This was a very cool place to stop in. The drinks were good. The food was fantastic. The service was excellent. Free pool tables on Sunday. A very cool spot tucked away in salt lake for sure

Very convenient location to our hotel, just a short walk. Awesome little bar & grill!! Beautiful decor with amazing, fast and friendly service! The food & cocktails are very reasonably priced as well as being delicious!! They have a great outside area with tables, a cozy firepit and beautiful view of the mountains. When in Salt Lake City this will be a must go place!!

Their nachos are super tasty and the service is very friendly! I'm more a social drink guy, but their gin and tonic, though simple, hits the spot. I also tried like a coconut rum, mixed drink that was great! Wish I remembered the name...😅 Anyway, great place!

Excellent food, excellent drinks, excellent service! It was so good and such a positive atmosphere we forgot to take pictures. We WILL 100% be coming back and bringing friends. Ragnar took care of us and was so pleasant. New favorite place.

We stopping by since we were staying next door, I was pleasantly surprised, this place is great. Fantastic rock bar, great music at a perfect level so you can have a conversation, great atmosphere, everything is pristine, restrooms were clean, drinks are awesome, you can watch the game, our server Megan was very nice too.

Saw this on the foodies list and decided to try it. Wasn’t super impressed. The food was okay but not great. My burger had the perfect amount of heat but not enough flavor. I also ordered loaded fries which had a light drizzle of sour cream, some crispy bacon, and not much cheese. The fries were basically just a flavorless clump of food with bacon. My husband got the rolls (can’t remember the name) and they were flavorful but too crispy (where it starts to near on the charred taste). His taco was very unimpressive. He got it because it was only two dollars and he wanted to try it but it was super bland. The actual bar itself is clean and nice with great service. Our server did great.

This place is fantastic! The food and drinks were great. The staff were friendly and attentive. And the menu was full of crow puns! We giggled like idiots while reading the menu. If I'm ever in town I will definitely stop on again.

Possibly the best dive-bar in the world!! Great beers, great food, great service - all at a very fair price!! Colorful and super-friendly locals - and, the killer... a low key, super-comfortable backyard. If I lived closer, I would be here (almost) every night!!

I love coming here. The food is literally so good- I haven't had something I've hated. The service is impeccable and they are so prompt to help. This place also seems to attract some of the best people in town- I've met some of my best friends here.

From the outside this looks like just another "hole in the wall", but upon entering and exploring further Crow and the Pitcher is quite a big space. On the night I came, upon entering, they were having a painting session up front where there were booths on one side and tables on the other. Walking past this area you come upon the bar and kitchen area. Past that area is a billiard area equipped with 2 tables. Out back they have quite a spacious patio as well. The staff is friendly. The food was your typical bar food. We ordered some loaded fries + mozzarella sticks and they hit the spot after a couple beers. It definitely gets more crowded the later you stay. The only con was at the end of the night when we cashed out. We had an open tab. We had a different bartender from when we arrived earlier. (Shift change) we had to go over exactly what we did and didn't order because the bill was incorrect. Next time I'll pay as I go and I suggest the same to anyone else who visits. Great local bar. Would definitely recommend.

Service was okay not great. The food was the same. Drinks were good, the prices were decent. The ambience was a bit off. I liked the music but there were some strange songs with a lot of cursing. I never mind a good expletive, I only mention it incase you or someone in your party would be sensitive to the language. I felt like the unique songs were funny to me and my party. There were 6 of us and not many people in the bar. We went on a Sunday night around 9pm. The parking was a bit tricky. You can park on the street or they do have some parking in the back. It is an older building, so the flow of the space is a little broken up. They have an outdoor area that allows smoking, but I did not go out there because no one else in my party or smokers. I recommend the Crowjito. Thank you for the delicious drinks.

Another wonderful meal and drinks at the Crow and the Pitcher!! Got a crisp and refreshing Miller Light along with loaded fries and celery slaw on the side!! For dessert I got the Crowjob and Crownuts!! Absolutely devine!! Such a fun and relaxing vibe! Plus service was amazing as always!!! Great way to end a long and draining week!!!

Y'all the migration burger has PORK ROLL! All my Philly/Jersey folks understand this delicious delicacy. Drinks and servers are ok, nothing really notable ‍ Parking is definitely a challenge but worth it! Also the fries and fry sauce are BOMB.

Visited a couple times recently. The food was pretty good. Don't try the burgers -- they are greasy as hell. Opt for the nachos instead. They had a bingo night. Right as I was gonna leave, decided to stay and participate. Ended up winning a game and had a few more beers. Ceilings are low. Bathroom clean. People are friendly. Good beer selection.

Good food, good service, good atmosphere. It wasn't until we left that we discovered they have outdoor seating.

I stopped in last weekend to check out the bar, as I haven't act been inside before. The bar staff was very friendly and was quick to bring our food and drinks. Even though we arrived after 10 we were still able to order food, I was happy that their kitchen stayed open a little later than some of the other bars around. I only ended up with the Mac and cheese bites, and I definitely liked them. The bar itself was fairly clean, they have a decent sized patio in the back, but it was way too cold for me to check it out. Otherwise, it seems like a small but decent bar on state street, prices were reasonable.

Picked this place based upon Yelp reviews and its location- walking distance from the hotel. The waitress was amazing. She looked like the only one on shift, but service was smooth. This bar/restaurant is small, dark, and comfortable. The burgers were great. We tried the Reuben egg rolls which were interesting. I would stop here again if I was in the area.

A group of friends and I came here after playing 3 sets of tennis. One of my friends had been here before. We were especially happy to find out that they serve food. My boyfriend and got garlic burgers and fries. They were pretty good, but I think I'd order the reuben egg roll next time. That looks like fun finger food and I'm sorry I didn't notice that on the menu. We really liked the offerings of craft beers. I got a house tequila shot with salt and lime and a lager I'd never had before. It's called the Heavy Metal Parking Lot by Saltfire Brewing Co. I'd for sure order that again. Our server was cool. Service was quick. The place is a little dive and I like the look and vibe. It's casual, welcoming, and relaxing. I especially loved their E.T. poster near the bathrooms. Hope to go back ASAP! I had a good time there.

I've always driven past the place, so decided to finally go there for dinner. It didn't look like much of a place. It's a storefront with the windows covered, so if you didn't know that it's a bar you'd miss it. The inside was really nice and clean for it being a bar. The lighting is low, and sort of a crow theme, but not over the top. The patio area looks amazing. They do have a pool table area, but I didn't check it out. Now on to the food! The food was surprisingly really good for it being a bar. The mac and cheese bites was really good. You get a surprising beautiful cheese pull when eating it. Both the sandwich and quesadilla is good - nothing special to write home about. The chicken wings was cooked to perfection. It wasn't dry at all. It was perfectly sauced. I do wish the chicken wings was seasoned a little bit more, if it wasn't for the sauce I think the chicken would have been bland. Pro tip: I highly recommend getting their holy crow sauce on the side. One of the best sauce ever! It's sweet, tangy and spicy! When we went the bar was empty, so service was amazing. I'm not sure how the service would be if it's during brunch time or any busy time.

Chill vibe. Love the decor! The wait staff is nice and the food is soooooo tasty! We tried the Reuben Eggrolls, Porkitory sandwich and the Migration Burger. All of it was delish. I'm so glad I checked Yelp for someplace new. Will come back again and definitely recommend for a nice, low-key bar night.

Looking for some GREAT appetizers, a brew and a delicious burger? Well, welcome to the Crow and the Pitcher! This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. First off, this little bar has a great small town or neighborhood feel to it--I was immediately reminded of the many roadside bars you find driving through rural areas in the Midwest. It just felt cozy. For appetizers, we had the wings and the the Reuben egg rolls. Oh my!!! Both were just delicious, and I even loved the chopped celery and bleu cheese concoction that accompanied the wings (as opposed to the traditional carrot and celery sticks). My blues burger and fries were also tasty, though admittedly I preferred the apps. Oh, and the draft Hefeweizen was excellent! And perhaps the best part? Get this ... two appetizers, two burgers each with fries and a couple of beers all in was just $48! Amazing! Service was great and deserving of a generous tip. You just don't often find great neighborhood watering holes like the Crow very often, especially in Utah. This place is unique, and well worth a visit.

The Thirsty Burger. Is. Delicious. Worth a trip just to try it. High quality beef, delicious spicy sauce, and caramelized onions with pickled jalapeños. So, so good. Order with the fries and you'll forget you are at a dive-y bar in Murray on State Street

It was okay. I had the garlic burger with onion rings. The burger bun was nicely grill toasted, the cheese fully melted on the burger. Beyond that, it was okay. The burger lacked flavor to include a complete lack of garlic flavor. I put some salt on it to try and coax some flavor to no avail. It was kind of dry too. I should have asked for some mayo and mustard. Too much lettuce and too thick a of a tomato slice which overwhelmed everything else. I expected the union rings to be fresh & made in-house. Pretty sure they were Sysco foods frozen rings and very bland. All this said, I give 5 stars for the price. At $14.08, it's a great price (Monday special prices). Service was fine.

Great little local dive bar in Murray. My buddies and I go here on Monday nights for Bingo, $3 drafts, and discounted appetizers! The also have billiards in the back room. Great for a casual hang out with your buddies.

So so so unbelievably stoked to have found this place last minute. Some friends and I were going to a concert that got cancelled and decided to make a night out of it anyway. This place is RAD. You would never know it had such a cute little yard area when looking from the street but the service was AMAZING. Food was great, drinks were great, everything about it was just awesome. We definitely didn't look like we would fit in there right off the bat but that's always part of the fun and the two cute waitresses on the patio were so welcoming and incredible. They made the whole night!!

One of the best bars in south salt lake. The service is impeccable. The food is always yummy and hits the spot. Monday bingo. Taco Tuesday. Trivia on Wednesday. Adult happy meals on Thursday. Friday night special. Music on the weekends and excellent Sunday specials!

Great little dive bar with reasonable prices, good food, and a no bs atmosphere. Friendly bartenders and wait staff. Playlist can be pretty punk at times. Finally on bingo night do not scream bingo in the bar unless you are absolutely sure you have a bingo. Didn't show my face here for over a month after calling a bad bingo.

Went in for a visit about a year ago. At the time, the had a taco Tuesday deal. I believe the margaritas were discounted as well as the tacos. They taste fine for what you pay for, I found the cheeseburger taco to be pretty interesting. Nice place to visit on Tuesday's!

This neighborly pub is nice to come for a good burger and hear music if I come for a gig. Today I showed up for brunch, prices are good. Service is awesome each time I come. I had the Crow Hash The hash browns today were crispy smashed tater tots. Did they not have hash browns? I think you ought to try this place out. There is corn hole to play on the patio. Did I mention there are fire pit for the coming cooler weather? Hayley did a wonderful Bloody Mary for me.

Nice little low-key bar off the main drag going into Salt Lake City. Close by to the hotel (TownPlace Suites Murray) where I was staying. Tuesdays they have $2 tacos and $2 tequila and Corona specials. I have to admit that the tacos there are pretty good--choice of flavorful juicy pollo or carne asada. Friendly bartender and great place to hang out for drinks after work.

What a fab little place located off the main drag in Murray. My friend and I decided to hit this place up since we drive past it on the way into town. We checked the reviews and we were intrigued. Don't be scared to enter. The entrance gives off a dive bar feel and yes, everyone looked at us when we walked in but don't worry, you are fine. A delicious bar awaits you. Small, open and clean bar awaits you. We sat, we ordered burgers, and we got our mules. Great burgers, great fry sauce, great mules. Great service is all I needed to pin this as a 5 star. Sad to say our server was pretty rude. I understand she was the only one working the bar but slow down a bit, make eye-contact, smile, say you are welcome, something. (There were only 5 people in the bar when we were there so why was she so "busy.") We felt uncomfortable asking for food or a drink because she was so put out. Maybe it was just a bad day? I would try this place again though. If you can put the possibility of anxious service behind you and just chill back for a bit, this is a really great place to grab a great burger (food) and a drink.

This is an unsuspecting bar on the 4900 block of S State Street in Murray. It is literally a 5 minute or less walk from the back door of thr Hilton Home2 Suites. The website boasts the name of the bar comes from thr Aesop poem of the same name. However, from my experience, the theme mostly takes its cue from Edgar Allen Poe's the Raven. The food and drinks have some wonderfully and amusing macabre names that you have to see for yourself. The food and drinks are good, walked in around 10pm on a Friday and was welcomed by loud thumping music by their DJ. The place gathered more of a crowd the closer to closing time which was interesting. There is a large section in the back alongside the main bar section. Definitely give this place a try. They have a great little dessert called "crow nuts" which should not be confused with cronuts, a variation on a donut. Instead crow nuts are fried spheres of dough covered in chocolate and powdered sugar. It goes well with a cocktail or two, including my favorite "Attempted Murder". Seriously that's the name.

Food was good and enjoyed the eclectic crowd. Music wasn't my flavor that evening but have been there before and everything was spot on. Will definitely try again.

I went back to this place after my first time visiting in 2019 and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere is super chill and inviting. The service was speedy and friendly. I had the Thirsty Burger and it was amazing! If you like spicy aioli and jalapeños I highly recommend it, and at a great price too! The drinks are cold and the patio is nice. I recommend this place.

In this part of town, at a late time of night, there are precious few options to get something not in a drive-thru and something not in a bag. So when the Yelp app picked up this spot as an "Open Now" option and I recognized the name as one that had piqued my curiosity, I pointed the truck in their direction and headed this way. It's not much from the outside--just a storefront on State Street in Murray with some signage. But when you walk in, it's a little more than you thought it might be. We had a discussion about what kind of bar this is. Dive? Nah, it's a bit nicer than that and with better food. More like neighborhood bar. So we grabbed a seat after showing IDs and looked through the menu. Although there are salads, this ain't health food. Case in point: the Murder Plate (platter?) that we ordered: fries, onion rings, fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, fried corn balls. It was Taco Tuesday, so we got a pork and a buffalo chicken taco. We made a resolution to go back and try the pulled pork grilled cheese because duh. It was a pretty low-key crowd with the exception of a young fella who was lit up having a night. He finally got kicked out which was the right call, and the bartender (Angela, maybe?) was having zero of it and handled it well. If you're in the area and looking for food and it's late (and you don't mind eating in a bar), this is the perfect fit. If you're after bar food, this is a great fit. Since I don't drink, I can't comment on the drink menu.

Wow, so many things wromg it's hard to remember what they did right, umm it wasn't the dirtiest bar I have ever been to. I thoughr dive bars were supposed to be cheap too. Glad I quit drinking as much.

Simple bar with good burgers. I won't claim it's a culinary experience but it is a good watering hole with Sports on the TV and a good Thursday night burger special. Great place for burger, beer & catching the Basketball game.

Cute place with great food and a fun staff. I wanted the Philly Fries (cheese fries with rib eye Philly meat), but they had run out of the meat. Not to be discouraged, the server suggested chicken. I saw they had pulled pork on another dish and asked if we could sub that instead. Great choice! The fries would have been tasty on their own but were amazing with cheese and pork! The pork was moist and delightfully seasoned. And I'm a native Texan so am picky about my pulled pork. Hubs got the Pizza Burger, which is topped with mozzarella sticks and pepperoni, then smothered in marinara sauce. He was very happy with his choice and I did not get my usual sample. They have a great selection of cocktails, including local brews. Looks like a great patio too. We're about to move to SLC and we will definitely be back.

I chose this pub at random since I was in town for one night. I couldn't have picked a better place! I accidentally came in on their taco Tuesday night and their food and drinks were good and pretty cheap. The bartenders were very attentive and friendly.

Delicious food: we had the murder plate, along with excellent $2.50 mimosas on Sundays. Kind servers, chill vibe. Affordable. Highly recommend!

Taco Tuesday was extremely busy however the carnitas tacos were fabulous, you do have to stay on the waiter he gets side tracked because it is so busy . Great margaritas as well !

Cool spot and most relaxed drinking experience in SLC. They even have drink specials. This was the only place I encountered with drink special in 7 days while visiting. Maybe its just stupid laws but at every establishment I went to the servers and bartenders were uptight and had a list of rules. Not here. Just relaxed chill service and great tacos!

$5 brunch mimosas. I stopped went in for a visit decided to finally go there for dinner I went to bingo for the first time Food, service & atmosphere are great.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. First time at this bar. Food was good, drinks were very well mixed, bar was clean and they were playing some really good music we all enjoyed.

I've been coming here off and on for the last 4 years and it's always been great. Food is great and everything I tried is delicious, the drinks are also really good and affordable. They average around $8. Service is always welcoming and consistently see the same workers who are sweet

This is absolutely my favorite local bar! The staff and ownership are just wonderful. You can't beat the food prices and the drink selection is great. Can't wait for warmer weather to throw some bags on the patio.

Friendly and quick service! We went on a Sunday for brunch with just four people and it was a very calm and divey environment. The drinks were cheap and the food was good and well priced. Will be back for brunch as it was much calmer than most brunch places! Their patio looks so cool as well so when spring and summer arrive looking forward to hanging out there!

This is a great local restaurant/bar. Being from out of town the bartenders made me feel welcome. Tuesday was taco night, Wednesday was wings, and Thursday was burger. Yes I went 3 nights in a row. All the food specials were very good. The bar is small but has plenty of tables, they always had some good music playing. I definitely recommend and will go back. A bonus is the owners are from NJ and just a town over from where I live, the bonus is they have PORKROLL on the menu yum!!
