Loved this local pub! Went both nights while staying in Kenmare. The first night they had live music that was wonderful (and significantly less loud than the bar across the street). Bartenders were very friendly. Spot that many locals attend, and are more than willing to stoke up a conversation with tourists.

Great pints and class bar. Two lads pulling pints were sound and very efficient service. Probably best pub we found in Kenmare.

A wonderfully cozy pub with a warm coal fire, and NO television. Fun to chat with the kind and friendly locals over a pint of Guinness. Loved this place.

Such a fun locals’ bar, mixed in with many surrounding tourist locations. We were the only Americans in the pub, which we appreciated. A few locals were very nice to chat us up. We had a blast. Kenmare was fantastic. Frankly, this is one of many great options for a few pints.

Great small pub with cozy atmosphere. Bar tender was kind and welcoming, he was attentive and never made anyone feel like a bother. Pints were perfectly poured. Enjoyed traditional irish music after 8pm. A place for locals and tourists alike; overall a lovely way to end an evening in Kenmare.

Yelp
No doubt my favorite pub in all of Ireland. If you want the shiny, flashy joints with all the hipsters, keep on walking. If you want a genuine Irish Pub culture, step right in! Traditional music often, great local color and the perfect pint. Sweet Joan Crowley trained her son Peter very well. Don't miss this stop

Yelp
Crowley's is a place to go and have nice pint and quiet conversation with a friend. It's not a tourists pub, and doesn't really cater to that crowd. It felt more like a local to me. The place is small and cozy, and you might get the feel of the stranger walking into an old west saloon where everything suddenly goes quiet. Later on we were in the Coachman's Bar, chatting with the barman and his friend, and they were surprised that we had just been in Crowleys, because they "wouldn't go in there without a six shooter". Anyway, it's one of the nicer pints I remember having in Ireland, so to each his own. You want to get away from the other tourists, you gotta go a little further. I was told that they have sessions there, but it is usually unplanned (or at least un advertised)

Yelp
Small quaint pub without tv's. What a concept you have to talk to each other! Great Guinness.

Yelp
From what I understand, Crowley's finally added a women's restroom 15 years ago. This is a local pub where quiet conversation occurs. Had a glass of Jameson on the rocks and left. It was a bit mildewy.
