Crossing Condotti, Tridente, Rome, Italy - Explore & Book

"This discreet hideaway is beguilingly close to the designer boutiques that throng Tridente, the area around Via Condotti. Fendi, Prada, Bulgari, Christian Lacroix, Dolce & Gabbana and hundreds of other lesser-known designers are all within easy reach. Not to mention the Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese, Piazza del Popolo and the Trevi Fountain. Crossing Condotti is an intimate downtown pad. Don’t expect a hotel; there are just a handful of rooms in this graceful townhouse, plus a self-catering apartment around the corner. Accommodation is romantic and extremely comfortable, with big beds and antique furnishings, yet the design has a light, delicate feel which makes this bolthole seem particularly serene. You get your own key and the small reception area is staffed during the day - they can book restaurants, tours and theatre tickets for you. There’s no breakfast, though a Nespresso machine in the communal kitchen will get you through until you reach a bar (of which there are many nearby) to breakfast as the Romans do: standing up. It’s great - cosy and quiet, and bang in the centre of town. Highs Reasonably priced for the quality of the rooms and the fantastic location by the Spanish StepsNice antique pieces, contemporary art, engravings and paintings in the rooms, plus original high wooden ceilingsImpressive level of comfort: enticing beds, soft linens, lots of L'Occitane toiletriesA private and exclusive feel with attentive, friendly staff; manager Davide made us feel completely at home during our 2018 revisitThe apartment makes a lovely home from home for small groups and families (thanks to its double sofabed),as well as those seeking a little more independence Lows No meals on site, but you can help yourself to Nespresso, complimentary soft drinks and biscuits laid out in the communal kitchen (available all day)You may hear the quiet murmur of the street outside, but that's a small price to pay for the locationThe Spagna Superior Room has no view (but it's very quiet and the bed is beautifully canopied)There's a fee for check-ins after 6.30pm without prior notice" - Abigail Blasi

Crossing Condotti (Rome, Lazio) 58 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Hoteliers in Rome seem to feel the pressure of thousands of years of civilization — most hotels strive to be as monumental as the city they serve. A place like Crossing Condotti, by contrast, shows there’s wisdom in keeping things relatively understated. It’s not your typical hotel, but these nine swanky accommodations in a townhouse just off the Spanish Steps are probably truer to the notion of contemporary Roman luxury than any number of marbled, colonnaded grand hotels." - Tablet Hotels

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Rome – A Perfect Stay at Crossing Condotti Staying at Crossing Condotti was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Rome. Tucked away just steps from the Spanish Steps, this elegant boutique hotel offers the perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort, all within walking distance of the city’s best restaurants, shopping, and historic landmarks. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The atmosphere is warm, peaceful, and beautifully curated with antique furnishings and fine art, making every corner feel thoughtfully considered and quietly luxurious. What truly set our stay apart, though, was the exceptional staff—especially Gérald. His gracious hospitality, attention to detail, and thoughtful recommendations made us feel more like welcomed guests in a friend’s exquisite home than hotel patrons. He went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless and even made our milestone birthday celebration extra special, which was very much appreciated. Despite being right in the center of everything, the hotel felt like a serene retreat. We always felt completely safe and cared for, which made it easy to relax and truly enjoy Rome. Crossing Condotti is a rare find… intimate, beautifully designed, ideally located, and managed with heart. We can’t wait to return.

The perfect hotel for the perfect Roman holiday. The location is ideal, the facilities quietly luxurious, the service friendly and helpful. No breakfast but it is surrounded by nice cafes. Premium in every sense, it feels like a home away from home.

Had this hotel set up via our wonderful travel agent and it is in the teeth of Rome, near the Spanish steps. The rooms are very comfortable with great beds and baths, but one of the real gems is the manager Gerald. He was so incredibly kind, honest and entertaining. My daughters just loved him and his exceptional wit, as we all did. If I ever get the opportunity to return to Rome which is my sincere hope, I would be overjoyed to get stay there again.

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about this special little place tucked away in the loveliest of locations close to The Spanish Steps. It was a true home away from home; elegant, yet cozy; close to everything, yet a quiet respite. It was so nice to have a little kitchen and lobby for coffee, tea, and other beverages. But hands down the best part was the staff- Thomas and Gerald went WAY above and beyond to make our stay so special. I was there with my daughter post college graduation as she embarked on a European tour with her girlfriends. The hotel staff made us feel so welcome and accommodated every little request, from storing luggage and providing adapters, to dinner reservations and transportation. I would come back again and again . . .

Yelp
This is, without doubt, one of the best hotels I have ever experienced. David was a star - so helpful and accommodating, with excellent restaurant recommendations! The rooms were beautiful, and it truly felt like a little home in the middle of the city. It was perfectly located to get everywhere, and we will definitely stay again!

Yelp
YES! Unequivocally, emphatically, without reservation - Yes! Crossing Condotti is a stylish and elegant, yet relaxing and welcoming, get away in the heart of Rome. Just steps from the Spanish Steps this boutique hotel is in a converted apartment. Upon arrival we were treated to a coffee while the staff went over a map of Rome with suggested stops and restaurants. The hotel offers a small kitchenette that is fully stocked with water, soft drinks, juice and beer. There is also an ice machine for chilling a nice bottle of prosecco to enjoy before heading out for a late dinner. There are only five rooms available - the one we had was lovely with a large canopy over the bed. The original rustic wood beam ceilings contrast beautifully with antique treasures brought to decorate from a villa in Sicily. The staff at the hotel could not have been nicer or more helpful. It was a wonderful place to stay during our getaway to Rome.
