Crosstown is such a great spot to hang in Memphis. Cozy up with a book, grab lunch with friends, run around with little ones, get some exercise in walking the steps, or sit and sip a brew (caffeinated or alcoholic). I wish I thought to come here more often. Highly recommend Global Cafe and the ice cream spot, and Art Bar has delicious craft cocktails. Definitely a Memphis favorite!

Google
This is the old Sears building from the 1930s. Memphis got a federal grant 160 million to recondition the building and the surrounding community. It has high-rise apartments for young professionals who want to live in the downtown area. Restaurants and bars in the bottom have of the building, a gym, a health care facility, a brewery, and even an FM terrestrial radio station. A cool performing arts Auditorium, and an art exhibition space. Very dog friendly, It a place for the family.

Google
Very nice mixed-use venue in Memphis. There is plenty of seating and outlets, making it a great place to do some remote work or just chill out. There are places to get coffee, sweet treats, and even meals if you desire. There is paid parking on the premises and plenty of it as well. I came here and worked remote and it was quiet enough to do that, including teleconferencing with no interference. Great spot and I will return.

Great assortment of restaurants, shops, entertainment, meeting spaces, health-care options, YMCA, family-oriented, pet friendly, etc.

Google
It’s definitely a quiet place on the weekend but during the week is definitely somewhere you wanna be. A whole Lotta different food items and of course we have a particular restaurant that is actually waiting on Keith Lee to make an appearance back in Memphis to give them a shot at the Keith Lee review!

Google
I love this place. My go to spot to finished up some work that I don’t want to do at home. Plenty of different food options and drinks to choose from. Very clean and well kept. The art and design throughout the building is refreshing and gives me inspiration!

Google
Great place to spend some time with kids. Plenty of places to visit, loved the homage to the Sears building and reconstruction history. We loved the arts, food, and photo ops. There is also a theater on site. I wish the parking was free and not charged. That’s my only complaint

Yelp
Exploring Crosstown Concourse is a great way to blow an afternoon! My wife and I have gotten lost inside the back hallways and upper floors on several occasions. It's like an indoor hike with no trailheads or markers. You just keep meandering and going through doors until you hit the seemingly inevitable dead end. We have ended up in some strange places and felt we should turn back on a couple of occasions. Press on, you may actually make it to the roof and hang out with Melania. Now, I am no historian but I believe that this place was originally built by John Overton in 1824 with his merry band of Umpa-Loompas. They had rescued the Bluff City from savages just a mere five years before and needed a temple to honor that feat. Here lies that temple! It's held up amazingly well for such an old building. 200 years man! That is a long time. Those damn little guys are bad asses. After that, Sears took it over in the late 1960's and ran their business in the ground sometime in the early 2000's. It sat empty for a while until some major area gentrification occurred in the mid 2010's. Don't fact check me on this, but I think Donald Trump has the whole upstairs as his place. Secret dudes don't want you to know this... Anyway enough history lessons.... I love the shops here! You can eat all kinds of different foods. You can see art! You can see history. You can listen to music. You can buy beautiful flowers. It's just a great place! You can even get some killer chicken tenders and wings at this place called Abners Chicken. Abner came over with the Mayflower, and his chicken tender breading recipe has stood the test of time and is just to die for! That Abners sauce is damn tasty. I cannot wait to get lost here again! Oh yea.... There is a brewery in the back of the place that gives you free beer if you mention Umpa-Loompas! Win '24 - 100/101

Yelp
They had Crafts and Drafts Holiday Market this past weekend and due to the rain it was held inside. This was my 2nd visit to Crosstown Concourse and I really enjoyed it. There were tons of local vendors with a variety of items that would make great gifts. Some of the restaurants also had specials going on for the occasion. The event was free and family and dog friendly. Mr and Mrs Clause even made an appearance for the kiddos but no reindeer just their dog. It was a cool way to spend the day, you had art, food, beer, shopping and music. What else would one need?

Yelp
Among the most inspiring places I've ever visited. A place that was once an abandoned, and derelict "Sears" catalog distribution center... transformed into a dynamic community, gathering place, full of shops, restaurants, an art gallery, a concert hall, a school, health and wellness locations, residential housing...re-built from the ground up reminiscent of the mythical story of the Phoenix rising from ashes. Crosstown concourse is an inspiring and awe inspiring place. It was a privilege to have enjoyed just a little bit of this awesome community.

Angee H.

Yelp
Crosstown Concourse is a shining star in Memphis. The vibe is warm and inclusive, a vibrant community that is ever-evolving. I was welcomed by Charity, leasing agent who took the time to listen and understand my wish list in a home here. 5 stars and bravo!! Love it!!

Mindy T.

Yelp
Nice place to visit. Full of shops, art work, and there's even a radio station inside. Only visited the first two floors but will definitely see what else is offered here on my next visit.

Jaime S.

Yelp
If you're ever in Memphis, check out Crosstown Concourse. It's an old Sears and Roebuck building, amazingly transformed into an amazing space with literally everything. There's places to dine, a nail salon, a hair salon, a museum, and a brewery to name a few. There a parking garage, which is perfect. Oh did I mention there's also apartments at the top, they call them Parcels. This is definitely one of the coolest places I've seen in Memphis. There's 9 floors, which have offices in each floor, literally you can find anything in here. There's also a YMCA and a pain management clinic. It's super people and dog friendly!! It's a great place to meet up with friends or even just to go alone and hang out, grab a cup of coffee from French Truck Coffee, a dessert from Lucy J's Bakery and then later have lunch at Farm Burger. I even saw there was theater there!!

Yelp
They call it Crosstown because it's so religious. They call it Concourse because a lot of ex-cons are in Memphis and they're eager to have intercourse with you, which is known as Con-course. Jk. Low key n jk. This place is pretty spectacular right down to the message which is written on the side of the parking deck which says your ass. I mean "Yours" - my voice dictation software is a perv. I think I know what that means. Yours, in this context. Is it very nice concept and it is actually realized in all the facilities that are here although they are very expensive. So I wonder how many people are actually getting free memberships to the YMCA because of how poor they are, I mean this is a poor, poor city, and expensive gym memberships don't correlate. Anyway, the parking situation here is kind of annoying and I think could have been better done, but when you have this many things in one place, that's always going to be a bit iffy. Very oddly designed, but a very excellent YMCA that people are not using enough.

Tammy M.

Yelp
This place is awesome !! If you are ever in Memphis this is a MUST VISIT. You can look it up online and get a better history on the building. In a nutshell, this building was a very large Sears store and distribution center. They gutted the building and modernized it. There are dozens of restaurants. There is a YMCA. And so manny other things !!! I think there are apartments too !! Lots of Art Deco. One thing that I really enjoyed were the old pictures that they took during renovation. It's so interesting to see what they have done with this building. It's not in the best part of town but there is a well policed very large parking building that provides ample free parking for the building. I can't wait to come back to Memphis and visit this building again. It had so much to offer.. What a great renovation !!!

Elayna D.

Yelp
I love what has been done with the old Sears building. I can remember going there as a child, but today was my first visit and it brought back memories. They have before and after photos of the space on the walls. The artwork in this place is beautiful and colorful. I love that Church Health Center has expanded and is still thriving! For those that live in the building it's one stop shopping just about, grocery store, food, pharmacy, etc. There are some local restaurants/favorites (Mempops, Global Cafe, Farm burger I think it is, pop a roos popcorn and more) and that's always a plus! It wasn't crowded today, but I've been told that events are held there and that's the best time to go. So check the website for upcoming events or don't either way I think a leisurely stroll through the space and people watching can also be the thing to do. I for one will return when I see events that interest me, but until then, I am glad I got the opportunity to visit.

Tiffany J.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting. I was very impressed with everything about it! They have several stores, eateries, businesses, and more. The lay out is cool and it is pretty hard to get lost. They have good parking. Therefore, it is not an inconvenience going there. You can you use the garage or the parking lot. While there, I stopped by The Juice Bar and they had great service. Cool Place!

Jody W.

Yelp
This place is so cool. I had no idea that the old Sears building was being converted into this incredible space for businesses, restaurants, shops, medical offices, art exhibits, places to chill....etc, There's a fairly large parking garage right across from several entrances and the indoor space was cool and comfortable (on an insanely hot day in May). I did notice a couple of ice cream shops and places that serve cold beverages (adult and otherwise), so it's a great escape from the heat. It's a cavernous space and is continuing to bring in new investors. I'm looking forward to seeing how it progresses in the future.

Jasmine N.

Yelp
Super fun place just to walk around, look at some small local businesses, and study at by yourself or with a group. Free wifi and free 2hr parking too. I always grab ice cream at Area 51 or a popsicle at Mempops whenever I'm here. If anyone's wondering, it closes at 10pm (when security starts coming around & telling people to leave).

LaShawn N.

Yelp
First visit was really exciting and entertaining. Oldest daughter wanted to take me out and treat me. And I must say the shops are amazing. I will return to visit the other shops within the Concourse. I love the artwork that's hanging throughout the lobby.

Alexis B.

Yelp
Crosstown Concourse is a unique, modern complex containing business offices, stores, restaurants, and more! We wandered around Crosstown Concourse for an hour or so this past weekend when we were in Memphis to visit my brother in law. We stopped in a small local art market, where we bought a few presents for the holidays. After that we wandered through several other shops and pop up shops before we went to Crosstown Arts. Crosstown Arts is a free gallery that had some really interesting pieces when we visited. So if you're looking for a place where you can wander around, grab a coffee or beer, grab a bite to eat, see some art for free, or do some shopping, check out Crosstown Concourse. It's modern and cool, and we had a great time exploring!

Vernice S.

Yelp
Visiting this place has brought back so many childhood memories. It's amazing how it transformed from a clothing store with office space to an open floor plan that consist of a school, shops, eateries & art exhibits. What a grate place to visit & walk around.

Brian L.

Yelp
Parking sucks! I'm too tall for the garage and had to park about 1/4 mile away. If I had a handicapped placard, I'd have plenty of spots to choose from. If I were pulling a trailer, I wouldn't be able to park at all. It was nice to check out the building and see it thriving with people and commerce. I've loved this building and I'm glad to see it get revitalized instead of destroyed. It's a Memphis icon. Construction is still ongoing. There's still lots to do. I especially liked the construction pictures that line the hallways. I'll share some pics.

Donna M.

Yelp
Boomers who grew up in Memphis have fond memories of the iconic Sears Roebuck & Co. superstore built in 1927. Today they stand in awe as they take in the transformation. A stunning revitalization of a gargantuan white elephant that stood empty for decades. Multipurpose is an understatement. The number of amenities housed under one roof is astounding. You must go in & experience the Crosstown Concourse. Make it a Lunch stop, there are several good choices. I've been there 3 times since the August Grand Opening, & enjoyed the meals & ambiance. Plan to stay & stroll for a while, as there is much to take in. The towering building now encompasses 1.5 Million square feet. My hat is off to the development, design, engineering, & construction teams that brought this amazing project to fruition. Truly a shining star on the Memphis landscape.

Rich R.

Yelp
Well, here comes the neighborhood. Still not 100% sure I understand this Chelsea Market meets Memphis. Why are so many people wearing scrubs? Apparently Crosstown Concourse is home to multiple medical and dental practices. Genius! If this was entirely retail it would be dead in a year. I cannot believe what they have done with this property, amazing what a little hard work, vision (and $200 million dollars) can do! Love the preservation of the original building design (and parking structure almost completely preserved) quirky touches of color and art, and good security in a part of town still a little bit "watch your back after dark". This place is grand. I cannot wait until the brewery and theater are completed! SO many good businesses already in operation (will review them individually). Check it out! (BTW it is convenient to downtown, Wiseacre Brewery, Overton Park, everything. . .) Approved!

James T.

Yelp
Carnival Memphis had our annual Krews for Kids fundraiser event here in the two lobby's/atriums. I have to say the place looks really amazing. At the time I write this there's still a lot to finish up but they seem to making great progress even though the entire building isn't technically finished. There's a lot of high tech security with lots of cameras and a full time security presence. They even have a really cool area where they have tv monitors showing all the different cameras and camera angles. They are currently offering tours and I plan on going on one to hear more about the building. I'll be sure to take some more photos once I've gone on the tour. I'll definitely be back once they finish in August. They already have a residential side but apparently there will be a cooking school, restaurants, and shops.

Bianca H.

Yelp
The location is beautiful however fair warning the security is terrible and within the 2 hour time span we were enjoying our dinner 7 vehicles were broken into including our own. This is absolutely ridiculous that with 2 patrolling vehicles and more than 5 security officers this is an occurrence. As beautiful as this place is it is not worth this safety issue.

Teresa M.

Yelp
We love crosstown!!! It's so much fun to walk around, people watch and we can always find something good to eat. It has the feeling of community that I very much love.

Tom G.

Yelp
The restaurants, MEH. Some of the stores, MEH. But the architecture, the atmosphere, but building. My grandmothers house was on N. Parkway just around the corner. I threw rocks at the windows when it was empty. I went in the basement when Sears was open, multi level department store then, how cool it was. To see that it is alive today in another version is a credit to those involved.

Maria P.

Yelp
Great construction. The staff inside is very helpful. The parking attendants are a diffaren't story. We parked in a 2 hour parking space. We were going to Church Health and the doctor was late so we were over our time. We accept accountability for that. But why, if you are putting a tow away sticker on a car, does it have to be placed on the glass window and not on the door? It seems a little extreme to me. I really think they need to reevaluate this policy because it doesn't attract customers to the newly renovated multi urbanplex if the parking attendants are this unprofessional.

Lee M.

Yelp
Fantastic venue for live music. I'll have to checkout the rest of the building. This is fantastic.

Alexis T.

Yelp
The coolest place to ever be placed in Memphis! I'm so glad to have somewhere to go that's clean morally and physically & I can enjoy the day. I can't wait to see more businesses put into action in the building.

Rogers J.

Yelp
Crosstown Concourse is a very ambitious project that is still in its early stage. There are several interesting eateries, but there is still a lot of unused spaced. We will continue to visit and hope the development continues.

Amanda H.

Yelp
Crosstown Concourse is open! While several restaurants and businesses are still undergoing construction, I highly suggest stopping by to tour the building and getting a great cup of coffee from French Truck Coffee or having a tasty lunch from The Curb Market's hot food bar. Looking forward to all the things opening soon.

Marissa W.

Yelp
So this place was interesting. Very modern and hipster! Cool art and atmosphere. Not our thing but cool to look at! Got lost because google maps but it was an adventure. I'd like to go back when more vendors are there!!

Eryane B.

Yelp
EVERYTHING you need is in this building. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Memphis. I was very shocked when I moved to Memphis & found this gem! This building has: common areas for the public to use WiFi, a church, radio station, high school, apartments, Dr./Dentist office, YMCA-pool, gym, different companies offices, a general/market store, restaurants & bars, Rx, mail (& right across from USPS), AT&T, museum, hair & nail salon, and I've probably missed a few but I hope this helps!

Joey R.

Yelp
Super fun place in Memphis. Love the decor and the investment in local places. The restaurants are unique and locally sourced. Big areas to work or hang out with friends

Joshua W.

Yelp
A great place for creatives to visit. It has a modern rustic feel to it. It feels like if tumblr was real life physical

Ray L.

Yelp
A great historical Memphis renovation of the historical sears building. Live, work, shop, eat, art, play. A little something for everyone.

Bruce M.

Yelp
This structure is the most impressive piece of urban architecture I have ever seen in Memphis, and frankly I cannot think of anything more impressive along the lines of a repurposed building anywhere. I was so impressed by the space, how the space is used, touches like wood paneling in the elevators and along some walls, the skylights. add to this a real array of shops, from ice cream to local grown produce, and tons of space given over to the arts. in addition the church health center is located here, along with an affiliated ymca; there is a temple, a space for local universities, teach for America, and so on and on. others seemed to agree as the place was hoppin' on a Tuesday morning; a parking structure and the several lots where parking is set aside were almost full. crosstown concourse is worth the trip.

Ashley W.

Yelp
When we first went, we were followed by security. I went to the customer service table to complain and the lady just looked at me like I was bothering her. Apparently Black Americans can't come here without being profiled, and customer service is apathetic. Memphis will never have progress.

Bruna K.

Yelp
I love the Crosstown Concourse. It feels like I'm in another city whenever I come by. They have cute places you can eat in, desserts, juices, etc. They also have businesses in here like Alsac, the Church Health Center, and a gym. Once they start opening up more things I'll drop by more. I really do like the atmosphere and how clean everything is and maybe in the future I'll take a cooking class.

Scooby D.

Yelp
Excited this place is packed with choices and things to do. It looks like they are adding more and more places. There are people all over this place. The cooking class looks and smells awesome. People seem to be having fun. The greeter is nicer than the one at Wally World. Lots of security so you can feel safe. Everyone seems nice. Food trucks, a mailing center, a home to some, options for food a Juice bar, a grocery store and a Pharmacy. Just to name a few. I can not wait to see what more is to come. They are updating the list as new tenants are added. I will say take a note.. Parking is a 4 floor garage so if you have somewhere to be at a certain time keep that in mind. Scooby loves to snack!

Samantha M.

Yelp
This place is fantastic! We stopped in when we were searching for coffee. When we asked people about places to go, no one mentioned that place but it was an incredible spot to visit as a tourist. There were cool shops and it has a really cool history.

Kay B.

Yelp
Spent a few hours Sunday at Crosstown Concourse. Got a manicure/ pedicure at Gloss Nail Bar Crosstown. It had been awhile since I was last there. Love the expansions made. There were more restaurant options and love the addition of MemPops!

Tina W.

Yelp
I work in the building and I love it!! Love the variety of restaurants to choose from and they aren't even finished opening up all of the spots. Excited about the nail bar that is coming as well. The Curb has good healthy food but pricey...love the scenery as well when I take my break and lunch. Wish the parking garage was wider, it is tight in my opinion, but I overall love it!!

Miriam W.

Yelp
I love cross town concourse as it is very close to my home but there are more times than I can count that I tried to go to one of the restaurants or businesses and THERE IS NO PARKING. It is very frustrating. I hope they change this as it's a shame for the wonderful businesses and ministries at the concourse and for all the potential customers and clients they could have had!

Jeff P.

Yelp
This place honestly has it all.. restaurants, coffee, ice cream, a theater, a brewery, marketplace, etc. It's a really cool place to visit and to bring people that haven't been. It never seems like it's crowded since it's so huge that people are always spread out. Highly recommend.

John N.

Yelp
Dr. Kangas at Crosstown Back & Pain Clinic is truly the best Pain Physician. He cured my annoying tennis elbow pain with just one office visit. The clinic also offers full physical therapy treatment including dry needling procedure that immediately relieve pains from my weekend heroes activities.
