I started CrossFit in early January after nearly ten years of inactivity. It was also my first time trying this sport, and my experience has been entirely positive.
The team at CrossFit Poblenou is welcoming, always motivated, and adapts to our needs and abilities in any situation. This allows for consistent, safe progress. It’s worth saying: CrossFit is intense and demanding, but incredibly beneficial. Thanks to Andrés, Luis, Pedro, Anahi, and the whole team, I went from 98 kg to 91 kg in just three months.
The atmosphere is also great. The staff are always upbeat and encouraging, and so are the people attending the classes. Even though most of us don’t know each other, there's no judgment—just mutual support and encouragement at the end of each session.
As for the facilities, everything you need is there, whether it’s in the main gym or the second training room. Poblenou offers a wide variety of coached classes—from WODs to specialized sessions like Body Armor or Endurance. Mobility sessions are also available, which is a real bonus. They offer classes at various times to fit different schedules. You can even book a session with a nutritionist.
To sum it up, I highly recommend CrossFit Poblenou. The team is friendly, professional, and motivating. CrossFit is a challenging sport, but in a place like this, you can improve at your own pace, without pressure or judgment. After three months, I can see the results and confirm that it really works.
I’ve seen some comments about thefts, but I can’t say I’ve experienced anything like that. Overall, I find the place safe. If you want to avoid any risk, there are lockers available downstairs. In my opinion, these issues shouldn’t be blamed on the gym itself—everyone is responsible for their own belongings.
