese salame, pickled fresno chiles, provolone piccante, grana padano & mozzarella, spicy marinara). We also enjoyed a rare trait beer. It's a great view along the river and the service was quick.

Yelp
"Yo, Crosscut, you did it!" Just like Rocky II, we had another KNOCKOUT experience that then lead to a house press conference. Ultimately, addressing in a formal statement that Crosscut serves one of our favorite pizzas in Colorado. Why is it so good? Maybe, it is the fact that the dough is trained up (fermented) for 3 days before being dressed up into their fighting gear and thrown into the ring of fire (pizza oven). The product is a hearty, rustic almost sourdough-y pizza that you 100% want to go 9 rounds with! What's the vibe? A sweet mountain nook that always has a solid crowd! The staff has great ringside assistance. They keep you hydrated and set you up to win! What to order? TEO, for sure. It used to be the Extra Special Cheese. If you read my first review, it edged out the pizza it went against. It's a Mike Tyson just a beast that beats any other pizza on the table. Beyond the Teo, any other pizza! They have a rotating menu which keeps you on your toes. You can try to have quick judgement and dip but if you dodge one pizza punch... ooooh they are gunna get you with a pizza uppercut and still KNOCK you OUT!

Yelp
Stopped in around 2:30pm on a Sunday with my husband and it was very popular spot! Checked in with the hostess at the front and had about a 15 minute wait before getting a text that our table was ready, but it gave us the opportunity to walk by the river and enjoy the beautiful views of the quaint Nederland area! Our waitress was friendly, energetic and knowledgeable about the food. She explained to us the 3-day fermentation process of their dough and you can really taste the difference from a normal dough! Service was a bit slow, but since it was busy that was to be expected. Lots of families in the section we were sitting in so the noise level was loud and lively. Ordered the Pickled Cherry Peppers Stuffed w/ Prosciutto + Provolone, WeldWerks Strawberry Cheesecake Sour Beer, Diavola and Mario Pizzas. Everything was delicious! Would absolutely come back and try out the other pizza selections.

Yelp
We went on a morning hike and wanted to go grab a drink and lunch afterwards. This place was the perfect place! They have an outside area where dogs are allowed which was nice because I had a dog with me. We ordered the garlic bread pizza and added prosciutto and WOW!! This pizza was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. You have to try this if you come here! Definitely would make the trip back just for the pizza!
google avatar

Jacqueline T.

Yelp
We stopped here after a hike and it was a great choice. It's a popular place, so there was a wait, but we just browsed some shops around town. My husband and I shared: - Vodka Pizza - Jacob Both pizzas were very good. The olives made the vodka pizza a bit too salty for me, so I just took them off. I'd definitely come back for more pizza.

Yelp
If you can eat one meal in Nederland, make it at Crosscut Pizzeria. It's without question the most popular restaurant in town with a good sized dining room, patio and deck overlooking the mountains. In a mountain town in Colorado, more often than not you'll find "mountain pizza." Not here by a long shot! Crosscut is slinging traditional wood fired pizzas, bordering Neapolitan style for those counting at home. If you're bold enough to sell this style of pizza, odds are it's going to be good. And they have the oven, the technique and the execution to back it up. The dough is made with Colorado milled flour, using a three day fermentation process. And the best part? Pizzas are prepared and served one at a time. Let that sink in for a moment! +Margherita alla Vodka // basil, fresh mozzarella, parmesan, olive oil, vodka sauce. What a showstopper of a pie. The creamy vodka sauce paired with that beautifully charred crust was a winner from the second it hit the table. This was my wife's pie and I desperately wanted to eat the entire thing myself. +Anello di Fuoco // calabrian chili, basil, fresh oregano, mozzarella, tomato sauce. My only gripe with this pie was that it didn't have more heat. It's quite possible the calabrian chili was omitted, which is a shame because it's one of my favorite ingredients ever (I'm a good italian boy!) They were so busy and we were so hungry it didn't matter. The pie was absolutely delicious regardless. The char, the bubbles, the crust, the simplicity. This is Italian cooking at its finest. Prices are extremely approachable in this day in age. Don't sleep on their great beer and wine list either. If you're lucky enough to get offered a seat on the deck, DO IT. Slip a waiter an extra $20 if you have to. The view of the mountains and the sound of the rushing creek is unparalleled. I've heard A LOT about this place over the last few years and it completely lived up to the hype. Crosscut is the place to be in little old Nederland!

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about this place. The food is fantastic; in my opinion they serve the best pizza in Colorado. If it's busy, put your pizza order in ASAP! Good things take time and we have waited up to an hour for pizzas durring prime / peak hours. They have a great drink menu and tasty apps so hang out and enjoy the experience. Beautiful location. Meat eaters, Vegans AND GF folks will all be happy with the options on this menu.

Yelp
Love the pizza very much and also the back porch was awesome to enjoy the meal with the small creek. Serving speed was also quite fast. Dough was chewy and special than other places! But for me, maybe next time make my own pizza! Chorizo was a bit salty to me-

Yelp
I was told to check this place out by a friend who lives in Boulder. It was a cute place, busy, but they had a little spot out in the patio that was nice for a party of one. Nice view. The pizza came out rather quickly and it was good, but I personally don't love the charred taste that can come from wood fired pizzas. Service was decent. Not super warm environment, but would probably be more fun with a group of people. Ned is a super cute mountain town too.
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped in based on the other Yelper recommendations and it didn't disappoint! The pizzas were creative and tasty The service was prompt and the view from the back deck was super. This is definitely a repeater for us on our next trip to Nederland.
google avatar

Kelly A.

Yelp
The pizza here was delicious! It was pretty crowded when we arrived but were seated quickly on the outside patio. I got the Mario pizza and really enjoyed it. One of the best pizza crusts I've had.
google avatar

Yelp
We came here after getting poured and even hailed on during our hike through the Lost Lakes trail. It was sunny outside when we arrived so we opted for an outdoor seat. By the time arrived, it started pouring again, so we huddled underneath one of the seating umbrellas to scarf down our food. Greek salad - I thought this would be a personal size salad but it was actually pretty large and probably for sharing. I ate it all myself though, it was a classic Greek salad with fresh ingredients. Anello di Fuoco - the Calabrian chilis stood out when perusing the menu, so I opted for this one. Overall, the pizza was great, sauce, crust, and everything. I didn't taste much of the chili so that was the only minor disappointment. Service - the server was very nice and accommodating, the hostess was sort of grumpy though, I'm guessing she had to deal with some dissatisfied customers due to the rain, because she made sure to tell us we can't be reseated from outside if it rains in us.

Yelp
Great spot right near the river in downtown Nederland. We went with a party of three and were able to get seated outside with no wait at 2PM! We all got beers - I do wish they had Knotted Root on tap! The pizza was tasty too, I loved the hot honey - I got the Extra Special cheese with fresh jalapeños and bacon. As an Italian, I love a crispy crust. The dough was flavorful but definitely could've benefited from 1-2 more minutes in the oven. Would go back!

Yelp
You want excellent pizza at an awesome location? Want some hand crafted local beer and some simple but fancy food? You want Cross Cut! We were told about this place by our bartendress at the Stanley and unlike in the Shining, this bartender wasn't full of bad ideas about showing a woman her place by murdering her. The weather was still sunny and cool when we arrived so we opted for a patio spot. I had a hard kombucha while we tasted some delightful canteloupe with prosciutto de Parma. It was drizzled in a little olive oil with some tender pea tendrils and was perfection on a plate. Tastes like a cool summer day! We had one of the meatier options on the menu, but you can have them load your pizza up with veg for all I care. You do you and better yet, they'll take care of it for you. The wood fired char on the crust makes those pizza bones worth gnawing on! Get you some!

Yelp
Outing to Nederland. Had seen reviews for this restaurant and he felt like pizza so we ventured in. Personable hostess seated us and pointed out the beer menu above the door frame. After going over the menu we decided to build our own pizza starting with a cheese base. Pepperoni, mushrooms and ham. The server took our order and we relaxed while we waited for our meal. It was nice being able to check out the street from where I sat. Pizza was good. Not a huge fan of ham so I let him have most of it. There was a note in the menu stating they didn't do half toppings. Perhaps I should have clarified if that also included the build your own. But no biggie, just picked off most of the ham. He gave me some mushrooms in return. :) Inclusive restrooms - very cool. Clean. It was a good meal. Relaxed environment. We parked a little ways away and walked down to the restaurant. No street parking out front.

Yelp
Probably the best a la vodka sauce I've had on a pizza! Definitely recommend, incredible quality ingredients.
google avatar

Yelp
Pizza was tasty and service was good considering how busy it was. We sat outside on a cool night in July. It was great.
google avatar

Joy Q.

Yelp
Homemade pizza - meatball: strongly recommend. Good portion for hungry humans waiting for pizzas (took a long time) - Hawaiian pizza: pretty good - Italian pizza: too heavy for my liking - Greek salad: refreshing. Highly recommend with added protein

Yelp
Best pizza we've had In Colorado and rivals NY pizza. Thanks to an 800 degree oven the crust is very crispy and the toppings are a great complement. Good beer selection too. Definitely worth a trip to Nederland!

Karen B.

Yelp
Nice outdoor seating at shared tables! Meet the locals and their dogs, very pet-friendly place. Beer selection was amazing from the multitude of breweries nearby. Pizza was so tasty, oven fired, thin crust, fresh ingredients. I wonder if they make their own fresh mozzarella cheese...
google avatar

Yelp
Just passing through Nederland overnight to acclimate but was so happy to find this place! Such a cute little pizza place in the center of Nederland. There's patio seating with cute little lights outside. Inside isn't so big and the bar was full but I got a table by the window to watch the activity. It was a busy night but the service was still fantastic. My server took great care of me despite also having a couple of big tables. I ended up getting a BYO pizza and my server was able to explain some of the veg options and my pizza came out great! So glad I was able to take the leftovers because I can't wait to heat them up later! If I ever find myself close enough to Nederland again, I'll definitely come back here!
google avatar

Yelp
I don't drink, so no advice on beer, but I know good pizza when I see it and taste it and this is proper pizza! Obviously a transplant from my neck of the woods, chef is wonderful.

Yelp
I love... LOVE crosscut so much. Not only is the Neapolitan style pizza BOMB, but the ambiance and view are unbeatable. I always stop here if I'm in the area. The only bummer is that there's usually always a wait. Stick with it though - it's usually faster than they estimate you at. I recently tried the clam pizza and was a big fan. Definitely ask to sit on the back patio so you can overlook the river while enjoying your za.

Liz Z.

Yelp
Best place to stop in Nederland!! Pizza is incredible, staff are always friendly, plus a patio with a view! I've been here multiple times now and it never disappoints. There might be a wait but it is well worth it! This most recent time we had the mini caprese appetizer, vodka pizza, and Ned Haven pizza. Plus a side of homemade ranch. The Ned Haven pizza comes with baby clams and a lemon ricotta sauce, sounds funky but it was SO good! Highly recommend, even worth the drive from Boulder or Denver with some great views along the way!
google avatar

Yelp
this is the best pizza in the state of colorado. We came back twice in 3 days. the mushroom and 3 cheese pizza were incredible The others were amazing but the shroomies and special cheese really stole the show. order the hot honey and the herbed butter milk (ranch *chefs kiss*) straight up ascended through the space time continuum staff was 10/10 jessie helped us the first night at the bar was super chill and amplified the experience caroline helped us the second night and was the best waitress i've ever had. she guided my beer selection to really curate the night. I would drive out to nederland just to have this pizza and I live 1000 miles away. thank you for the spiritual experience

Yelp
Top 10 experience for pizza, atmosphere, service, apps & the beer.... In this order...Pumpkin cobbler sour beer (it's one of THE most delicious & complex beers I've ever had), go ahead & get every app on the menu (they go beautifully together), & the extra special cheese pizza (holy pizza gods...it's insanely delicious) P.S. they make their own tasty ranch Amy was beyond sweet & amazing!!! Excellent service! Thank you for making us feel special! We will be back...regularly! ***no pics, too busy enjoying the present moment & savoring every bite & sip

M R.

Yelp
Damn good dry rub wings. My wife and friends said the Hawaiian pizza ( shudders at the thought of the pineapple) was really good. Service was friendly and helpful. It feels lik it should be in some old building along a main street and not in a modern strip mall. Loved it.
google avatar

Harry M.

Yelp
On the suggestion of a couple of friends, we decided to try Crosscut. Had a great time! I had the Hawaiian pizza and it was awesome. She got the gluten free crust with Italian sausage. If you like gluten free crust, you have to try Crosscut. It's quite actually the best gluten free crust we've ever tried. My pizza had regular crust and it was perfect too. Crispy outside with a chewy inside. Seriously recommend Crosscut. You may have to wait for a table, but it's worth it!

Yelp
Visiting from NJ/NYC area where there is absolutely no shortage of amazing pizza. A few of my friends who are locals rave about this place so even though I was a little skeptical I had to try it. Started with arugula salad with pecorino cheese and it was amazing. One salad is more then enough for two people! We each got our own pie and it seemed like everyone else there did also. The special cheese i got was amazing! With pepperonj and grilled onions. There's also some Chile honey on it that adds an incredible flavor when you mix all these quality ingredients together. So much to choose from topping wise! Friendly staff also

Yelp
We are lucky to have this place Consistently good food and classy, and also local friendly somehow. Wild combo.

Tony G.

Yelp
This pizza is some of the best pizza and I say that as the partner of an east coaster. Sometimes we drive up to Ned and shape our day around being able to get the hot honey pizza. It is so freaking good. Friendly staff always and always a fun vibe.

Anna J.

Yelp
A very decent pizza joint - pizza, salads, side dishes - for a touristy town. Classed up food but still within our budget.
google avatar

Lindsey T.

Yelp
Would otherwise probably avoid a restaurant due to it being Mother's Day, the most annoying days to go out to eat besides Valentine's day but just finished a hike nearby and was starving. When I asked how long the wait was I was surprised there was seating available right away. With outdoor seating overlooking the Upper Boulder Creek, views of the picturesque town of Nederland and surrounding mountains, there is a gorgeous yet casual dining environment. Until the sun came out, it was perfect but later was wishing there was some shade. There is a covered patio, but it was closed for construction so especially at that altitude, I was glad I had SPF 50 and a hat. We started with the JuneShine Blood Orange Mint Hard Kombucha, daughter selected the gorgonzola bacon wrapped dates, and Hatch green chile/pepperoni pizza. The chile wasn't an imposter from Pueblo, or Anaheim chile. As former burqueñas, we were delighted. Crust was light, lightly charred on the outside but could have been in oven a minute longer. . everyone else was also folding their pizza in half. blistered Shishitos looked yummy, ordered those too needed, not so and they weren't so blistered but we were full and they were perfect for air fryer at home. !
google avatar

Victoria B.

Yelp
The best pizza I've had in a long time. It was packed and for good reason. Great prices, amazing pizza toppings (don't miss the special cheese pizza with chili honey), and perfect crust (a little on the burnt side but that's how I like it). Honestly a highlight of my day/weekend.
google avatar

Kailey P.

Yelp
Top 3 best pizza I've ever had. My husband and I shared a pizza and it was good enough that we got a second, of the same, to share. Pizza came out pretty fast and our waitress was very nice. The chili honey that comes on the pizza, I think specifically on the bacon, is so good and adds a nice sweetness. The other two friends with us also really enjoyed their pizzas. They ranked it 9.5 out of 10. The fresh mozzarella was really nice. We also got a peach mango cider that was very good, it was on the sweeter side. Restaurant had a nice interior, definitely a casual spot.
google avatar

Carlos I.

Yelp
The staff is rude and uncivilized. They have no manners and appear to operate in a separate, slower dimension. Please keep in mind Nederland is a stop-over with no police department or municipal services. Take in the sights and drive 20 minutes to Boulder for proper food and service. If you make it past the 1 hour wait and the inattentive staff, prepare for tasteless pizza that lacks salt. The location itself is a wood shack next to a ditch. It's a pit in the ground, in the middle of nowhere.
google avatar

Mattie L.

Yelp
Best pizza everrrrrrr! I'm not kidding. I drove over an hour while visiting colorado and was so happy that I did. The service was fast and friendly, and the food and drinks were exceptional.
google avatar

Ryan T.

Yelp
Been here several times. Love the pizza and it is well worth the drive up too. Staff has been nice and ha e not had any issues with orders.
google avatar

Prudence D.

Yelp
Really liked the Carpenter (pepperoni and green olives) and the Extra Special Cheese (bacon and jalapeños). We had the Vodka Pizza as well and didn't enjoy it as much as the first two. I didn't love the sausage used, but all ingredients are really high quality. There were different types of olives on different pizzas and each olive looked straight from an olive bar. Loved the crust and the view from the back patio was phenomenal. A really great way to end a day of hiking. We'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Morgan S.

Yelp
Awesome pizza with awesome views! This place is right in the little downtown strip of Nederland. The perfect stop after a long hike. I'm vegan and had no problem finding enough food here. I got the marinara pizza and the Greek salad without feta. They also had vegan ice cream!
google avatar

Andy B.

Yelp
A+ pizza, great mountain town atmosphere, and a consistently good service are the things I have to say about Crosscut. Go there. You'll probably love it!
google avatar

Staci H.

Yelp
Our favorite place to eat in Nederland! We always make our way to Nederland when driving through the mountains to enjoy the "Extra special cheese" pizza. The pizza dough is crisped to perfection every time. The crosscut meatballs, extra special cheese, and sour beer is the perfect combination for a sunny or snowy day! There is plenty of seating inside and out. The service is always great.

Natalie M.

Yelp
So good so good so good. Manage craziness of so many customers. Very chill atmosphere. Great lil chapters salad. Good carpenter pizza.. Didn't have room to try a cider. Friendly staff. Good service - not hurried; attentive. Will try to stop here when I pass through Nederland!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
This was honestly my first time eating in Nederland ever haha so this was a great first experience! It was pretty busy and we got a seat back by the bar which overlooked the river so that's a nice feature of this place :) The pizza was great we really enjoyed everything about it! The crust was really nice which made it stand apart from others and the toppings were excellent. A decent beer selection as well for a little place so that's nice to see. Our server was busy but still handled having all those tables and checked on us enough so yeh it was overall a very good place to stop by if you're in town.
